Because they can't help themselves. They are desperate. This funeral and Aretha Franklin's funeral was a show of unity amongst the "elites". A show that they are unified against Trump who is the biggest threat to their existence as elites. Their time is coming and deep down they know it. Hence all this unseemly acting out and making these funerals about Trump.

And who are "they?" The ruling class, the deep state, the administrative state, the globalists, plus their hangers on attempting to enrich themselves through politics (like Comey and Mueller and the Clintons have...as well as Senator Mitch McConnell), and the apparatchiks (eg, the gate-keeping media).

("Apparatchik," means anyone "who held any position of bureaucratic or political responsibility" or functionary. The term comes from the Russian, and thus anyone who "was a full-time, professional functionary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union or the Soviet government apparat [аппарат, apparatus]" -Websters)

Think of it: the Billionaire class backed the obvious treasonous criminal Hillary AGAINST Trump by 20 to 1. Always remember that incredible, stupefying fact, and always remind any doubters that the wealthy ruling class are Leftists, backing the Neo-Marxists, whether in education or corporate (Google, Twitter) censorship, or funding Marxist-socialists (eg, Andrew Gillum, "D" for Florida governor, funded by eco-wacko billionaire Tom Steyer and by $19 Billions - already dedicated! - by billionaire George Soros).

The rich fancy themselves as apologetic saviors. I say "Fuck' em all!"

What's this co-ordinated attack about then fellas?

And why over here?

Quote:Trump disapproval at 60 percent in new ABC News/WaPo poll

Does that answer your question?

That poll was one of the worst ones during the election. Wildly inaccurate. Very heavy liberal sampling. This poll also said that 11% of the US wants Jeff Sessions fired and the rest want him to allow the Russia investigation to finish. 80%? Come on.

Fake as fuck news bruv.

I understand all that mate.

What I'm wondering is why the entire British media felt it was headline worthy?

Seemed a bit weird....even if it was true.

The British media used to have some right-wing influence, but no more.

Over at Breitbart, my friend - former Telegraph columnist James Delingpole - did and interview with an author of a series of critical books on UK education, on Brexit, on bad Tory PMs like. David Craig is actually a retired management consultant who writes "for fun," he says. And Craig's new book on the rapid decline of UK university education gained no reviews in the mass media whatever. (You can listen to Craig's interview at Breitbart-London at Dellingpole's interview LINK on the lower right-hand of the page.)

In the second half of the interview, Craig and Dellers commiserate on the fact that there's now only one accepted public narrative: the PC Neo-Marxist one that valorizes whatever victim group Du Jour is in favor in our New Owellian World Order that day. Contrary-wise, the New Good-Think requires the persecution of Bad-Think. And since Trump is one of those powerful Bad-thinkers, questioning - if not challenging - the New Benediction, Trump must be bashed!

They also commiserate on how London newspapers once offered lively debate of issues and genuine critical thinking not many years ago. No longer! For example, the pro-Brexit daily "The Express" got sold to a leftist media conglomerate by it's wealthy Right-leaning owner and has degenerated into uncontroversial conformity like the rest.

Furthermore, the Euro-press in general only know about the view of the US from New York and Washington, DC, and therefore only reflect the same Leftist views. They really don't know what the rest of the US - deplorable or not - think.

An active blogger ("neoneocon" and now the "newneo.com" or something at newly revised blog platform) and sometimes writer at the Weekly Standard, Jean Kaufman, was in Italy (Tuscany and Rome) for a family function this August. She says the cabby in Rome asked her what she thought about Trump?

She dodged the question by saying that greater men than Trump have sat in his cab before her. It was a sorry-assed response (which her readers did not hold her to account for). Kaufman voted against Hiilary, and thus was quite reluctant to support Trump. But she's honestly been pleasantly surprised by the President's strong and effective performance since the election.

