I agree with most of the points made by the OP. Even though he could've hit the search button, I'm cool & understand why he felt a new thread might be best.

He calmly & unemotionaly broke down why he's not cool with TO women, and that's an accomplishment! I'm always amazed at how good looking Toronto women are (lots of slim cute pie White babes) while being absolutely un-sexy & unfriendly!

This frustrating combination is the reason I believe this city has it's infamous reputation. And I'll be honest here: around the time when Roosh wrote his Toronto article, I was like these TO Broad don't even look good.

I'm not defending Toronto. After spending 6 months in Ottawa and 1 month in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I have enough experience to know that the grass is greener on the other side. Were powerless to certain circumstances but we have no choice but create feasible alternatives. The solution is if you don't like Toronto then leave. Well... thats a pipe dream and not a reality for most people. All im saying is make some feasible alternatives to enjoy the Toronto experience for the time being. Instead of hooking up and seeking ONS, maybe have open relationships or fwb with a few women. A man's success in sexuality is not with how many women he sleeps with or how much sex he has. But more in regards with quality people and experiences, and fulfillment. Whining and complaining how much a city sucks on the internet doesn't make anything better. In NYC you'll see a lot of multi ethnic groups in public, in Toronto that barelly happens. Go to Eaton Centre in Toronto and you will see groups of 10 Indians or asians walking around not interacting with other groups. You'll see the same thing with blacks and whites but to a lesser extent. Some of these immigrant groups already have a strong identity and the ones that come to Canada are usually the best immigrants that have the best education and wealth when compared to other immigrants so they don't really feel the need to mix with other cultures in Toronto. In NYC some immigrants are in such fucked up situations they have no choice but to mix. But in Toronto they are to safe in their wealthy enclaves made up of their ethnic group.

They say Canada is a Mosaic vs Americas Melting Pot like it's a positive but in my opinion it's a huge negative and it's my main criticism of Canada and Toronto.

Toronto has one of the most thriving downtowns in North America. It’s neck-and-neck alongside Chicago for the #2 spot, behind NYC.

Furthermore, there are two massive universities (UToronto and Ryerson) right in the downtown. Unlimited 18-22 year-old vag seven months of the year.

If you’re having trouble getting girls in the T-Dot, then I hate to see how you’d fare in those aforesaid west coast cities or your run-of-the-mill small city where it’s hard to even find girls to approach (i.e., Cleveland, Kansas City, Miluwakee, Sacramento, Tampa, etc) or a sprawling city where the girls live nowhere near you (i.e., LA, Houston, Dallas, etc).

Funny that you mentioned Ottawa, because I've been thinking of moving there for awhile now.

I'm currently living in Vancouver, making crap money with my useless bachelor's degree.

I've been desperately wanting to move out somewhere cheaper where I can actually afford my own place.

A one-bedroom apartment in downtown Vancouver is going to run you at least $1500-2000 a month, but a one-bedroom apartment in downtown Ottawa is only $850-1200 a month.

When I first visited Ottawa with my family last year, I definitely got the "big city, small town" feel.

In other words, despite having a large population, the actual city feels very small.

As a result, I felt that the people were more friendly and approachable than in sprawling cities like Vancouver and Toronto, where people are more impersonal.

I also noticed that the girls in Ottawa (and Montreal) looked a lot younger (and whiter... lol) than the girls in Vancouver. I'm not sure if this is because their universities are closer to the city center, or if the average population is actually younger. Vancouver is more expensive, and wealth takes time to accumulate, so it makes sense that people here look older.

One possible downside I see about Ottawa is the weather.

When I last visited, school had just started up again, and thus, the weather was pretty mild.

But I've heard that in the winter, it's nonstop snowstorms, while in the summer, the entire city gets incredible humid. I'm not sure how I would deal with this, especially coming from the moderate climate that Vancouver offers.

Another possible downside to living in Ottawa is my inability to speak French. I'm worried that I won't be able to get a good job if I can't speak French fluently.

Being young and dumb in college, I decided to study Spanish, rather than French, as part of my language requirement. Now I want to learn French, but I'm worried that I'll "waste" the little bit of Spanish that I did learn.

I'm also working on becoming a freelance copywriter so that I can work from anywhere, but starting your own business takes time, and it's going to be months, maybe even years, before I can start making some serious dough from writing.

