Me and a buddy watching Danaher dvds over cigars and whiskey tonight, then drilling a bit...good stuff

Now just checking out the night sky listening to country music down a dirt road

Played some pickup basketball against some kids much younger than me and dominated.

Some prick at my favorite local coffee shop got in my face and tried to start a fight. I just gave him a blank stare. He had a bad case of short guy syndrome.

Why did he get in your face?

One old school thing: Shaved at the communal sinks after a post-workout shower at my Y.

I had been noticing all the older grey-hairs doing this, right out of the shower, a towel wrapped around their plump midsection, they all use the same shaving cream, a can of Red, White and Blue Barbasol. I used soap instead.

I normally shave my face with an electric razor. That's what I've been using for decades. Recently I started shaving my head (which has no bald spots) for better cooling at the gym. I ran across Rich Cooper's video on halftime razors, so I decided to give it a try. Works well. I'm using a Gillette shaving cream, just because I have no idea what the best selection is.

And you know the old joke about why bald men should wear turtleneck shirts? Well, I wind up with such a Velcro scalp that I really don't want to try putting one on. Just putting on a t-shirt for the gym is a bit of a struggle.

Introduced my buddy to an Asian girl I knew from a while back, got him her number this past Friday. She came by last night and he got some slanty-eyed pussy. He always wanted to check that box.

Serviced my car. Growing up the way I did I'm still amazed people don't know how to do something as simple as an oil change.

I always did this, too. There was just something so overwhelmingly satisfying about it. When the EPA did the new disposed oil regulations, it almost made it completely impractical to service your own car. I don't blame one side or the other, obviously there is merit to not fucking up the earth, but can't we get some simpler regulations? I wanna fix and maintain my own stuff.

Watched Jeopardy and a movie with my chronically ill mom. Nice to have at least one woman in your life you can do nice things with/for without losing hand.

Where I live you can take the oil to to recycling centers and the local council to be disposed of, but I tend to keep it and use it on tools and to help preserve shovels and other stuff like blades on shears etc.

Used or new, oil helps you arm wrestle:

That was manly.

I always take my used oil to autozone or someplace similar. Pouring it out on the ground seems like a horrible idea.

I used to try one of those large "oil catch" pans that you can put a top on and do the same--take it to the store I bought the oil from, but then one day it fucking spilt in my car and an oil change is only $15-$20 dollars here, if you buy your own oil (which I do), so it's worth the extra $20 to avoid that shit happening again. Ruined my interior...

I do. A small one. That was to which I was referring. Ruined the interior of the trunk. The car smelled of motor oil forever after that. I could access the trunk by lying down the back seats--one of those kinda deals.

It's hot as the surface of the sun out there today, so I floated in my pool and drank whiskey & cider.

Yep that's why I have a truck, but even when I didn't the oil container was carried inside a big rubbermaid bin just in case because those fucking oil pans leak like shit.

I killed a fer de lance with a machete on my farm today. It was about 3 feet long.

It's been raining a lot lately so the grass has been growing out of control. I was clearing a patch with a couple of my workers when I spotted it about 4 or 5 feet away. I really didn't think twice. You can't let them roam around.

Then before going home I went to the stream that borders my property and threw some raw chicken in to feed the family of caimans that live there.

I love my life.

Us short guys prefer LMS, or Little Man Syndrome, and honestly if a short dude is displaying LMS I would say swat him down. If he isn't, I would be polite, he's probably chopped down bigger trees than you.

Haha, funny. True, most linemen are tough as nails. Maybe a little fekked from all that voltage Tinfoilhat , but cool and tough for sure!
