Sure, some good threads/posts would be left out but at least there would be one place where you could have a high concentration of good threads and posts from the past.

Maybe throw in a rule that you can't include your own threads or posts?

Or we could just bring the old system back with some limitations and be able to access ALL of the good threads/posts of each individual member (rep system = each member has his own mini "hall of fame") instead of just some of them.

I'd love to be able to see a little of what the thread is about by moving the cursor over the title. I've seen this in other forums and its helpful when people don't indicate in the title what the thread is about so you don't have to waste time clicking on the thread to find out.