My coworker who lived and worked in Ottawa for awhile said that French is only necessary if you want a "high-up" position, but I'm not sure how much I can trust his word...

Anyways, to all my Canadian brothers: I know that this thread is about Toronto, but rather than making threads titled "The hate on Toronto/Vancouver," we should be discussing how we can adapt to such cities, or how and where we can move to greener pastures.

Everyone knows how hard it is to get an American or European citizenship, so if we want to stay in the Western hemisphere, where standards of living are high, it seems that we are stuck here, in the Great White North...

I’m from Vancouver and I’ve noticed a lot of Toronto/Ontario people have been coming over here.

Can’t say I like any of them. I put them on the same tier as Irish workers who come here for the summer and really FoB azns.

The problem for Vancouver, the city is built for the 1%. If you are not living in a good house near the city it’s no surprise because the houses are priced ridiculously.

So I think with the chicks who DO live here is that they are more scrutinizing to average men. Considering how low the wages are here this entire city is nearly average men.

Toronto on the other hand from the people I’ve met. Are just sort of living in a different world.

Every year I meet people from Toronto and my largest complaint would be the flakyness, followed by the self importance on trivial things.

Apparently 75% of the detached homes in Metro Vancouver cost more than a million.

A family friend has an older home a Vancouver that he will soon sell to some FOB Chinaman for like 4 million, land value only. I'd like to see a million dollar head tax on these Jakes.

The locals hate the foreigners because of their corruption money. Chinese people have ruined Vancouver. If a high foreign buyers tax was around 30 years ago maybe things would be different.

And ya some people are happy because of the how crazy there home value is, but it doesn't help too much when the whole province has gone up. Unless you plan on moving to another city/province/country it doesn't make much difference, although many people have lines of credit upwards of half a million.

Yes that is the thing I hate the most about Toronto is the ethnic enclaves. And this is very problematic because depending on your races you get treated differently than other people. This segregation affects every aspect of everyone life now. For example if I apply to a job and I am the most qualified but the hiring manager is Indian they will most often choose the brown candidate that from the same ethnicity from India. This is because of the segregation and now nobody wants to get to know other people.

I went to to Uoft for 4 years and I can tell you that if you got any uni bar near it its full of guys. The ratios are so bad. Heck Roosh wrote in his article he went to the Madison (the biggest uoft bar) and compained about it.

Toronto is the most multicultural city in the world with around half its population born outside of Canada. Dont get me wrong, I love women from every race and welcome immigrants who assimilate but there one particular group is causing this major imbalance. Muslim people. At any bar or club scene you will see afghan, arab, somali or paki dudes but never see girls from their culture in the bar scene. I find it quite funny that their religion says dating is a sin but most of their male population will try to get a girlfriend and their community will have no qualms over it but if a female from their community will date they will try to kill her (this has actually happened in Canada when a dude killed his daughters for dating). They tend to be the thirstiest dudes (since they have brought up in a very repressed culture) and now have skewed the gender imbalance. Indian people is another big group that skews the ratio. A large percentage act like Muslim people (a friend of mine is in the hookup scene but fought a man for dating his sister). Add the fact that they also do gender selective abortion and you can see how large it is.

Indians only hang out with Indians, same with Asians and other ethnicities. If you don't have an in culturally with some kind of immigrant community you will feel left out. And I wouldn't even want to live like this even if I did have an in with some immigrant community what fun is being around people when you are only around them cause you are the same ethnicity, this is why Toronto is very shallow and people are depressed it's prison mentality were people only really associate with those that look like them. I'm looking for a new city to move to and this is why Toronto isn't really an option for me way to segregated, probably going to go with Montreal since it just has a way better vibe and much happier. I have a slight interest in Vancouver/surrounding area to but we'll see.

Yeah your actually right about this. And the winners are so greedy. I went to club last night and some singer from a tv show came (im too old to be up to date with who is who). Anyway he had a vip section and all the 8s and up where there. Me and my friend had to fight for the rest that was left. This is another reason I hate Toronto. Since I am not part of any ethnicity with a large population that resides in Toronto I always feel left out. This city is so segregated. Heck even your job opportunities can be affected by which ethnicity you are from (too much nepotism). The SJWs love to promote multiculturalism and love to paint white people as racists but white people tend to be the most inclusive people (all the minorities are so discriminatory to others).
