To me theres no issue with lying to get poon. As men we should use every weapon in our arsenal to get it. Women hold the cards in the current dating market, so in countries like Vietnam where long-term relationships and marriage are widely valued and expected from women, we as men should be using this as a tool to get laid. Women themselves are being deceptive too, with their edited photos, makeup, fake breasts and so on.

I'm sure your decision was reaffirmed when they started to ask you for money and motorbikes

When I last visited Vietnam a few years ago, I noticed a massive influx of young, good looking white guys in the main two cities.

Can anyone explain the sudden deluge of them? Are they mainly former English teachers in China who fled, or South Africans trying to escape the current whitey genocide going on there?

@ ISR92 You're the first guy that thinks the way I do. So many guys and I mean lots of guys criticize me for not being honest with girls. Girls lie all the time and when they are not straight lying they are just very deceptive and bullshitting. Like chicks that give amazing head and then they say "Ohh last time I did this was with my boyfriend last year" haha come on, you lying bitch.

The truth is that after banging a girl that in no way WHATSOEVER had indicated that she wanted/expected money or shit from me for sex then she brings that up, not only I feel that I've been deceived all along but I also feel I have the right to tell her to get lost.

@Coke Zero Addict: I also saw plenty of young western guys in Saigon, not only in Saigon but everywhere in Asia. I mean, young foreign guys who live there, not just on vacation. I can't really speak of Vietnam but I guess the situation in the west is so bad that everyone is trying to find greener pastures and I include myself in that category.

RE: The lowdown on Ho Chi Minh/Vietnam - datasheet
Fellow member PapiRico told girls 'I love you' on the first date which worked well for him.

You accelerated the process. You seemed quite invested to them because you talked to them every day and wanted to be with them. Then you got your part - sex. Their looks are their value. Now they get their part - money. You cannot even keep girls like the 2 gold diggers around for 2 weeks without giving them their part or making huge promises.
Don't forget, though, that 5/7 of the girls you banged were not gold diggers.

The crucial thing for me is that these girls write "Thank you my friend" when they post photos of these gifts so these guys (it is unlikely that they got such gifts from girls) are not even their boyfriends. Not only the Asians mentioned but also Western men do it especially when they have a bit of money and are short in time and want to accelerate the process. The girls then feel that they have to give back something to these guys (but not always) which is sex.

You are right that you develop a skill to predict the effort required to have sex with a specific girl.

In my experience, the girls who don't want to have sex before marriage are quite serious about it but everything else goes with them.

I wish most of Viet girls had massive boobs as you write. Some do. In the majority of cases, I feel quite disappointed after yet another push-up bra goes off. Let me know how you screen that except sideboobs pics you sometimes see with hot girls or bikini pics.

(01-12-2019 06:21 AM)Polero Wrote:  Yeah man, thank you. I don't mind putting in the time because that usually yields results. In their minds I think it works like this: "This guy has been texting every day for weeks, he's moving here and he's promised we'll be together (I told them I'd with them, I know, this is straight lying and playing with them) so if I go to his hotel and we have sex it's okay because he seems to be a good guy and in the long term it'll be good for me" LOL.

I saw the hottest chicks in expensive hotels and restaurants, shopping, even on trips abroad. Of course some other guy had paid for all that. Girls like to enjoy life and get as much as they can from men, it's a game so for me it's a game too and the reward is their pussy. Very often girls outsmart men and they play them so if sometimes they get played I think it's totally fine.

I usually "sense" after a lil while if it's going to work with a girl or not, ie: how quickly they answer my messages, their initial involvement and other indicators, If I feel it's going to take forever I ditch them because here in Asia there are thousands of available girls, no need to waste time with the ones looking for validation or whatever. I could be wrong in my assessment and I'm sure I've lost chicks by ditching them too early but again, there are so many so it doesn't really matter.

Some girls sometimes they say things like sex will only happen after 3 dates or after marriage or many other things. I think this is just a test so I often keep trying but if I feel they're for real I give up on them. It's hard to explain, I've been in the Game for many years now and it's kind of like a sixth sense. Reading their minds, understanding them, anticipating events and reactions etc are all things that sometimes just happen right? When I was 20 years old I had no clue, now experience helps a lot, I still sometimes fuck up though: this week a girl came home and I couldn't close her after drinking almost two bottles of wine haha

The way I see it it's a learning experience and I try to learn from my mistakes and failures.

