Unless I'm terribly mistaken, transsexuals haven't really existed for the vast majority of human history. If I was debating a liberal they might try and say something along the lines of "they existed but couldn't do anything about their condition." Well, I suppose this does carry some weight, I have a few counter arguments/thoughts. Most obviously, they would need to address the fact that in all of recorded human history, medical or otherwise, modern day trannies were never referenced or alluded too at all. You would think that if millions of people who were trans existed throughout history, at least one or two of them would have written about it, or someone else would have noticed/been told and then written about it.

And here's the thing, even if people were born with "wrong brains" they still fell in line with what society expected of them, less they be ostracized or physically harmed. They still lived regular lives as their "wrong" gender, and presumably didn't kill themselves either.

Because civilizations for the most part wouldn't tolerate them, and they would have been tossed out of the tribe, or worse.

I am sure odd occurrences happened where they became charlatan oracles, shamans etc.

That would be my guess.

Number of male to female trannies vastly outnumbers number of female to male trannies, which leads me to suspect that transsexualism in majority of cases is coping mechanism for weak/narcissistic males trying to get a better life/more attention in a female centered world of modern west.

Some men just cannot put up with pressures of competing and keeping up with other men while the females are glorified over men without any work anyway. So they decide to switch sides and "be themselves" that is to live with less pressure as women whom they perceive (correctly btw) to have less pressure and more options to express themselves.

It might be truth that in past a religious and celibate role of a shaman or a monk would captivate these men and channel their life in more productive role to benefit the society. This however doesn't mean that shamans and monks were transsexuals of the past. This means that unrealized shamans and monks of past become misguided trannies today because they have no option to become shamans and monks anymore.

Although their numbers are historically minute, they existed under various guises in history. During its course, they were known as:

*bisexuals (i.e. people with two sexes as opposed to swinging both ways)
*hermaphrodites
*catamites
*castratos
*male prostitutes in the goddess fertility cults (whom St. Paul called 'dogs' in the New Testament, according to the King James Version).

The timing of the recent buzz surrounding transsexuals coincided just after the gay marriage argument became history under the Obama administration which was quickly transposed into the national laws of countries under the US' sphere of influence.


It is an important issue because women for the past half-century have been adopting masculine attributes to assert independence and equality with men. The counter-productive implication here is that masculinity is therefore superior to femininity if women need to cultivate masculine attributes at the expense of femininity to become equal with men. For example a woman can seem empowered in a power suit and smoking a cigar but a man who puts on a dress is ridiculous and shameful.


Another reason and perhaps the most relevant to this forum is the age old question of rulers: "What do we do with a surplus of men in peacetime?" This question has become even more pertinent because traditional agricultural and industrial occupations that occupied men's lives and allowed them to sire and bring up children are largely gone because of the economic model of job migration and reserve labour pool immigration from and to the West. Moreover the British model of encouraging the second, third and fourth etc sons to populate the White Commonwealth (circa. 1600 to as late as the 1950s [£10 Pommes to Australia]) is not only over but is in reverse with blowback immigration from the Black and Brown Empire.


The surplus of men is going to increase in nominally peacetime periods when a lot of masculinity will be considered 'toxic' in countries where the debt-based economic model of consumption is practised. Not only will there be not enough women to go round, women of fertile ages will be more and more monopolised by men of power who have somehow avoided downward equalisation with women by state power.


I suspect the financial democracies have seen the incel rebellion coming for a long time and it would suit the agenda to make some of the male surplus asexual or feminised worker drones in the service economy.

Its clear that there is some type of driving force behind the tranny movement. I don't not believe it is the tranny themselves, however, that are behind the wheel.

Think about it, how many transexuals have any of you met in your lives? Now think how many of them smoke crack/method, use heroin, or are addicted to opiates or use any other hard drugs?

I've wondered the same thing myself. I'd wager that there are some bio-socio factors at play:
-hormones/chemicals in products and diet (ex. soy),
-related to the above bullet, birth control in water supply (not sure if this is an "urban legend" or not, need to look into it more)
-rampant single motherhood
-war on masculinity

OP is right in that ancient history doesn't have a lot of examples, but modern (20th Century) history has featured trannies. Lou Reed wrote about one called Candy Darling that used to hang around Andy Warhol's Factory and Candy Darling is immortalized in Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side." But they existed in an underworld that most people rarely ventured into, much less talked about. They certainly weren't reading to kids or public figures. That is recent and probably part of the Current Year crowd trying to promote any kind of sexuality except for heterosexuality.

But OP you can't forgot the Eunuchs who do appear throughout ancient history. Eunuchs were kids (generally slave kids) who were castrated and lived their entire lives without a penis. But they never thought of themselves as women, or trans. I think they were still thought of as men, although they didn't have the rights afforded to fully intact men.
