Does that still exist (BP?). I know No.6 used to talk about it, he's very astute regarding such apps or social media's/dating associations rise and fall.

Seems like IG is the only way to trick your way into it, and that takes time and effort, but at least it's not a filtering and transactional thing like most of the other sites that allow one to flip the script.

I haven't been on the forum in a while. I've had a bit of a health crisis that is being compounded by the fact that I am in Canada just now. However, I wanted to get on the forum and try to catch up on a few threads and PMs I had going. To that end, a quick update.

Despite recent health issue, I have continued my experiment in online dating. I am at about "Experiment 1.5" right now. I haven't been able to sign up for all the sites I wanted to just yet, but I will.

For now, I will provide a few anecdotes related to my first batch experiment.

First, I know there is a whole spectrum of, let's say, ethical beliefs on RVF. So, this might resonate with some of you and fall on deaf ears with others. I am having a bit of an ethical concern with some of the relationship game I ran during the first round. Many (many!) of the girls I was running relationship game have kept in contact. When I have attempted to let it fizzle out, that seems to just cause them to up the pursuing. I'm not much for ghosting, so I know I am eventually going to have to "Dear Jane" a few of these girls and I get the distinct impression that I am going to mess some of them up. I am in the camp of not doing too much damage to the young/virginal/wife-material girls. They are so rare in the wild that it is unfair to cull them. Anyway, that's just my two cents on that. In the future, I am going to be more careful with letting things go on too long with that sort of girl.

Second, I found a real solid girl in the OKC doctor from California. I won't get too specific here. But, I recently fell very ill (I may write a post about my experience in the Canadian healthcare system, but I have about seven half-written posts, so we'll see). I was texting back and forth with this girl and she was begging me to come back and visit her. I told her I was in the hospital in City X and, when she didn't believe me, I FaceTimed with her (from my actual hospital bed). I explained what was going on and that I was in the city by myself. She asked exactly what hospital I was in and then told me she would be in touch. Long story short, I wake up the next morning, and guess who has shown up at the hospital? To put it in context, she took vacation from her job and jumped on a plane to a foreign country to take care of me. I didn't ask for it. I didn't, in any way, indicate that I needed or wanted help. She has been driving around the city and taking me to all my medical appointments and picking up medication and the rest of it. Unless this girl is running some "The Americans" I'm actually a KGB Agent level of game on me, I think I found a quasi-unicorn. I will report back in the future on that one. I first have to assess exactly what her angle is in this sort-of relationship.

Finally, I am thinking of drafting a list to be included in my next instalment of online red flags. I think they are somewhat different to the red flags you get when talking to a woman in real life. Also, the online girls often give away good intel in their photos (I don't think enough guys pay attention to this). As an example of what I am talking about. I have found that girls that have a CrossFit shot in their pictures throw down a big red flag for me. Having interacted with (at this point) several hundred (maybe more) women from online dating sites, I have found that displays of more traditionally masculine hobbies indicates a no-go girl for me. I have a few friends who have pointed out the "sweet ass" on this girl or that girl who has a squat shot on her profile. But, in almost all cases, I get an Ottavia Bourdain vibe from these girls. Boxing, hunting or shooting, ditto. I talk to a lot of game-aware guys who do online, and many seem to think that if a girl has a picture of her hunting with her dad that means she's some type of old school traditionalist. I have found the opposite. Girls that know the best place to buy a power rack in their city, or how to handle a Ruger Penny-Pincher often aren't traditionalist/conservative in any applied way. They are far more likely to want to down half a case of Molson and "compare numbers" - hint, she's going to win. I also have developed an aversion to pursuing relationships with women in certain professions that I never gave a second thought to before (massage therapists, for example). All of this is coming from "in the field" experience, so I will have to sit down and write out my thoughts to see if they make any sense.

And on that note, I will close it out. Sorry if this post is rambling or full of spelling errors. I am fairly highly medicated at the moment and the words are sort of dancing around on the page. You seem like a real stand-up dude & I applaud you for being so candid. I experienced a minor health issue (did get quite painful for a bit) that took me outta commission from the game for about 3 or 4 months or so at the tail end of last year & the start of this year. I know the feeling. Only two things in life seem to be certain. Death & taxes. Keep fighting the good fight my man!

No shit. She was far from ugly. As I said, probably a 6.5. And, due to personal attributes I find attractive, I would bump her up a bit (with her accent, but that is just my personal measure). The issue was - I also have a pretty good academic pedigree and I think she assumed that I was "in the club". So, we were bantering back and forth and she was very verbally socially attuned. But, she kept dropping these hardcore feminist "truths" as if I should just accept them. Even when I pushed back just a bit, she would insist that the next time I was over she was going to take me to a meeting of her feminist reading group, etc, etc. Another major red flag came up out of nowhere. She told me she was a virgin, but ready to lose it. She was in her early-mid twenties, so that isn't a major red flag (specifically for a very high-IQ girl, which she definitely was). But then, she later went on to start telling me about how she doesn't like touching doorknobs and she can't sleep anywhere but the bed in her childhood bedroom. That was when I "noped" out of there.