Probably English Teachers. When I went to Vietnam I barely saw any white people except at the resorts I booked. Nowadays everyone seems to push it as an English teaching destination (except the math doesn't really work out: only making $1,800 and yet have to pay for your own apartment / scooter / gasoline. There's arguably better places to teach English but they're less trendy at the moment).

Tons of South Africans fleeing here right now. I'd agree that ESL doesn't make a whole lot of sense though. People make $2k on the high end. An English guy in my building though was saying he only makes around 20 mil vnd which is like $900 us. I don't know how they save much on that unless they're living very frugally.

It's around $500-$600 for a nice (but not spectacular) 1br serviced apartment. Moto rental is $50. Eating out for anything non Vietnamese is Western prices. Gyms are Western prices, etc.

I guess if you don't have much debt back home, and are ok living like a college student it's doable.

One of the big schools I worked for has loads of Saffas who are escaping.. Some of them are just partying, alot of them are living the aspirational life: living in high end Vin Homes apartments under the shadow of Landmark 81, planning their weddings, their corporate futures in Vietnam

For British graduates lumbered with $60,000 - $80,000 debt its a good way to pay off debts back home (there is a slide rule system for paying back in the UK depending on the average wages of the country you reside in) whilst still retaining comparatively high status less work, more shopping and partying lifestyle of a middle class student studying "Female Empowerment in Shakespeare's Macbeth'.

The jump from that to making it in the UK city centre job markets/ rental markets is far more brutal.

Pm me these better places Smile ..

No ESL teacher is living in Vin Homes unless they're sharing the place with 4 other flatmates lol.

The U.S measures student loan repayments by disposable income some you can get away with paying very little as well. The debt isn't going anywhere though if you just pay the minimum.

I'd agree that life is cushier out here for a teacher vs. an entry level corporate gig back home. It's kind of postphoning the discomfort though as these guys aren't developing a skill set.

Korea: almost every gig still provides a free studio, taxes are super low (they have a lot of tax credits) and pensions can be refunded for most nationalities. Gmarket is super cheap to live off. Nobody really needs a scooter in Korea because your boss will get you a studio walking distance to the school. Korea is almost regarded as being the best place for saving money.

China: I had some prior experience but even I was offered 21,000 RMB a month in a 2nd tier city. Now whether to say that was some bait & switch scam or some trick I don't know because I didn't take the offer.

Taiwan: the country has high standard housing everywhere but not luxury. So it's pretty easy to get a place near work and not need to own a scooter.

Vietnam to me is really overrated as if the people who go there are only comparing it to Thailand and Japan... It was never a popular English teaching destination until out of nowhere within the past years.

I've been in Ho Chi Minh for four days now. I've been holed up in my hotel for almost that entire time.
Just too tired to even go out, as I outdid myself in Bangkok.

I haven't quite decided if I want to be here for a week or a month.

@ Poseidon If you're staying in Saigon in D1 for one month I'd buy one of those masks, man. Good luck with the shitty air.

Making $900 a month and an apartment is $500? Jesus Christ, that means that unless these guys are sharing, and even sharing, then they need to either have other sources of income, or savings or something else going on. I guess 2K a month is comfortable enough. Anyone knows what the standard salary is for legit international schools?

You do get used to the air after a while. I bought one if those fancy masks that filters pm2.5 particles and I never wear the damn thing. I don't commute or spend a lot of time outside though. Some people can't handle it, especially the Euros it seems. A Viet girl I banged said her Dutch bf got so sick he had to go back home and his doctor told him not to come back lol.

Yeah, maybe. I'm European and I live in China, the city I live in doesn't have very bad air for Chinese standards but for some reason the air in Saigon hit me really bad.

The worst thing is when you're trailing a moto or truck that hasn't had an oil change in years and they're just puffing black smoke clouds in your face and there's too much incoming traffic to overtake them.

I've almost passed out from trying to hold my breath too long.

I know, I noticed that. Some vehicles would throw out clouds of smoke directly to my face when traveling in a scooter, after two days in Saigon not only my nose was fucked but the phlegm levels were crazy and very frequent. I guess for that Dutch dude it was too much, especially coming from Holland, a country very green and with very little traffic.

When you are a white American guy in Vietnam, you are in a way representing me an every other guy similar to you. I would personally prefer that you at least leave the women with the impression that you were honest and upfront... because what you do eventually reflects on all of us.

