A police woman and her female partner were attacked by a rapist when they tried to arrest him. One officer has sustained "severe bruising" as a result of her attack. It appears that male police officers had to finally apprehend the rapist.

Quote:A police officer has been sexually assaulted as she tried to arrest a man on suspicion of attempted rape.

She was one of two officers who came under attack in Sheffield city centre in the early hours of Friday morning.

South Yorkshire Police said they had responded to a report of an attempted rape on Scotland Street.

The suspect is said to have struck both officers with a wooden “for sale” sign, before sexually assaulting one of them as she tried to arrest him.

One of the officers was left with severe bruising, while both involved in the attack are said to be recovering at home.

A man is in police custody after he was arrested on suspicion of attempted rape, assault, sexual assault and criminal damage.

The female victim was treated for her injuries and is being supported by specially trained officers, while detectives are investigating the original incident.

Chief Inspector Lydia Lynskey said on Friday: “Our officers potentially face danger every time they respond to an incident, putting themselves in harm’s way to serve and protect the communities of South Yorkshire.

“The officers who attended this morning were faced with a dangerous and violent situation, however they showed immense bravery in dealing with the incident.

“Our thoughts are with them and full welfare support has been put in place. We will always take a zero tolerance approach to assaults on our officers in the course of their duties.”

I mentioned this in the immigrant thread in the politics section. Sheffield has always been a leftist shithole but the past few decades they've imported large Pakistani and Somali communities, who've bred out of control and then they're adding more from the third world on top.

The guy is not British in any meaning of the word and South yorkshire police is a corrupt police force from top to bottom. Its not a city which is happy either.

Drug gangs ranging from the Africans to the Pakistanis and white chavs are never challenged.

Yes, when dealing with an aggressive man, a soft spoken, physically non-intimidating woman can talk him down. Sending in a physically intimidating policeman causes a fight-or-flight response.

Of course, said woman police officer would need a large and physically intimidating male police officer right behind her in case that approach doesn't work. That's why I don't mind mixed patrols, but patrols of 1 or 2 women is just insane.

When you read about rapes, violent attacks, fighting of gangs in Germany, they not even write "southern looking" any more. They just say "a man" or "a group of men".

Sheffield is a place I lived in my youth. In those days the worst thing they had was the Irish like me. It Guts me to see what is on the internet these days regarding Yorkshire.
