Why is Models so bad?

There's a big split in the community about this book.
People on 'seddit' for example seem to consider it up there with Homers Iliad in terms of brilliant literature!! It's often said to be the only book on 'game' that you will ever need. I used to dislike models because I wanted to believe that 'game' was the jedi mind trick that lots of writers would have us believe, but the more i've gone out and made approaches over the years, the more I tend to side a little more with M Manson, to be honest. I think that there's a huge number of girls who won't be into you, and no matter what amazing negs and cold reads and lines and 'manipulation' you use, it ain't gonna cut any ice. She still won't wanna bang you.

It could be that there's secret techniques out there that can achieve this that i'm yet to discover (although i'm pretty sure i've read a huge percentage of PUA books fro cover to cover) so i'll have to see! Waiting for 'darknessPUA's' post about 'manipulation' as he seems to very much believe you can somehow manipulate girls into wanting to bang you no matter your looks etc. It's a nice idea, but I just don't think it's reality. I don't even think there exists a single infield out of thousands from supposedly the best PUA's in the world who can 'turn/convert' a girl who was very hostile towards them and maybe just ignored them and started to walk away (which is the reaction lots of us will have when trying to game some stunning teen in a bar). I do love the idea that I can say some secret lines and 'manipulate' her into wanting to bang me, but...ya know....

This thread should be closed or moved to the Newbie Forum. The OP's account is ~3 months old and hasn't amassed any significant rep. He clearly hasn't read much of the forum when he makes statements like, "Modern Game has not been developed to get a girlfriend. If you desire a girlfriend or a good wholesome wife you should not learn Game. "

I Agree, but Badboygamer isn't all bad, I've learned alot from this post nd the other chad one. Actually helped me pull a girl a couple days ago.

However the rep thing is a pretty bad point, I've seen genius post from people with 0-3 reps. LINUX is a mastermind at this I must say.

Badboygamer is be a new, low-rep remember. That being said, he speaks with true passion for the game and he has a logical and pragmatic approach to things that comes through in his posts.
For that reason, I actually look forward to seeing more threads by him.

Conversion is doable, just perhaps not at the extreme hypothetical levels that you bring up. The main advantage of screening, in my opinion, is that you are cutting to the chase and wasting less time, especially if your goal is to just get laid via the numbers game.

It's possible to 'convert' a girl who is initially hostile or indifferent to you - key is to just persist, "own it," and find something that does make her hook (including calming her down if she's hostile), then run things normally from there. Converting a girl who just starts running away screaming because you look straight out of Mordor is another story.

The main satisfaction in converting is in the fact that you're accomplishing something challenging, that you're successfully manipulating the social matrix to your advantage. Screening can sometimes feel like going after low hanging fruit. If you want to get laid with as many bangable girls as possible in a limited amount of time, screen. On the other hand, if you want to go for high quality, relish the challenge, and enjoy the process of refining your technique, work on conversion.

Keep in mind they're not mutually exclusive. You don't have to stick with one strategy. And of course, working on your SMV is something that'll help as well.

I say that a guy should walk upto many girls and say "Hi" a whole bunch of times. As many times as needed until he is able to speak the word confidently. Once this has been accomplished he can focus on speaking a second word. And then another. All the way until finally he is able to get sex and whatnot.

Telling him to go meditate or something does nothing.

And to me that is what Game is ultimately all about. Teaching guys how to "be good" with girls. And sometimes this needs to be done word by word. This also makes Game incredible powerful because it can be teached word by word. It allows guys who previously where unable to even speak to a girl make their dreams come true and bang hotties.

Also, what LINUX is talking about pertains more to guys that are more "naturally" okay with women to begin with.

A total hard-case newbie with crippling social anxiety that will almost faint when approaching a woman will obviously need a little bit more than some feel-good spiritual pep talk. This person will need a step-by-step blueprint; a "how-to" manual of sorts.

But what LINUX is saying is that many men do not need that. If they can embrace their own masculine energy and unapologetically let it show, then they will do just fine. Perhaps easier said than done, but we should not be quick to discredit LINUX and his simplistic methods - as this type of thinking is actually very high-level game-wise - it just isn't properly applicable to a hard case newbie yet.
