Tl;Dr in bold

Shaking their asses in their tight dresses, their makeup done up just right, the women in the clubs draw me in. The problem is, that's the only reason I go.

Nearly all of my 24 lays have come from women I met in person not at a nightclub or bar. I don't just suck at game outright, but I am unskilled at night game.

I'm too goal driven when I'm there and the result is that I approach too many women too quickly sometimes causing me to be seen as "That Guy", but if I'm not approaching women then why the fuck am I there? During the day I make sure I'm out of sight from everyone who saw me make the previous approach before doing another, but at a club this isn't an option. Another result is that I don't go out to the clubs often.

If I could follow my friends advice to just have a good time, I would have a reason to be at the club other than to meet women, I would approach less often without feeling like I'm there for nothing, I'd go out to the club more often and get more practice, and I'd actually have a better time.

The girls at the clubs are much easier to touch and kiss within a short period of time by comparison, but the generally rude behavior and much harsher rejections compared to other environments cause me to dislike being there. I actually like a lot of the music there but it hinders communication making it more difficult to run verbal game. I'm starting to feel like most of night game is just boldly making physical moves and smiling after saying hello and reading body language, and hoping she responds well to my physical appearance, presence, and boldness.

Other guys competing for the same women, her friends taking her attention away from me, cockblocking, night game is hard.

I don't drink because I'm stupid when I'm drunk, I don't moderate how much I drink well after I start drinking, it effects me the next day, and being drunk really isn't that great. I can hear my friends advice in my head now that I should chill out about why I'm going out and should have a drink haha. But I'm not going to drink.

still, I don't want to ignore night game, I want to better my skill as a player, not pass up this valuable resource of women.

How do enjoy yourself at the club other than meeting women? What are your tips for me so that I can enjoy my time at the club too?

A lot of that depends on who you're rolling with. I find that night game is only fun if I'm rolling with a solid group of friends. I always think back to my time in NYC with Clint Barton, Spider, Slubu and co in order to remember what the right group of guys can do to help an environment suddenly become fun.

the Truth : going to clubs does suck outside of the opportunity to get laid. I only found it fun very early on when I first reached legal drinking age and it was novelty. Standing in an overly crowded space where you can barely hear the person next to you talk because music is so loud isn't fun.

Clubs are designed for women's enjoyment and most men only really go for the opportunity to meet women.

I don't know what it's like where you live but I would try a more casual bar as opposed to a club. A setting more conducive to socializing is going to be fun, but the tradeoff being women aren't usually as hot.

You sound (and probably appear) too wound up.

Go to a venue that suits your style and one where you enjoy the music and the vibe. Go with a friend/group of friends (preferably mixed M/F) you like spending time with - they'll help you chill out and have fun regardless of your outcome with girls. If you feel relaxed it'll be easier to enjoy yourself.

Once you're more relaxed you'll have an easier time noticing which girls are giving you solid eye contact (1-2 seconds sustained), or smiling at you, or constantly glancing at you (this should always happen if you picked the right venue); then go approach interested girls. Since she already likes you, as long as you don't screw it up she'll work with you to have a positive interaction.

Two things that come to me...

1. Who you go with - This is the major one, I've done plenty of sober clubbing and to be honest it's mostly about enjoying your mates doing stupid shit and enjoying other people doing similar. It's basically just stepping back and treating the club scene as the grand comedy that it really is. If you don't enjoy this type of silly humour then you're going to struggle regardless.

2. Where you go - Sounds like you're going to massive doof doof clubs that destroy any chance of communication and that the majority of your game is based on talk. I don't know where you are but maybe target beach clubs that have a way more chilled environment in general, pool clubs can be similar if well designed or just go to lounge bars rather than clubs in the first place.

Only other thing is you're obviously approaching too many times if you're becoming "that guy", I haven't been to many clubs where there are more than a half dozen targets and generally half of them will be in one group making approaching more than one of them very difficult, sounds like you've got low standards in the club and it's making you just approach everything instead of making quality approaches, especially given you think it's basically all appearance that gets it done. A lot of night game is analysis of the scenario and finding a decent target before approaching, sure if you're good looking you can play the numbers game but if you want to be consistently successful you need to pick the right targets and make the right approach.

Enjoy the whole experience. Feel the music and move to it. Nobody cares if you suck as long as you go for it and own it. Meet with good friends. Talk to chicks but don't make them a focus. Be a guy that's there for a good time.

I'd say a drink or two would help get you the vibe you want. Clubs are high-energy venues, so, to succeed, you need to run exaggerated clown game on wasted girls, not nuanced wordplay game. If you can't become a dancing monkey without a drink or two, think about your venue choice.

The so called "clubs" (what a degradation of a word) are for women. As a man you go in there to get a girl and then eject with her to bedroom period.

Girls are getting fun in clubs because they get attention there.

The notion that clubs are "for fun" to men exists for two purposes:

1)To give plausible deniability to women why men are there other then finding a female to fuck.
2)To give excuses for most men (who have bad game) to themselves why they return home empty handed more often then not.

Actually only the 2nd one is true - most girls are smart enough to know that the first one is false, but they pretend to not know because they like hapless men hanging out there and giving them attention.

If you don't have fun in clubs then you are a sane person living in these insane times. Don't lose that to fit in.

If you have "friends" who are going to a club to have fun and not pick up girls - ditch them - they are only cockblocking you. Befriend people who have similar goals to you. Assuming your goals are about self-improvement of course. Don't hang out with losers or you will become one.

If you want to hang out with your bros there are better places to that - like gym, fishing trip, helping each other repair cars in garage or simply taking a walk. You don't need any fancy consumerist crap you are programmed to need to interact with people. You don't need a club, you don't even need a restaurant and you don't need to order anything.