If I were Kaufman, I would have said that if you don't watch his rally speeches, one does not know Trump. People who have known him in person for some time, like Sebastian Gorka who was in the White House, say that that's how he is in person - completely transparent. Second, I would have said that the People voted for real change; and that's why the ruling class hates Trump! Therefore, the media simply echo the Ruling Class. And if one relies on them, that's seriously misleading.

Italy has had it's own rebellious and ongoing struggle against the EU-loving ruling class! Their government has changed only months ago because off it. The response that I would have offered is much more effective at cutting through all the propaganda, smears, and lies about Trump, and explains real-world matters clearly to a stranger.

It was a sadly missed opportunity to enlighten an Italian.

Now, to your initial question: "What's this co-ordinated attack?"

I don't know but it could well be. (SEE new my post on the Soros thread for the Media Matter's coordinated de-platforming of the Right since January, 2017.) Or it could just be how the Left media in Europe only reflects the US Left-media.

Back in the Obama years, there was a coordinated and secret list fo journalists, influential authors and academics. It was so obvious that Andrew Breitbart - the founder of Breitbart online - offered a heft reward for the lists release!

It ultimately came out as "Journalist" scandal of 200 such coordinated media-mavens who organized to defend Obama and radical Leftist Obamunism. After that was exposed as a cabal, it broke up but obviously reformed! (Breitbart died from a heart attack, and no offered another reward.) Thus, the "Son-of-Journalist" meme was born.

And since Hillary lose, either "Son-of" continues or was re-doubled by the Apparatchiks, undoubtedly to coordinate a "United Front" as the Marxists used to call it.

You can find a history of "Journolist" scandal at Conservapedia (which retains old Wiki pieces on controversial topics, before Wikipedia defaced and distorted their one-time fairly reliable reference articles).

Victor Davis Hanson chronicled how debased, dangerous and silly the so-called media first became with the inauguration of Trump in January, 2017:

Quote:In just his first month in office, reporters have already peddled dozens of fake news stories designed to discredit the President—to such a degree that little they now write or say can be taken at face value.

No, Trump did not have any plans to invade Mexico, as Buzzfeed and the Associated Press alleged.

No, Trump’s father did not run for Mayor of New York by peddling racist television ads, as reported by Sidney Blumenthal.

No, there were not mass resignations at the State Department in protest of its new leaders, as was reported by the Washington Post.

No, Trump’s attorney did not cut a deal with the Russians in Prague. Nor did Trump indulge in sexual escapades in Moscow. Buzzfeed again peddled those fake news stories.

No, a supposedly racist Trump did not remove the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. from the White House, as a Time Magazine reporter claimed.

No, election results in three states were not altered by hackers or computer criminals to give Trump the election, as implied by New York Magazine....

[T]he election in 2008 of Barack Obama marked a watershed, when a traditionally liberal media abandoned prior pretenses of objectivity and actively promoted the candidacy and presidency of their preferred candidate. The media practically pronounced him god, the smartest man ever to enter the presidency, and capable of creating electric sensations down the legs of reporters. The supposedly hard-hitting press corps asked Obama questions such as, “During these first 100 days, what has …enchanted you the most from serving in this office? Humbled you the most…?”

Obama, as the first African-American president—along with his progressive politics that were to the left of traditional Democratic policies, enraptured reporters who felt disinterested coverage might endanger what otherwise was a rare and perhaps not-to-be-repeated moment.

We are now in a media arena where there are no rules. The New York Times is no longer any more credible than talk radio; CNN—whose reporters have compared Trump to Hitler and gleefully joked about his plane crashing—should be no more believed than a blogger’s website. Buzzfeed has become like the National Inquirer.
SOURCE quoted from Hoover.org at Powerlineblog.com in "The Wages of Fake News" by John Hinderaker: https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2...e-news.php

And now London newspapers and the BBC are scarcely better on Trump than the US media - quell surprise?

Throughout this ridiculous McCain ceremony, my thoughts and prayers were actually and exclusively with the forgotten victims of the USS Forrestal, RIP.