Also, I will add that in my interaction with Vietnamese women as a whole... they have treated me so much better than the women in the US that I feel they deserve much more respect and good treatment from me in return. Sure there are some of them who are gold diggers and trashy... but even THOSE treat me better than your average American 6.

I think CleanSlate kind of alluded to this a bit in his response. Calibration is an important part of game. There is such a thing as cultural calibration, and I fear that just dropping into a country for a week without learning much about the people or how they live leaves you culturally autistic.

Vietnam is not the West. The women in Vietnam generally live hard lives. They are expected to take care of their families, parents, brothers, cousins... and sacrifice their own life needs and wants to the greater benefit of those around them. There is no free healthcare, no free college or government loans available. There is no welfare programs, no child support, no alimony. When their parents grow old they are expected to help fund their retirement.

I'm not going to judge you for being dishonest. I just think it's important that you don't look down on girls who need to get something out of dating. I mean casual sex is not big in Vietnam and the country is still fairly conservative.

In every country, women and men do things for their own interests. Here, most of us respect conservative women, but they can be some of the most rapacious and devious women in the book. But, yes since we have to be betting men when it comes to women, Vietnam is not a bad bet.

You're right, CleanSlate did allude to this and that's totally fine. We all play the game the way we think it's best for us and we try to get what we want in the ways we think it will produce such results. I know that some of you don't like the fact that I lied to girls, and that's fine, we can all have an opinion. Sometimes the circumstances are what they are and cannot or don't want to spend longer in a country but still wanna bang a lot. I love Vietnam and I'm trying to learn as much as possible but if I have to choose between banging and culture, banging it is for me.

I'm not going to judge you for being dishonest. I just think it's important that you don't look down on girls who need to get something out of dating. I mean casual sex is not big in Vietnam and the country is still fairly conservative.

Thing with this is, if they need to get something out of dating, that's absolutely okay and I can respect that as long as they tell me beforehand. If I'm talking to a girl, online or face to face, and she says that to meet me she wants money, she wants to be dined or she wants presents, I will just move on. If they don't tell me, if they try to be sly and deceptive and wait till I hook and then tell me and expect money or presents, then how can I have a positive opinion about them? Ideally, everyone should be honest, I agree 100% but the reality is far from that.

Yes, I'm in D1. On.. waaaait for it... Bui Vien street. Noise pollution is the primary concern.
Then again, you can't jump into the ocean and expect not to get wet. I haven't been going outside much at all, as I just want to rest.

I'll probably find an apartment on the closest beach and spend a few weeks there, away from everything. That's what I really need now - a place to zone out.

Lol, it's loud there yeah.

I'd suggest going to Phu Quoc island to relax, enjoy the nature and recharge the batteries. It's not the closest beach but some areas are really nice. You can fly from Saigon very cheap with Viet Jet Air.

Vun Tao is 2 or 3 hours from Saigon by road or boat. Nice seaside town.

Maybe other forum members have better suggestions?

I saw a really nice apartment in Vun Tao last week, overlooking the ocean.
It was about $1,100 but with the airbnb monthly discount it dropped to $350 for a whole month.
Only reason I didn't take it is, I was concerned about the 2 hour drive from the airport in Ho Chi Minh.

Vung Tao is kind of shitty. Bui Vien is REALLY shitty. GTFO of there.

You want a good beach you go to Phu Quoc or Da Nang. Personally I'd recommend Da Nang.

True, but Vung Tao does have some good beer clubs... AND it's where HCMC's upper middle class goes on the weekends to party.

Of course if you are just going for the beaches... Vung Tao is not the best choice.

Hold on here.

You're white knighting here not because Viet women are so much better but because of your own selfish needs to get poon in Vietnam. Let's at least call a spade a spade.

Calling a spade a spade, you ARE judging him for telling these girls lies or you wouldn't have written your comment in response.

You're white knighting here not because Viet women are so much better but because of your own selfish needs to get poon in Vietnam. Let's at least call a spade a spade.
Calling a spade a spade, you ARE judging him for telling these girls lies or you wouldn't have written your comment in response.

I just want guys who read this thread to understand some of the major cultural differences. I'm also suggesting that we don't kick people who are already struggling and down... that idea shouldn't be controversial.

Polero didn't do anything really bad... the factors that make foreign guys attractive in Vietnam are not going to vanish because a handful of guys lie.
