I am married to one and dated quite a few. This is a stereotype for sure. I think because it is a female dominated occupation you are going to find a good lot of sluts in there. It's your mind trying to create a pattern out of wishful thinking. It is akin to the catholic schoolgirl syndrome. This is just another broad categorization. Pun intended. I'm sure there will be posters who claim nurses to be promiscuous because they are caregivers, etc. Women in general are genetically programmed as nurturers. There are sluts in every field and it's like a treasure hunt to find them! Just my opinion based on experience and not skinemax late night movies. Lol

XY made a great point. Look for a group of 2 or 3 who are looking around the room/bar a lot. They are looking for fun. So many girls gomoit with their friends and don’t acknowledge the world around them. They don’t care.

Don't want to sound all 'intellectual master race' but low IQ. Just sheer low level genetic intelligence. I know chicks think with their emotions more than men, but blatant rejections of logical systems such as believing in astrology and spirituality are usually good indicators she prefers to act on whims and go with the flow of whoever can provide her tingles in the moment.

- Big handbag = needs to keep lots of makeup and stuff handy, in case she's sleeping over somewhere
- Lives alone = can avoid issues with flatmates getting in the way of rampant sluttery

There are plenty of stealth sluts out there too. I once banged a girl who didn't drink, never went to parties, no tats, etc. Had one long term boyfriend she broke up with a year prior, and was 31 years old. Told me she hadn't had sex in over a year.

Then when we're getting into it I see she's got a shaved pussy. She tells me she's on the pill (no, I didn't take her word for it - covered up of course). She was tight down there, but not "no sex for a year or more" kind of tight. None of that sounds like the girl who isn't getting sex on the regular from somebody. I didn't really care, but chalked it up to another variant of slut defense radar and self-serving lies. Such is the female condition.

If you're going to deal with a slut, the stealth sluts are far better than the obvious battle hardened ink-stained train wrecks we see so much of in modern day life. At least the stealth slut doesn't feel the need to look and act like a whore and she knows the difference between looking sexy versus slutty.

That doesn't mean it's a less reliable indicator, it just means we have far more sluts in the world than we used to. The types, locations and extent of the tattoos just determine the level of unabashed sluttery.

I would say Asian FOBs with tats of any kind are a still major indicator. For most of their cultures, tats are even more taboo than elsewhere. Watch for actual prostitution activity on the side if she's a recently arrived FOB with tats. Not joking.

Interesting thread. I still think it's necessary to define what exactly a "slut" is when we are talking about "slut radar". And, that definition will most likely vary from man to man, based on his age, location, and experience.

So is a slut a girl with a lifetime notch count >10? Or, is it a girl who has slept with 5 or more guys in a year? Or, is it a girl who has no resistance to a ONS?

Also, I tend to fall in to the camp of guys that think "once a slut, always a slut." I know there are men that disagree. But, a girl who was a serious slut in her early 20's, who then hangs up her shoes, can relapse in to slutty behavior and all that comes with it fairly easily (in my experience). This is an issue, as "reformed sluts" often actively attempt to erase their previous slut tells. They can even go so far as to laser off their tattoos. I've experienced this myself. So, specifically for slightly older women, it can be a mixed bag when it comes to trying to apply all of these tells.

But, back to the main point of the thread.

I am divided on nurses. I agree that with any majority female group (like teachers, for example), it is easy to say the profession is full of sluts. In reality, it is just full of women, and many women are sluts. Many of us tend to either ignore or (perhaps) not even see the non-sluts. So, we engage in pattern recognition when we are only seeing 1/3 or 1/2 of the set.

All of the points originally listed by Tuthmosis (and all of the addenda) are, regrettably, becoming less and less useful. As has already been mentioned, more and more girls fall in to these categories. Tattoos. Casual drug use. Etc. When I was just starting out, around the turn of the millennium, it was unusual to see a lot of girls from "good backgrounds" displaying a lot of this stuff. Now, I know girls who went to the best schools and come from the best families who have Yakuza-style full back tattoos. Slut tells have gone mainstream.

Now, I can only rely on a few indicators, and I'm not even sure about those. But, this is what I've got.

1. (Semi)Permanent Birth Control - I was gaming a girl a few months ago who went out of her way to tell me she was very "anti-promiscuity". She didn't believe in sleeping around and, according to her, had a very low sexual partner count. Long story short, as things progressed, "low" became maybe five guys, then ten, then no more than twelve and those one or two times where she didn't consent. And on and on. But, what should have settled it was that she told me (fairly early on) that she had the gold standard of IUD. And she had it implanted when she was 17 (she was 25 when we met). Non-sluts usually don't have themselves functionally, if temporarily, sterilized in their teens. Rods last, on average, about three years. Coils and T IUDs can last a decade. If she's got one, that means she has it in her mind to do a lot of screwing. And (in my experience) unless the girl is very low IQ, girls are far less worried about BC with boyfriend and boyfriend-material type guys. So if she has installed BC, it's because she is looking for random sex, probably from a variety of men.

2. Overnight bags - Someone already mentioned the large purse issue. But, I know a number of women (mainly 30+ legal professionals) who carry a small overnight bag in the trunk of their car. If a girl has a change of clothes and a toiletry kit that she carries 24/7, she is seriously up for it. The excuse always is that they need it in case they "sleep in the office" or something like that. That isn't what it's for. That is never what it's for.
