I think this is the main difference between conservatives and liberals, and how I know that instinctually I am the former and not the latter. I don’t agree with all conservative viewpoints and often don’t have much of an opinion on some things that seem to rile up others, but when I see a story like this and read quotes, from grown up adults, about how everyone is really good and nice deep down and that evil doesn’t exist and is a construct, I get a visceral reaction and a small sense of satisfaction when something bad happens to these knuckleheads.

Evil doesn’t exist? Did this person go to school? Do they ever pick up a newspaper? Where did they grow up? I work in a city where murder is so common it barely makes the front page anymore. Where you can’t walk into certain neighborhoods or else you will quite literally be hunted as prey and likely killed, resulting in a small blurb on the bottom of page 10 under the heading “And in other local news...”

Evil is all around us, everywhere. Not only does it exist but I am of the opinion that it is the default setting for humans. I’m a fan of Jared Diamond, and in “Guns, Germs and Steel” he draws comparisons between the rise of civilizations and the hunter-gatherers he lived with while in Southeast Asia as a grad student. He described an encounter he witnessed between two men of different tribes who happened to meet in the jungle but then spent a long time talking, trying to find it if they knew people in common or had some sort of connection, in order to develop even a tiny thread of trust otherwise they would be forced to fight each other. Because THAT is the default, not hugs and flowers and birkenstocks and organic produce.

In my opinion, the threat of death at the hands of other people (in addition to diseases and the unforgiving environment) is probably the reason why we have this mutual agreement to live together and form a government and establish rules and build an infrastructure in the first place. Because as much as we hate each other, it’s preferable to constant tribal warfare. And in the absence of these things, we revert to our default setting, which is shoot first and ask questions later.

I ask myself “how can these people be so stupid?” and the answer is always “willful ignorance.” They have to be purposely blind, they have to go to great efforts to compartmentalize and ignore the obvious, in order to maintain their world view. Lefties do it all the time, which is why I could never be one. They constantly claim otherwise but they hate the truth, particularly the etched-in-stone-undeniable truths of nature that we encounter every day. It’s one thing to lie to people, but quite another to so blantanlty deceive yourself to such an extreme.

This perspective dominates contemporary culture, and is taken for granted even at the highest level. When Barack Obama and John Kerry entered into negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, they were working upon the assumption that it was wrong to think that people “are not to be trusted” and that “people are evil.” Obama and Kerry were essentially embracing the idea that “evil is a make-believe concept.” That the mullahs were perhaps “self-interested sometimes, myopic sometimes,” but ultimately good-hearted. The Leftist intelligentsia was and still is unanimous in applauding that initiative.

Likewise, it is a matter of dogmatic certainty for the Left that Islam is a religion of peace, and that only racist, bigoted “Islamophobes” think otherwise. This is absolutely true. I know some people here complain about the lack of sympathy regarding the fate of the cyclists, but I think that’s missing the point.

These people put themselves directly in harms way (regardless of what the state department says about traveling in that country), because of an unrealistic, unscientific, corrupt, politically motivated and ultimately baseless philosophy. A philosophy directly advocated by authority figures in academia and the government, who are the ones responsible for their deaths.

Of course those things can change over time, but a wise man calculates his chances with each endeavor. Travel, bangs - certainly marriages have to be put on a risk-reward ratio.

What the couple did was the equivalent of an 80yo rich Gamma male marrying a 21yo woman whose last 2 husbands died mysterious deaths. If the woman had been biking alone through Marocco and Egypt, then she would likely already be dead. They were safer as a couple until they met a more believing Islamic group of men.

This could have happened to them in some areas in Egypt or Lebanon - nothing special about it.

It's really funny if you think about it that the average liberal woman is being told lies about mostly harmless things:

+ rape culture in colleges - especially White frat boys

One of my rules is that, if you're going to put yourself under my protection, then I expect you to follow orders immediately and without question. Thinks can escalate faster than most people realize, and few have developed the instincts for this. Most of the time with North Americans, they'll freeze up - wait for the authorities to deal with things, try not to escalate by admitting that the surface friendliness is gone - they don't trust their own instincts anymore, they instead trust their socialized training.

But if that's the case, then don't put yourself under my protection. Get off the back of my motorcycle, and call an Uber. Because now you're just going to get both of us killed.

Long ago, when I was in a relationship based on equality (yeah, I know), and I didn't even really know the woman was under my protection or that I expected her to follow my rules (because equality), she did something really stupid while we were travelling which could have been dangerous to not only to us, but her kids. She explained what she had done, trying to downplay it, and I repeated it back in horror, knowing I would have to act immediately to remedy it. She started in on trying to make it my fault (But you said. . . .) and I did something I had never done before in our gender equal relationship.

I held up one finger, said "Just stop!" and ran off to make it better.

Like you say, people, women especially, have no instincts for the sudden onset of a risky situation, and in my example, she just wanted to continue on with our normal comfortable-couple-back-and-forth as if our own little personal reality could still be treated as if it were all the reality that mattered.