Quote: " Some of those who were on the Forrestal and other persons familiar with the ordnance told me that because the rocket did not hit McCain’s craft, only actions by the pilot could have caused any bomb to fall from McCain’s Skyhawk. These sources—who spoke under the condition that they not be publicly identified—agree with each other that, if any bomb fell from the McCain airplane, it was because of actions that he took either in error or panic upon seeing the fire on the deck or in his hasty exit from the plane. Two switches in the cockpit of a Skyhawk need to be thrown to drop such a bomb, according to the sources.

Whatever the circumstances of the fire’s origins, McCain did not stay on deck to help fight the blaze as the men around him did. With the firefighting crew virtually wiped out, men untrained in fighting fires had to pick up the fire hoses, rescue the wounded or frantically throw bombs and even planes over the ship’s side to prevent further tragedy. McCain left them behind and went down to the hangar-bay level, where he briefly helped crew members heave some bombs overboard. After that, he went to the pilot’s ready room and watched the fire on a television monitor hooked to a camera trained on the deck.

McCain has never been asked to explain why he claims that the Zuni rocket struck his plane. If a bomb or bombs subsequently fell from McCain’s plane as he has said, it seems to strongly suggests pilot error, and if a bomb or bombs did not fall from his plane, it suggests rash disregard for important facts in his accounts of the accident.

There is plenty more about this story that raises questions about McCain’s truthfulness and judgment. In the first hours after the fire, he apparently did not claim to have been injured. New York Times reporter R.W. Apple, who helicoptered out to the ship the day after the tragedy and sought out McCain as the “son and grandson of two noted admirals,” never mentioned him being wounded, although he reported on him more than on any other crew member. This would be an odd omission on Apple’s part if McCain indeed had been wounded, given that service wounds are usually highlighted in such reports "

US military to cancel $300m in Pakistan aid over terror groups

Quote:The US military says it is cancelling $300m (£230m) in aid to Pakistan over what it calls Islamabad's failure to take action against militant groups.

President Donald Trump has previously accused Pakistan of deceiving the US while receiving billions of dollars.

Pentagon spokesman Lt Col Koné Faulkner said the US military would aim to spend the money on other "urgent priorities".

The move, which needs to be approved by US Congress, is part of a broader suspension announced in January.

The US state department has criticised Pakistan, a key ally, for failing to deal with terrorist networks operating on its soil, including the Haqqani network and the Afghan Taliban.

"We continue to press Pakistan to indiscriminately target all terrorist groups," Col Faulkner said in a statement on Saturday, adding that the $300m aid - which had earlier been suspended - should be used elsewhere due to "a lack of Pakistani decisive actions" in tackling the issue.

The announcement comes just days before US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is due to visit Pakistan to meet the country's new prime minister, Imran Khan.

In January, the US government announced it was cutting almost all security aid to the country.

The US and others have long complained that Pakistan provides a safe haven to militant networks, allowing them to carry out cross-border attacks in Afghanistan - something that Islamabad denies.

Separately on Friday, the US said it was ending all funding for the UN's Palestinian refugee agency - the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (Unrwa) - which it described as "irredeemably flawed".

Who are the militants Pakistan is alleged to support?

The Haqqani network is a militant group that focuses most of its activities on neighbouring Afghanistan, which has complained for years that Pakistan allows it to operate unimpeded from its soil across the border.

The group is linked to the Afghan Taliban - a hardline Islamic movement that poses a major threat to the Afghan government. Pakistani Taliban groups, while associated with the Afghan Taliban, focus on attacks within Pakistan.

Both the Haqqani Network and the Afghan Taliban have launched attacks in Afghanistan that have killed US forces, and US officials have long argued that Pakistan, and specifically its ISI intelligence service, provides safe havens to them.

Why would Pakistan support them?

Pakistan has long been accused of using the Afghan Taliban to further its foreign policy interests in the country. The ISI first became involved in funding and training militants in Afghanistan after the Soviet invasion in 1979.

Although since 2001 Pakistan has allowed its territory to be used to supply international troops during the war in Afghanistan, and co-operated with the West in fighting some terrorists groups like al-Qaeda, analysts say it has continued to give shelter and support to Afghan insurgents.

