They live a boring, nondescript life-which is safe for a woman who prioritizes a LTR. Respect for those women who lock down a beta-herb early in life and can avoid the Instagram nonsense about living and "exciting life" and finding yourself in your 20s.

Thing about this -- these "herbs" are still essentially locking down attractive women and having reasonably good relationships with them. This in my mind is at least as respectable as being a "dark triad alpha" who slays Instagram thots. Maybe they don't elicit the animalistic passion that a legitimate "dark triad alpha" would, but they're still doing completely fine for themselves.

I've noticed a lot of condescencion towards these "herbs" from PUAs and others in the manosphere. At worst, it's jealous sour grapes -- at best, it's just a flawed and insecure perception of how actual sexual dynamics work.

I agree that relative to the pool of women who are routinely trying to hook up or lead a promiscuous YOLO lifestyle, there is a small percent of the male population that actually hooks up with them. But limiting the conversation to this slice of the population is stupid IMO -- since there are millions more people who are in relatively satisfying relationships.

This is purely my subjective understanding of things, but I've seen it play out in every environment I've ever lived in (from liberal big city environments to smaller suburbs). I would say that 20% of the men are actively single and trying to hook up, maybe 60% are in relationships, and maybe another 20% get no action at all. This is a very rough estimate, but it is what I have observed.

I also have an interesting story to share. There's been some discussion on here about how some men are uber-players who have women begging to fuck them. The reality is that more men than you think are actually in this role. I was shooting the shit with two of my coworkers. One was an average-looking white guy, the other an average-looking Indian guy. Both were telling me about how they had girls blowing up their phones, begging to suck them off...it wasn't happening constantly, but they definitely did have some girls who were crazy about them.

Point is, all the "5%" shit that people are discussing here is not limited to some tiny percentage of the population...it's actually pretty accessible and common.

Alpha and beta is also a terrible binary, most people are a little bit of both...I know very few people who cleanly fit into either category. On top of that the definitions for both are hardly set in stone. For some, cheating on their LTR's is "alpha" -- to me and many others, it's not.

All in all, huge parts of the red pill framework are pretty inaccurate. Game is legit, but a lot of the beliefs in the community are not. Guys like LINUX mention this in their posts...it's telling how more experienced guys can generally recognize the bullshit so to speak.

I just took a scroll through my Facebook out of boredom. Scrolled through a couple people I knew from a more blue-collar area pretty close to where I live. I'd disagree with grouping Roosh and Rollo or Tyler Durden and their types. Roosh writes about very practical Game, and he's out and about doing and testing things (admittedly I've mostly read his books and haven't read what he's been writing lately). He's also very honest about what works and what doesn't.

Rollo is 100% theory, sometimes it's interesting to read, most of the time it's dry as hell and probably sounds good but isn't grounded in reality. My Game mentor used to describe Rollo's posts with this Matrix-esque quip "why do my eyes hurt? because you've been reading a Rollo Tomassi's post".

Tyler Durden is 100% marketing. I wouldn't believe any BS he and his mates push.

Game is ultimately a contact sport. You can't just theorize, it gotta be grounded in reality and tested in the field. If your eyes are telling you one thing and the gurus are telling you another, trust your eyes. You can't learn how to box via reading a book and watching youtube videos, you must get in the ring, throw and take the punches.
