Is it only me or have you noticed very young Colombian women (18-21 year olds) seem to have no problem dating 35-40 year old men? I'm not talking about prepagos but regular girls from the barrios, some of them are college students.

Why are they attracted to men that could almost be their dads? Is it because the young guys don't treat them well? By the way, Colombia seems to be one of the countries where some degree of beta is acceptable.

Please let me know if you have observed their interest in older guys.

For the same reason you see girls in their 20's here dating guys in their 40's-50's in the US. The older guys have money. Simple as that. I know a lot of Colombian girls (non-prepagos), especially college girls, that have older boyfriends. I can't think of a single Colombian college girl that is dating a guy in his late 30's to 40's who is as broke as the average Colombian dude in his 20's.

In a lot of cases, the older guy is buying her shit and taking her places that she could never afford on her own. There is also the additional benefit of marrying an older, wealthier guy in terms of giving her an IMMEDIATE boost in her social status. The woman gives the man her youth and beauty in exchange for his money and social status.

The fact is that your financial means has a huge effect on your social status and is one of the things that ALMOST ALL WOMEN use to evaluate you. In less developed countries, where the masses (particularly women) have VASTLY less perceived opportunities for social mobility, dating/marrying a man of means becomes much much more appealing, thus financial resources has an even greater influence on the overall attraction package. It becomes a reliable way for a woman to rise in social status.

colombian women see the older man as more stable, financially better off, more likely to be a provider and less likely to fuck around on them

gringos go down there and all of a sudden think they are studs because for the first time in their lives girls are showing them interest...in the meantime the gringo is paying for everything....

guys who women REALLY want for their looks and game etc pull beautiful women in western countries...

Observed from female Cupid and Badoo profiles in Colombia:

Around 18-20, they prefer guys their own age
Around 21-24, they prefer guys the same age or a few years older, never older than 30.
25 and older, they consider over 30s. Usually they list an age range 10 years older. For example, a 26 year old girl will look for a guy 26-36.

The majority of Colombians are short term thinkers. If an older guy is interested right now, she won't rule it out. She may go out with him a couple of times and see what happens.

Gringos tend to go after girls that Colombians reject. Girls that are the local version of trailer trash. They'll always get passed over, or played, by the high status Colombian guy. These girls entertain the gringo approach since the gringo is often blind to indicators of social class.

Seems to be the case of most countries in or near Central America. One of my out-of-town regulars is 21 this year and we've been hanging since she was 18 and I was 35.

In Chicago (my most common home town), I see the same case with Costa Ricans, El Salvadorans and Guatemalans -- especially the hotter, slimmer Spanish descent ones.

Latinas love a gangster, and practically no 20-something guy can pull it off having such a pretty face.

Compare apples to apples then. Try dating women from the same social class as you, or education down there. See how well you do. In certain cultures it is common to see a significant age difference. The middle east is quite common.

I was chatting up with a gal around 3years my junior, I am early 30s. This was on CC. Now she had a decent job (engineer) was working full time and making decent money down there. Point is you can meet all kinds down there.

As for Colombian men passing on certain girls, good for them. More availability for me. As Mixx put it, the top notch are unavailable to non locals unless you meet certain criteria. See his many posts. But, are the top notch really available to you in your home town???? Yes and no.

I see sex bombs in Toronto dating these thug type guys. I ask myself how the hell did he get her whe you are brainwashed into thinking get a degree, good job and all will fall into place i.e. women too. Well, that is not necessarily the case. I have indeed scored some cuties, but none of the sex bombs as of yet. As for Colombian young ones preferring a man of my stature and status. Great.

Life is short. Either way you will pay for it $$$$$$$. In Canada, USA, you will pay. Look at how much these famous people paid for divorcing their wives. I will rather try my luck in colombia paying for a measly dinner for two that would cost the equivalent of an appetizer in a toronto restaurant if I fed myself.

There are pluses and minuses of course. You don't want to be taken for a sucker, that is why you buy the food and get her to cook it in your place. If you choose to go for a broke ass gal anywhere, expect to foot the bill.

I notice this a lot too, though other Toronto guys deny it. I see a lot of serious hotties with these low life looking thugs and gangsta wannabes. It's usually the younger ones though, probably upto 21 years old or so. But, those girls are also most often the hottest as well.

Women love power.

Unless you're a movie star or a touring musician, pretty boys tend not to have as much power as a gangster does. I know a few NYC financial consultant pretty boys, but moreso than not, young hot Latinas prefer a rough looking older guy who isn't afraid to throw or take punches over a well-dressed handsome young guy.

Probably why I do gang busters in Central America -- and the women aren't high maintenance in my experience, either. They can cook, massage backs, run a bath, iron clothes, and are generally inherently great in the sack.