Its aim has been to limit the influence in Afghanistan of its chief regional rival, India.

Edit. Randy Quaid isn't crazy after all. Since Trump got elected, he's looking healthy and better especially considering the amount of weight he lost (50 lbs via Keto diet). Randy is obviously a rabid Trump/MAGA supporter who really wants to see the President bring down the entire Hollywood, MSM, the Cabal, etc.

He's having a blast making short video clips related to Trump's tweets:

He also tweeted something more personal:

It's much more likely that Barry ordered Breitbart terminated, than "the Russians" would be spraying forgotten nobodies with cold-war stuff in London or some.

I mean, if I were the new head of the CIA, I would look into the matter of Obama-approved executions with some acute interest. Just my two cents Blush

Looks like Canada just got a "nudge" in social media speak...

President Donald Trump on Saturday took aim at unfair trade practices in a series of tweets after the U.S. and Canada failed to reach Friday’s deadline to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
https://www.breitbart.com/economics/2018...bad-deals/

“Remember, NAFTA was one of the WORST Trade Deals ever made. The U.S. lost thousands of businesses and millions of jobs,” President Trump wrote. “We were far better off before NAFTA – should never have been signed. Even the Vat Tax was not accounted for. We make new deal or go back to pre-NAFTA!”

“We shouldn’t have to buy our friends with bad Trade Deals and Free Military Protection!” the president wrote moments later.

Thud heard across Oh Canada as CiC Trump drops the Mic.

I'm one of those who has switched off from following the day-to-day. It's quite possible there will never be the perp walks we want, and the war with the deep state will never make it into the public consciousness or mainstream history books. However, the game is Trump's survival and whether he can fulfill enough of his agenda to be considered a success on his terms. And right now, it's all about the mid-terms. Anything Mueller and Trump have up their sleeves will be timed for an October surprise (broadly speaking - it might just be September) so just hold tight.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

From ICE website
Quote:ICE arrests 364 criminal aliens and immigration violators in 30-day enforcement surge in 6 Midwestern states

CHICAGO — Federal officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested 364 criminal aliens and immigration violators in six Midwest states during a 30-day enforcement action, which ended Friday.

During this operation, ERO deportation officers made arrests in the following states: Illinois (134), Indiana (52), Kansas (43), Kentucky (60), Missouri (42) and Wisconsin (33). Of the 364 arrested, 187 had criminal convictions. Eighteen women and 346 men were arrested.

Aliens arrested during this operation are from the following 25 countries: Belarus (1), Bosnia-Herzegovina (1), Burma (1), Colombia (1), Czech Republic (2), Dominican Republic (1), Ecuador (2), El Salvador (2), Germany (1), Guatemala (54), Guinea (1), Haiti (1), Honduras (40), India (6), Jordan (1), Lithuania (1), Mexico (236), Moldova (1), Nicaragua (1), Nigeria (3), Peru (2), Poland (1), Romania (1), Saudi Arabia (1) and Ukraine (2).

More than half of the aliens arrested by ERO deportation officers during this operation had prior criminal histories that included convictions for the following crimes: assault, attempted murder, burglary, child neglect, child sexual exploitation, domestic violence, driving under the influence, drug possession, drug trafficking, fraud, hit and run, identity theft, illegal re-entry after deportation, indecent liberty with a minor, money laundering, obstructing justice, obstructing police, perjury prostitution, rape, sexual assault, theft, trespassing, and weapon offenses.

Seventy-one of those arrested were immigration fugitives; 97 others illegally re-entered the United States after having been previously deported, which is a felony. Depending on an alien’s criminality, an alien who re-enters the United States after having been previously deported commits a felony punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison, if convicted.