You guys would have laughed at me back then, bending over backward to be fair, and to give females the chances they never had, to downgrade myself.

Funny though, that when something serious suddenly happens, even a beta like I was at the time, has it within himself to suddenly trust his own intuitions and perceptions, and shut down the female bullshit instantly in order to focus on the matter at hand.

I was surprised at myself after it happened. Wondering who that man was and where he came from.

Me personally I extend this to giving advice if people want my expertise on certain topics. For example, I've been in the food industry for nearly 7 years and seen nearly everything. I personally will tell you that going to culinary school is overrated and will merely teach you how to talk the talk. If you want to walk the walk it's all in your hands in this day and age. I will point blank tell you when I do something I go for it all and I don't get insecure if you rise up with me. I have contact with experts in various fields and I'll shoot the shit with them but if I were to get into their field I would dive in and do everything they ask. It's not being bossy or being a little pushover.

General rule of thumb if people can't follow basic tasks or orders fuck them. Let them make those hard mistakes, let them marry the hussy that will divorce rape them, etc. If you ignore the history of Islam, ignore government warnings to not visit certain areas, and listen to a whitewashed bastardized version of what the media is selling you then you deserve to get what this stupid couple got. PERIOD. I'm shocked they weren't sold as sex slaves. When people wonder why I'm so heartless I don't even bother explaining.

I think it was one of her family who got into trouble with the enrichers. He probably did not start it, but you have to be careful around them.

I am not condemning her for trying to go in between. But she erroneously assumed that the old rules of masculine conflict apply:

+ a woman can separate men without getting stabbed or beaten to a pulp in between
+ violence is reciprocated with adequate violence - when you say a word, you don't escalate instantly to a knife

Knowing that then she should have looked for a weapon or screamed for help.

Also her behavior during the court clearly clearly shows that she wanted to get some kind of remorse and explanation from him. When she heard that he did not regret anything, that he even called this behavior sanctioned by Islam, that is when her entire worldview was crushed.

And that is when the pic likely got taken - you see a woman's progressive liberal views getting crushed publicly in that very moment.

Merkel was only the last step along the way - you would have to blame the entire mass media, the schemers and the manipulators. And yes - there is somewhat of a responsibility on her front for believing it all, for suckling up all that crud - that we are all equal, that all religions and cultures are equal, that all races are equal.

Any conflict - even the most harmless ones with Muslims - can escalate into a deadly one. In Poland 2 Muslim kebab shop employees killed a Polish boy for grabbing a can of coca cola and running away. They ran after him and killed him with the kebab knife. That is the Muslim way of conflict resolution.

Now she knows and now the Millennial couple knows.

And it does not mean that I don't have sympathy for the woman just as I have sympathy for the couple. At least their delusions were ones of peace. The 17yo shithead? I would have him publicly impaled for days. He will do much worse than that in his new wonderful homecountry of Germany.

Happened in an idyllic part of town.

The story is even worse and both of them were careless. She (a cashier at a local supermarket) and her boyfriend were using discipline on a 13yo and a 14yo rapefugee because they started to loudly dispute in a supermarket. Her boyfriend seems to have even pulled one boy's ear. The boys went off, but obviously felt insulted.

First major error - they treated them like they would treat boisterous German boys.

The boys went off and returned with an older more aggressive 17yo relative - that led to some pushing and a quick knife attack. The girl tried to separate her boyfriend from the attacker.

No offense, but literally no one of us would likely attempt anything like that. Honor is a major theme for them and this would have had repercussions. If you start trouble with them then be prepared for the worst - even the first interaction with the 2 boys was unnecessary.

Roosh recently told a story where he went to a yoga session at a park and berated a bunch of pot smoking rap-hearing youths - that they should go away. And of course they did, because that is Poland. Doing the same with a bunch of German enrichers would not have been advisable.

Most of the time when one of them got aggressive with me I watched him and then walked off. There is no reason to escalate things so long as they don't touch or hurt me or the people around me.

When I read the story of how she wanted to ask her attacker, then I knew that she still did not understand the reality. Now she will have to live with a severely impacted health for life.

My heart goes out to those people who are sacrificed on the altar of a fake utopia. That mutlicultural utopia with a large Muslim and African population in Europe simply won't work - there will be war later on. Merkel is of course largely responsible for it, but it all depends which powerstructure of our world you think is the most likely. In mine she is just a lower-mid-tier minion who was given marching orders by her handlers. It's over-reported and it usually involves wealthy locals and not tourists. In the Philippines it's of course Muslims again.

Even when you assume 500-5000 kidnappings in areas of 100 mio. people, then it pales to the danger waiting for you in Muslim countries.

1.5 mio. of Merkel's children committed 200.000-250.000 crimes with many violent crimes rising by hundreds of percent in the country. I doubt that inviting 1.5 mio. South Americans would produce such staggering crime stats.
