For those in relationships, how often do you text and do you ever initiate texting? Didn't realize texting can make a huge difference (newbie at this). there a difference with say american girls and south of the border mexican girls with communication?

Define your relationship more. You say LTR but:

-How long have you been dating?
-Are you exclusive? Still gaming on the side?
-Is she in love with you?

As far as the difference between American girls and Mexican girls, it depends on the girl. Latinas in my experience (non Americanized) tend to be a little more clingy.

As far as with texting, even in a LTR I keep it to a minimum. Use it to set dates. I see too many people wasting tons of time texting. You just don't need to. Plus, if you've got a lot of other things going on, or lots of women this will be logistically impossible.

You're not going to build attraction on the phone. There's a reason in sales that they schedule you for a face to face. If you only text your LTR to set dates, she will get with the pattern really quick. Especially Latinas, they love direct men.