A very cute 20 year-old Colombian has told me she wants to marry me and I have no doubt she means it. I'm 49, so technically I'm old enough to be her great-grandfather. She would probably marry a reggaeton star if she had the choice, but she's a single mother (at age 16) from the hood with a brother in prison, divorced parents, no way of making a decent living other than as a prepago, and I'm sure sees me as a good catch. I have a really good resume as far as chicks considering the tools I have to work with, and am very good at this point in life discerning sincerity from absence of it. I have no doubt her perceiving me as having more money than the average Colombian guy her age (which is true though I'm not exactly moneybags and don't know if I can make a decent living down there) is a big plus. A Colombian security guard typically makes $15/day - I often make that in 6 minutes, though being down there would make it more difficult for me to do that.

That all having been said, Colombian women also have far less of a feminist influence, so they often date and marry older guys, which is perfectly normal and natural and has been recognized as such throughout the entire history of mankind and in virtually, if not every, species in the animal kingdom. They also don't hate men the way so many American women do, and are horny and sexualized as hell, so from what I have seen, they can get off and have a nice sex life with just about any guy that doesn't stink to high hell and can get it up. In the interest of full disclosure, I also look a lot younger than my age (I even frequently get carded going into clubs, causing the bouncers to raise their eyebrows when they see my ID), keep up with new music, and I found that showing this girl some of the porn I'm in was a DHV cuz she's a lil freak.

So, yes, Colombia is great for older guys. I could elaborate in a lot more detail some of the evidence in that regard.

Dirk - I hope you're not being serious.

I have seen this same issue brought up a lot. It is not just Colombia. Many places around the world (Especially Southern Asia, South America and some European countries) it is very very common to see a girl with a guy 10-15 years her senior. Despite what feminazi's tell you, I do believe in most of these cases the girls do sincerely love the men. Even here the majority of women will still date a man much older than them though not as frequently as other places.

In most cultures men get more interesting and handsome with age. They can wow women in more and different ways that the young broke guy who might have more looks, but that is it.

You have to remember one important thing here and when you have DHV in these countries it really means something. Much like the USA back in the day part of being a real man was having some dough, the fact that you are the hunter/provider is hot to women. A man with a job and some stability in his life is seen much more attractive. In a place like Colombia choosing a dude based on his muscles or "swag" and not paying attention to if he can feed you might leave you pregnant , broke and sleeping under a bridge.

Agreed - I don't get it.

But to address the question, I am yet to buy into the notion that Colombianas are more attracted to 'older guys'. From the time I spent there, I found it to be even pickings. That said, I wasn't offering long term solutions for them, so maybe that is the difference; girls who are seeking marriage primarily will gravitate toward older men as they are more likely to commit and settle down (in their eyes). There are plenty of University girls though who are happier having fun with young gringos/colombianos who are on the same wavelength.

Unfortunately if the age gap in relationships continue to increase between foreign men and young Colombianas, Colombia is going to garner a reputation as the Philippines of Latin America for everyone in the next 5-10 years as the locals will continue to become suspicious of any single men travelling there. That said, I suppose this has already begun...

I wish I was around to find Colombia in the late 90's-early 2000's. It would of been a riot.

In my experience, it is not that they are more attracted to older men but many of them are open to having relationships with older men. I think it has to do with many of them lacking a father figure.

Also, they see older men as more mature and financially stable. Some of them have told me younger men treat them poorly and are usually "perros". I know older Colombian men are perros too but for some reason they believe or hope they could be less perro than younger ones.

These are the main things Colombian women look for in a guy they want to fuck or marry:

1) Physical strength - She wants a guy that can protect her
2) Status - She wants to know other people respect him
3) Resources - money, intelligence, skills, career, talents, etc.
4) Emotional sensitivity - She wants a guy that listens to her and understands her.

When you start improving yourself and have most or all of the above, you will notice you will attract great quality sincere girls with a genuine interest in you as a person, the type that will cook for you, have great sex with you, and do everything to please you. The problem is she will end up wanting to marry you.

One thing I've noticed is that many gringos in Colombia just throw money around and expect to get great girls. If the only thing you have going on for you is money then you will only attract materialistic girls. I wonder why most gringos complain about Colombianas being gold-diggers.

I'm one person who isn't finding anything you've written about Colombia thus far very useful and I agree with Rionomad for calling you out. So far all I've seen are a couple very pedestrian questions pertaining to Colombia that have been answered many times over in this forum, which leads me to believe that you haven't read Roosh's Colombia book, haven't taken the time to read through the Colombia threads and data sheets and quite frankly, I have my doubts you've ever been here.

But hey, what would I know, I'm a just a silly gringo who only hangs out in estrata 6 hoods and throws money around like a drunken sailor!
