Slavic or Finno-Ugric are language groups, not ethnicities. At the end of the day ethnic Russians have the same "slavic" haplogroup. The "Finns" are despite their non-European language genetically European.



The territory of the Kievan Rus by the way was not only "Moscow", that came later. Originally the capital wasn't Kiev, but Novgorod.

I would not call that haplogroup "Slavic". Not at all. The term "East Slavic" may be appropriate. Look at how rare it is in Serbia.
