You need a large pool. A new site that arbitrarily limits messaging will not make it. Maybe a niche site could make it (gays, trannies, discrete affairs, etc.). But the free, open sites get all the volume and fresh customers. I'll post about BeautifulPeople.com in a new thread.

Anyone know if this is free? The big advantage I could see to this is that it's extremely low investment, so if I don't have to pay money I could just make a profile, "set it and forget it," and see if it catches any flies.

I mentioned this site some time ago on another thread. I saw an ad for it on Tagged and clicked on it. Once I read what the set-up was (can't view profiles, can't initiate contact), I didn't bother with it. I get the premise that you can just set up a profile and wait for someone to contact you, but I actually like being able to go on a site and hunt for what I like, not the other way around. This site attempts to remove almost all power from men. Just on principle, I struggled with it.

I know one of the biggest complaints chicks have on sites is getting all kinds of either lame or perverted messages. At the same time, I assume most sites allow you to make your profile private, and/or set the level of communication that someone can have with you. My initial thought was that this site is set up contrary to women's online behavior - they DON'T want to initiate. They want to sit back and get attention, and be in the position to reject guys. The only chicks that initiate online to me are ugly/old/fat, etc. etc. I can't recall contact being initiated by anyone attractive - I had to initiate with 99% percent of the chicks on my list, and many of them just accept you because they're just trying to add to their own lists, and you don't hear anything from them, so I'm always deleting and adding new chicks to replace them. And most of the chicks on my list are outside the US, as I found American chicks have the most fucked-up attitudes and are extremely difficult to even have online interaction with.

No more creepy guys who just like my pic, and when I get a message in my inbox, I know it’s going to be from someone I already have an interest in. And all the guy has to do is: nothing. It seems a complete reversal of traditional roles. It seems in a way like a window-shopping. The same way a woman goes around in a department store looking to shop shoes, a dress, a tank-top or a new type of fregrance, she will search for a potential male to date.Women take time to decide what they want and they will check all the details not just a pic as males tend to do. When they contact a guy, they are pretty sure that they want to know him better. Although it seems uncmfortable for the male pride,it is a fact of life that women are taking more control of their relationships. There are a lot of men who although don’t admit it, they like women in control. Now they have the chance to let the woman take the lead.

I’ve seen many a website where men are scammed by fake “women” who show an interest in them only to get them to actively purchase the right to talk to them. I’ve never been reeled into one of these, but you sure have to have a lot of faith on a website like that.

What's funny is that they seem to feel that men are in complete control on other sites, when in fact men and women are EQUAL on those sites. Everyone has the ability to initiate, but women don't take the initiative. Men HAVE to be more aggressive and initiate, so they do, but that doesn't mean they are granted more control. The fact that their communications may be unimaginative and lame is beside the point. Part of the problem is that women often don't give you much on their own profiles to work with, thus your initial message to them has to be generic. HerWay simply makes it easier for chicks that don't want to put in any effort by having to read messages.

It seems like low maintenance for us - just make a profile and wait. Probably not gonna work all that great and one shouldn't expect anything at all, but no work on our part. I'm not hating. Just make a profile and forget about it unless you get a message.

I like the idea from business perspective as it is quite different from other dating websites. Wish I thought about this before. If somebody has a good online dating service idea let me know...

In the past I have noticed the same broads on multiple sites, like OKC, POF, Match, etc. It might be useful to use some game that El Mech mentioned in the past; Put a very DHV profile up on herway, with equally good pics, and see who contacts you. Game them while seeing if they are on other sites and use the knowledge gained from herway to contact her on those other sites.

In my experience if a broad contacts you she is DTF, so use anything you learn while gaming her elsewhere.

This is a bit of a shot in the dark method, but may well work as she wouldn't be likely to suspect a thing as you would be contacting her on a different site.
