Men have realized the game is rigged and they can't compete so they don't even bother to play. This has happened in Japan already but on a larger scale, the west will catch up eventually.

So what? What if the proportion of men aged 22-30 without a bachelor's degree has dropped significantly in the same period? Need more info to know if there's even a trend. I'm not saying there isn't, but this is lazy use of stats.

Can you blame them?
Food makes them lazy and lowers their testosterone, media hates them (especially if they are white).
Men are meant to build society, be tribal, and take care of their families.

I watched a documentary recently about lions and the similarities are striking.

What's amazing is how short a period of time it's been that the motivation has dropped among men, and how quickly it's taken for the dating market to be so rigged.

I mean, I was in Law school from 07-09. Yes there were some feminist cunts there, but there was motivation for everyone except maybe the bottom 30% of men to go meet girls and do well in life. A lot of people paired up for convenience sake. If you were a decent guy who kept fit and wasn't a social retard, you could have a girlfriend who respected you.

In less than a decade it's turned on its head.
That leaves me to agree with Disco_Volante that things will return to some balance. I mean, who wins today? Both the majority of men and women seem unhappy.

The process seems to be accelerating, I'm not seeing any pendulum swinging back in any way. Even if it does, the women involved will be ten, twenty, thirty years older, there's no making that time back.

For some of the men, there's hope at home due to belonging to certain social groups, and some can also level up and move abroad. By and large, though, for the average man and below, they'll grab a piece of cardboard and write "I need feminism because" in desperate attempts to get pity fucks here and there.

For the women, there will be many spinsters who wish they weren't. Searches for in-vitro fertilization on Google will rise exponentially.

Firstly, why is a lack of men going to university a bad thing? It should be celebrated, if anything the attention should be focused on drastically reducing the numbers of both men and women attending university.

I contribute this skewed dating market to one thing....Social media. An I don't see forms of social media or dating apps going away so I don't see this problem ever correcting itself. (really I wanted to say the internet in general but it made more sense to say social media which is a byproduct of the internet)

But cr33p, the idea of Vaknin was interesting about this, it's a compromise between what you're saying and the regeneration point; social media is a virus, and all viruses that survive are self limiting. He sees it going to 2 camps, 50/50 split of social media users vs objectors.

The way I see it, with institutional confidence at an all time low in the west, and one last market run before the biggest bubble of them all, we have about 7-12 years. I'm not sure that's good or not given my age, but if I do get that much time I'll at least be able to enjoy making it rain cash wise after all this investment I put into my career. I used to read these facts and fantasize about how easy the dating market would be as a high-earning, college educated man. I haven't seen the results play out as I've hoped.

I know a guy, 25 years old, makes around 400k working for one of the top companies in the world. He hasn't gotten laid in almost a year.

It really doesn't matter what the bottom 30%, or even 90% of men are doing when you're referencing the market for young women 7-10. Millions of men like my friend could drop out of the SMP and not make a difference.

In any major city there are plenty of guys available who have everything going for them: looks, finances, status, muscles, social circle, etc. All these guys are available to attractive women at any time.

I also see guys (presumably college educated) offering 4-10k a month to sugar baby 8's. So if you think that there is going to be some sort of "man drought" where women run out of options, think again.

Get to the top or die.

This is the real "traditional" situation no one really talks about. Most of these guys "dropping out" would've simply been killed off in an earlier time trying to get some. If 80% of men dropped out of the SMP, the thirst created by the remaining 20% will not only fill the void, the sight of some men succeeding in an uncompetitive market, will tempt some MGTOWs to break the strike.

The only way is to design the best type of bachelor life, which would attract women into it as a consequence.

Confused about what a NEET actually is. I always thought they were the guys who made over 6 figures and were subsequently awarded with a life of comfort (working from home, less hours, trust fund babies some of them) Now I see that it's an acronym for anyone who's unemployed? How are some of these poor NEETS getting by? Government assistance? Living with their parents? Mooching off parents?

The story above about the guy who makes 400K but hasn't gotten laid in a year hit me hard. I suspect I'd be him if I didn't see an one escort every week. Where is a wage-slave live myself supposed to meet women when he works 50+ hours a week at a corporate office? There's nothing exciting about my day life. Women today flock to the highest bidder. They're not attracted to guys who can only grant them a life that 60K a year salary would grant and I'm far to cynical to go to some coffee meet and greet book club where some social media addicted tinder princess will just hurl subtle insults at me. That's why I throw on Judist Priest and "Breaking the Law".

This was my thought process. The game is indeed rigged. You make any salary below 80K and you're replaceable. To your GF, to your corporate employer etc.... You're a cog in a machine. I was at a cross roads, I had two options. I could give up, shoot myself in the head because I knew deep down the unfairness of the whole system, or I could me a sigma male and maneuver the hierarchy. I did the latter. I'm not gonna be some play by the rules corporate drone and I'm not gonna entirely drop out of society either. Do what you want, because you best believe the elites are breaking all the laws we are meant to follow. If you get caught, deal with the repercussions the best you can and keep on moving forward.
