RE: Most alpha culture in high-income, industrialized world?

It's like being a professional football player pre-selects for a certain physique and a kind of people.
Good post overall (I snipped most of it), but I thought I'd address this part as people might postulate on it. The two best players on the planet (Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi) for the past decade are white (not WASP, but definitely white outside of the US). Soccer doesn't require the attributes that West Africans (most slave descendants in the USA, and Jamaica) possess. It requires them somewhat, but also with others. Therefore, those of West African descent don't dominate that sport like they dominate sprinting and other things.
Yeah, lots of kids who do really well are black, but it isn't fast-twitch muscle genetics etc in the same way it is in lots of other sports. I'll go into this in more detail should people be interested in hearing my thoughts.

Turkey's current GDP per capita based on real purchasing power in international dollars is same as France's in early 2000's.
Was France not a high-income, industrialized economy in 2000-2005?
Also, you might want to teach IMF something since IMF regards Turkey as industrialized high-income society with near 30k GDP per capita.

Agree with that, just like many European countries are 70-90% Catholic but are actually firmly degenerate / atheist / satanic. Turkey is definitely muslim, but I've never viewed it as defined by it - similar to Indonesia or Bosnia.
However:

Fixed this for you.
Comparing Turkey to European or East European countries when it comes to religious influence and importance? That's like comparing Somalia to U.S in terms of economic power.
Turkey is significantly more religious society than Eastern Europe (let alone Western). Islam plays a central role in Turkish culture, society, dressing, social norms, and values. Whereas, Christianity is a dead, beaten, humiliated thing of past utterly rejected by Western world and beyond (even in Latin America). Nobody takes Christianity seriously. Christian doctrine holds no influence anywhere in the world when it comes to laws, education, social norms, dress code, sexuality, and values (may be besides some parts of sub Saharan Africa?).
Majority of Turks are proud and practicing Muslims. Yes, not as practicing Muslims than say Pakistanis. Turks are "liberal" only when compared with other Muslim populations. But Turks are FAR more religious and stick to their traditional religious culture and values at much higher rates than any European population (or any non-Muslim populations on planet for that matter, bar few).

You're Turkish?
No. Not Turkish, never been to Turkey.
Although I did quite a lot of research (Actual research, not just internet surfing) regarding social cultures of high-income, industrialized countries. I looked into cultural aspects such as;
1- Marriage/Divorce rates
2- Prevalence of premarital sex
3- Drugs/alcohol consumption rates
4- Popular modes of dressing
5- Social values surveys (To assess how traditional societies are in regards to their attitudes about sex, abortions, marriages, homosexuality, family, and so on)
6- Abortion rates
7- Religious adherence and practice
8-Fertility rates/Demographics
9- Births within marriage vs outside marriage
10- Violent crime rates (I focused on murders, rapes, and armed robberies)
And so on...

One of the feature of autism is:
"Interests or fixations that are abnormal in theme or intensity of focus"
Your intense fixation on investigating the alphaness of countries that you've never been to is abnormal, in my opinion, and I have reason to believe from the responses to your posts, that other people also concur that it is abnormal.

In all my time there, I've never felt in danger or uneasy. The Muslim thing isn't even noticeable because the Turks are Muslims in name only.
Some of you need to get out more and meet some people.
Again - of course you have plenty of secular smart Turks living there - 20 mio. descendants of Europeans leave their mark - also the remnants of the old Ottoman warrior culture that survived the Islamic inbreeding. They offloaded millions of some of their most backwards Turks to Germany and if you want to meet the majority of them and send your kids to schools dominated by the German Turks, then you will find the true meaning of secularism. It's all relative.
Also - this one thought that Turks were all secular and like Christians:
She made it only to Turkey - and there only a few dozen miles past Istanbul.
![[Image: No7_c.jpg?fit=1600%2C1074]](https://i2.wp.com/www.ekinonat.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/No7_c.jpg?fit=1600%2C1074)
Good try though.
Again - the Turks are not so bad at the core - if you subtract the large backwards part to the East, the 25% who are still inbred (but congratulations to the lowest degree in the Muslim world), the neo-Ottoman Turkish government that actively reverses the secularization. I talked personally to the manager of a 5-star hotel in Istanbul where I was staying. He told me that they had to ban any food being taken upstairs - including the nuts that I bought, because the backwards wealthy Turks were doing grilling sessions in their rooms destroying carpets and rooms. It happened so often, that they had to enact a PC-friendly "no-food-upstairs-at-all" policy because otherwise they would have to admit that they are banning more the lambs and not the guy with dried figs and nuts he bought at the market.
But Turkey is at crossroads - it's in my opinion re-islamizing and secularizing at the same time - a strange mix indeed. In the offices I had been to there were plenty of secular hot girls with mini-skirts, but they are not representative of the entire country.