I was willing to give her a chance, considering the background and other (what I thought were) mitigating factors. But, it just goes to show you (as I was well aware, having worked in academia) that high-IQ and excellent education do not, necessarily produce a functioning person.

Thanks for the follow-up post on the dating app results. You have a nice diplomatic way of putting things. Regarding your hardcore relationship girls, have you discussed your Tiger affiliation with them? If so, I think a certain set of girls will go all in to get an Ivy League guy, to the extent that for them it's better than a 6 figure net worth is for others. So it's better not to advertise that too much unless you want to deal with these sorts of issues. Sure you will have to work harder, but that's part of the game and if its true that the attributes without reflect the qualities within, you already will have a certain advantage.

As for me, I recently matched with a high level HB Russian on Tinder who wanted me to take the personality test on 16personalities.com before she would meet me (I told the story of the first one who asked me to take that test in another thread). This new one sent me a 10 smiley reply when she got my personality results and asked me what my favorite champagne was. That reminded me too much of the HB8 Russian who asked me to take the same test then tried to get me to buy a bottle of 300euro champagne from a suspicious delivery app, so I decided to find out if this one was for real. Did some textual cave man on her and then when she stopped replying I told about the first girl, then she deleted me. Has anybody else had a request from Tinder to do the 16personalities.com test?

Any online dating lead that tries to send you to a 3rd party site like that is an almost guaranteed bot/spammer. If they're not, I'd still treat it as such because they should know better than to raise an obvious red flag.

It's ok to get a facebook share to take a personality test from someone already on your friends list, but not on a dating site.

My first personality test girl from Tinder actually met me and she was the HB in the photos. But she asked for ridiculous things. So I when I got the 2nd one following a similar path I didn't want to meet her and I started to think that maybe there is some Russian Tinder tips site that tells girls what to do if they want guys to buy them stuff (i.e. Ask them to do the personality test and then tells them which personalities to choose).

- Install auto page refresh for chrome and refresh the site every 5 min's so you'll always be online and top of the tree.
- Install an autoclicker , i basically liked every single girl on one site once , but fuck me that back fired as you deal with all the interest from a barrage of 4's and 5's !

I got so fed up on online dating I activated the above and let the girls come to me ... It's still pretty soul destroying though..
Social circle game is by far the best , but as you get older your options decrease rapidly as people get paired off and less people enter your circle

I'm not getting a bunny boiler vibe from her, and I have been digging deep. I can't figure her out, but I have an operating theory at this point. I think the reason I can't get a read on her is because she is unique. She is very unique to my experience from California chicks. Then again, she isn't originally from there.

Back when I was working almost exclusively in universities, I encountered a lot of graduate students, PhDs, and Postdocs. It was not uncommon to meet women in these positions who were "different" from other girls their age. Specifically in what I deem real disciplines, girls who are completing a PhD tend to have their shit together in a way that most twentysomethings do not. This girl seems to fit that type. The only difference is she is hot. Most academic girls are mousy.

But, I am playing it close to the vest right now. I want to feel her out some more to see if I can pull out any crazy (more than usual) vibes from her. So far, so good.

I flipped a coin on Eharmony vs. Match. I landed on Match. Out of the sites I ended up using, Match was the biggest loser for the money. Definitely going to incorporate some automation in to my online game going forwards. Now that I have a handle on how to set up a top-level profile and the like, I am leaning towards the "let the girls come to me" approach.

I hear you on the social circle game. I have been working on that for a few years. Fortunately, I travel a lot and I have maintained status on a few campuses that I used to work on. So, it isn't difficult for me to slide in to the 22-28 crowd on campus. But, I don't know how much longer I have that access available to me. Also, the girls I like for relationships tend to be the kind that marry off earlier. No 30+ career girls for Tiger Man. Been there. Done that. I am definitely feeling the people getting paired off and leaving the circle thing. I've actually had a few friends get married recently, out of the blue. Like, a guy and a girl I know decided they didn't want to not be married I guess. It's an odd thing. But, my beard hasn't starting going grey yet, so all is not lost.

I gave eHarmony a quick spin. And I mean quick - like, an hour or so. The initial questionnaire unnerved me, since it was so strikingly reminiscent of one of those brassring sites that host those job application screenings. Once I made it on through to an actual profile, I found that the whole format is not for me at all. As opposed to your traditional dating site, by where you can browse through a 'library' of available profiles, at will, eHarmony utilizes your submitted info to, I guess, 'assign' you a roster of matches it deems to be appropriate, on a daily basis I think it said it would be. And so, I got this tiny group of, like, 5 profiles, stretched out over a 50-mile radius, and they all looked horrible. That's it. That's all I would be permitted to fuck with.

I promptly called my credit card company and told 'em that . . . uh, this surely must've been a scam purchase, and thusly, didn't have to pay for it. Jesus.