Following are criminal summaries of six offenders arrested in the ICE Chicago area of responsibility during this operation:

July 24: ICE arrested a 46-year-old Mexican man in Wood Dale, Illinois. He is a convicted felon for attempted murder. He remains in ICE custody pending his removal.
July 26: ICE arrested a 27-year-old Honduran man in Independence, Missouri. Earlier this year, he was convicted of domestic assault. He also is a convicted burglar. He remains in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
July 27, ICE arrested a 37-year-old Mexican man in Bardstown, Kentucky. He is a convicted felon for rape and was previously removed; he later illegally re-entered the U.S.
July 30: ICE arrested a 25-year-old man from India in Champaign, Illinois. He was convicted of criminal sexual abuse on July 30. He remains in ICE custody pending his removal.
Aug. 6: ICE arrested a 25-year-old Honduran man in Indianapolis. He is a convicted felon for rape. He remains in ICE custody pending his removal.
Aug. 15: ICE arrested an 18-year-old Honduran man in Indianapolis. He is wanted in Louisiana for child rape charges. He remains in ICE custody pending his extradition to Louisiana.
Aug. 22: ICE arrested a 26-year-old Guatemalan man in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He was arrested earlier this month for distributing child pornography. He remains in ICE custody pending his removal.

The Chicago area of responsibility includes the six states of Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri and Wisconsin.
“This operation targeted criminal aliens, public safety threats, and individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws,” said Ricardo Wong, field office director for ICE ERO Chicago. “Operations like this reflect the vital work our ERO officers do every day to protect our communities, uphold public safety and protect the integrity of our immigration laws. We will continue to devote the full efforts of our agency to protecting citizens and enforcing federal immigration law. Communities are safer today because of the hard work done by the men and women of ERO.”

All of the targets in this operation were amenable to arrest and removal under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act.

ICE deportation officers carry out targeted enforcement operations daily nationwide as part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to protect the nation, uphold public safety, and protect the integrity of our immigration laws and border controls.

These operations involve existing and established Fugitive Operations Teams.

During targeted enforcement operations, ICE officers frequently encounter other aliens illegally present in the United States. These aliens are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and, when appropriate, they are arrested by ICE officers.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
You should hear the radio:

McCain got captured while some people (Trump) were living in luxury.

The comedy writes itself. This is what really should have gone down at his eulogy:

For the ignorant, McCain is a failed soldier who finished near dead last in military school and comes from a line of a traitorous military patriarchy. Getting shot down is a mark of his incompetency and that's the equivalent of a boat captain deciding to chug a case of Jagermeisters and crashing into a field of rocks. Rather than calling the idiots out you miraculously are lionized as a brave war hero/boat captain for beating the odds. His death is only being used to harass Trump. Michael Tracy couldn't have said it any better "McCain Holy Week." There's even some speculation that McCain was transported to Gitmo for punishment or that he committed suicide. Regardless, John McCain led a pathetic life and we hope that there's no wall or dang fence in his cemetery so that his opponents can piss on his grave for the remainder of the Trumpenreich.

At this point any liberals that have bashed Bush (looking at you Michael Moore) have to stop and think and maybe contemplate registering as independents. Then again cognitive decline is common with aging.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
I agree, I'm more in the camp of "official" deaths listed and softer methods like pulling Brennan's security clearance. The public simply isn't ready to see what's really going on and in a perfect world there would be mass hangings and perp walks. Maybe McCain actually is in Gitmo and being tortured. Maybe that would explain his daughter's seething rage at Trump. I think the war on the deep state has been happening, especially ever since that EO citing human rights violators will have their assets seized.

Or Trump is with "them" and McCain is in some elite island enjoying anti aging technology for being a member of the depraved. Who knows? All we can do is live our lives to the fullest. Maybe we and our children are doomed to living our lives as slaves. I'm just batting this idea around, I'm still in the camp of the deep state is getting their just desserts behind the scenes.

What are you talking about? The dollar has been getting stronger. I certainly enjoyed the extra money when doing exchanges the past few months.

The government should stop paying foreign aide and put it into a grant program for college tuition. That knocks the legs out from under most of the Bernie Sanders babies' free college demands. Ha!
