Most young people speak decent English. Don’t worry about it. If you want to learn some it’s difficult to become fluent but not hard to pick up basic phrases.

I have always found that foreign guys including myself out of all places in Poland do best in Warsaw. Warsaw is unique in that it attracts a huge amount of people/girls from all over Poland who are interested to explore something different. The ones who are not interested to explore stay home in their smaller towns or villages.. The reasons that the population of Warsaw is a mixture of people from every single part of Poland are many including the fact that it is a capital city, by far the largest Polish city but also because 70% of its pre World War 2 population was murdered during the war and the city had to be repopulated and had and still has the space for this repopulation. In all other Polish cities the population is much more local. In addition I fell that because the population of Warsaw is a big mixture of Polish people from all over the country the result is very beautiful girls due to lots of Polish blood mixing together! ;-)

I landed a job in Krakow, I have never been to Poland before but I had previously read a bit of this thread in the past and Poland is clearly not recommended anymore.
Should I bother moving there? About me I'm 25 good looking 6'2 average build. I'm doing very well in my Home country and also did well on short trips to Kiev(I speak russian that helped a lot). Also I don't speak polish. Thanks

We have a similar profile (6.2, quite good looking and french britton), I am just older (30)
The main issue is the language... you gonna get approach by hot girls or have strong IoI but girls will lose interest almost instantly if you do not speak the language. Of course I am talking for good looking chicks not the 5s who will be easy to score.

Also beware of french people in Krakow, most of them are low value and unfortunately it will make the job harder for you to get quality.

Here's a possible but totally random BroScience explanation

Polish female height: 165.1 cm (5 ft 5 in)
American (white) female height: 165.0 cm (5 ft 5 in).

Thing is America has a lot of Latinas and other races that even shorter than the white American woman. So a lot of these guys coming to a 99% white country like Poland that has 'tall' woman likely intimidates them.


I suspect Poland and Balkans will never take off with most American / Canadians because western North Americans guys are just short and have mental blocks regarding their height. Like blaming their height for not getting laid when it's probably their slight-autism or their face that's responsible.


Whereas the average height in Russia is more like mainland China and Ukraine's average height seems to rival poor countries in Africa (although height information on Ukrainian is pretty scant and sometimes contradictory. Still I remember Lviv having tiny women and I don't recall seeing that many tall women in Kiev unless they were wearing heels!).

The trend is visible in the real life as well: tons of my friends who previously were living/visiting often Poland, now are either moving out of the country or reducing their gaming time due to the complexity and the massive efforts compared to the outcome.
About the decline, multitude of aspects were mentioned over the last years: chavish girls, tattoos, bad attitudes, flakes, girls not dressing appropriately, boring personalities, fast foods/kebab places everywhere, third world immigration, girls not being able to recognize value of men, girls afraid of men with a solid game, moronic PUAs spam approaching, etc. Aspects getting more evident? What's more appropriate?
Western country: didn't notice any drop and there were no differences in terms of quality.

According to some reports I am getting, Kiev is way better nowadays.

Polish girls also complain a lot about the Ukrainian immigrants, that they don't learn Polish.

A lot of Ukrainians can't speak Ukrainian well even though it's Ukrainian (their national language). How are they gonna go learn Polish?!

Fun trivia fact: centuries of Tsarist and USSR rule pretty much mean everyone east of Lviv is better at Russian than Ukrainian. I even asked the girls I met in Kiev and Zaporozhiya if they could speak it and they pretty much said no. Use of Ukrainian is pretty much limited in real life to city names (so an Ukrainian who only speaks Russian gets irrationally angry if you call Kiev Kiev instead of Kyviv or Zaporozhye instead of Zapoorzhiyia)

I also agree with immoral and Giacomo Casanova. Girls are actually afraid of good game. It's weird. There's something else another poster mentioned a while back: Girls in Poland are jealous of an attractive (game, looks, personality, charm, dress) man. It is a strange thing to say but I noticed it definitely and it has a negative rather than a positive effect.

Everything GC mentioned is absolutely true. Especially of note was the third world immigration. I couldn't believe the number of Indians that are in Poland. A very fat indian approached me when I was walking down a nice main street begging for money!! He was very fat and well dressed.

I have no idea why anyone would go to Poland, especially Warsaw, for girls. It is a cheap place for a holiday but, really, who wants to holiday in that grey city with a people that that have bad attitudes. What a disaster.

I hadn't done Warsaw yet. But I did Lviv and Krakow back to back and Lviv was all around a better experience. Lviv was just cheaper, more beautiful and had a bunch of hotties too but English was fairly weaker I admit.

Apparently Lviv is even better now in terms of English friendliness and more restaurants to eat at.

But Lviv is considered a tough city for PUA or even foreigner dating according to a SM. I kind of avoided that because my homestay there was trying to connect me with local girls.

I agree with Warsaw looking like a big dump city, girls here getting fatter every month, tattoed, Kiev being more attractive place, etc...

So many negative reviews on Poland! Maybe I'm somewhat blinded by my love for the place but I still find it a great place to stay.

I cant believe someone actually said third world immigration is a reason for Poland being in 'decline'. I found that genuinely hilarious. You do see a few Indians here and there in the city centres in Warsaw and Kraków which is to be expected as those are two very international cities but outside of those cities I very rarely see any non whites, especially out of tourist season.
I can count on one hand the amount of Indians/blacks/Asians I saw during 5 weeks in Wrocław a month ago. Wrocław feels more and more like a smaller Kraków every time I go there.
Still haven't noticed any increase in third world immigrants, just more tourists, usually Brits, Germans and Italians.

My opinion is if you're coming mainly for girls stay away from Warsaw and Kraków in particular, Wrocław is very close behind those 2 but still has a little bit of life left in it. I recommend trying somewhere like Katowice. Completely different vibes.

I agree 100% that girls have much easier on dating front in Poland or in western world in general.

Doesn't change my opinion about hypocrisy shown in quoted posts. Never met Giacomo or you, but if in reality he's a stylish and high value guy as he presents himself on the forum he probably seems like a player/harem kind of guy for some/majority of girls he approaches.
So I'm just saying that this "afraid girls who can't recognize high value guy" are actually smart and realistic because they actually recognize value and know what is the deal for them. Just like guys aren't afraid of 30+ years old career/independent women, they just know it's a shitty deal for them.

That is a very low conversion rate Immoral, around how many different girls in those 65 dates? What type of aged girls were you dating? I'm guessing you're an older guy 35+?

I've never found Polish girls to be very materialistic or gold digging types. Even speaking with guys I know in Poland or reading this thread it is pretty rare to hear that you found allot of them to be gold diggers. I'm sure there are some who exist like anywhere in the world though.
