What I expect women to do, and what women should actually do, are two very different things. Indeed, the difference between how women should behave and how they actually behave is the basis for game itself.

Actual criminal background check is ridiculous, although in this case it would have saved this girls life.

The point is that women should exercise substantially more care and caution than they actually do in terms of dating and sex. Since they don't, they should be held accountable for the consequences of their risky behavior. This is the only way to incentivize them to behave safely.

You mention the risks that women "should consider", as opposed to the risks they should not. Which is interesting, because as this story shows us, the risks you think they "should consider" don't include risks that ACTUALLY EXIST. It's kind of hard to see you as actually caring about young women, if you want them to disregard a danger that just claimed one young woman's life.

Comparing the chances of dying in a pedestrian hit and run vs. through domestic violence is also just silly. Even if fake feminist statistics overstate partner violence by 10x, it is still a very common and serious problem that women face, whether you like that fact or not. Women are mostly helpless to do anything about this, which is why acting like they are "strong and independent" is so silly, and why they should thoroughly vet men before dating or fucking them.

One thing I really like about Stefan Molyneaux is he often tells his callers in dismay, "Don't you have any friends?" "Where was your father?" "Did you mother give you any advice?"

For this guy to be a murderer and have priors he must have given off a tad more than a "edgy" vibe. He would have full on creeped out her friends or family had anyone had the balls to say anything. There was one - the one who informed her of the criminal background - but there remains the Stefan style of question OR there is a question of how much advice she ignored. How many of her friends said "I don't like that guy." How many of her friends didn't say it in some contrived effort not to be racist.

I'm not blaming the victim or her community of friends. This is an opportunity for people to get off facebook and really interact in real life and when someone JUST ISNT RIGHT say so without hesitation to their friends.

Maybe she could have lived if the warnings had come earlier, more often, or from more people.

Just like the media fooled people using old pics of Trayvon Martin, making it seem like he was much younger and more innocent than he actually was.

Have you ever met a college lineman or running back in person? There are definately 20 something year olds that are built like this. In fact there are body builders under 30 in my gym who are more jacked than this. Dont underestimate what freak genetics or a little bit of juice will do.

As more evidence comes out, it seems like the opposite.

This girl had a pattern of impulsive, risky behavior. She also overestimated her own ability to handle challenging situations and didn't take help that was offered to her.

A more accurate analogy would be she kept playing Russian roulette, then lost.

I guess this is difficult to admit for people in this case because every unpleasant stereotype possible was confirmed. It starkly illustrates the gap between how things "should be", and how they actually are.

Yes but why does a local bouncer have high social proof? Bouncers tend to make minimum wage. Yes, I understand how social proof works (in fact I worked at a bar in uni so I know the deal), but it's not like a bouncer is so high status/high value that we can't expect an educated 21 y/o to be able to see through his bullshit. I knew girls who'd fuck the doormen/bartenders because of their relatively high status/popularity, and these girls tended to be idiots. Well don't you know it's his fault. He didn't verify enough on her background before marrying her. He should have had multiple agencies conduct background investigations of not just her but her family going back 7 generations.
