Indirect approach on a girl carrying a digital camera. I found out that she was an 18 year old photography student. We chatted for 10 or so minutes. I ran Galnuc (again, she was part German); when I asked for her number she hesitated for a long time then said "how about I take your number instead?"

Which was a polite way of telling me no. I suspect that I was simply just too old for her.

There was a small protest in the city today. A gaggle of feminists were ralling for higher wages for female child-care workers. There was a brunette standing close by watching the protest. I opened her by asking if she knew what the protest was about. This girl was French, and her English wasn't great. However, I still chatted with her for 5 minutes. She was waiting for a friend. I got half way through galnuc when her friend arrived. I felt a bit uncomfortable at this point and left.

After this I met up with RVF member Bluey. Cool guy, who's very ballsy when it comes to approaching

I went indirect on an Egyptian girl who was taking a selfie of herself by a river. I asked if the selfie stick she was using was good. I rambled from there, got into a conversation with her and walked away with her number. Cute girl.

Went direct on a blonde girl. She was running late for work and in a hurry, so this set didn't last very long.

Approach #67

I approached a two-set; again I asked about the protest that was happening. This set didn't last long either: these girls walked off on me after 30 seconds. I really don't know how to do two-sets.

Approach #68

This was my best approach of the day. I opened a blonde Mexican by asking her about the camera she was carrying. We had a great chat and I got her number.

Bluey, who was watching from a distance, said her body language suggested that she was quite into me. He also mentioned that my body language could use some work. I have a habit of crossing my legs while I'm in set, and also rocking back and forth while I'm talking. I need to work on standing more firmly​ in set.

Direct. I opened a girl walking down Bourke Street by telling her she was really cute. I stuffed this set up: I completely forgot to run the London Daygame Model, instead I just asked her a train of questions. Then after a minute I ran out of things to ask, so I just asked for her number. She gave it to me to be nice, but I could tell she wasn't particularly interested in me.

Another supermarket approach. This time I tried to pickup a cute Indian student in the canned vegetable section. It was a classic Daybang style approach: elderly opener, ramble, bait drop and galnuc. I've gotten pretty good at these over the last two months. I got the vibe that this girl was into me, but when I asked for her number she hesitated and said "providing we're only going to be hanging out as friends." Ughhh...

Both of these approaches also happened in the supermarket while I was shopping for my dinner. I'm not going to write up individual reports, because the same thing happened during both approaches. Had a very similar situation with a Bulgarian girl in a supermarket, although I was less indirect. She loved the attention, when it came to close she said she would meet up but only as friends. I said that, looking into her eyes, I would hit on her anyway. She replied a firm "no" to that.

That's the only thing you can do to re-affirm your intentions and make it clear what you're after but if she made her mind up, it's already practically a lost set. Running indirect stuff is much too friendly, there's no sexual edge to that. You are not much different than most other men trying to get into a girl's pants. Your proposition MUST be different if you want to play higher percentages daytime. Otherwise, it'll be mostly sheer luck or bored US tourists with average looks.

Don't expect girls to pick up the ball - you're just a complete stranger who chatted to them for a couple minutes. Unless a girl, for whatever reasons, would be massively into you, they won't take the lead - it's your job to move interactions forward and escalate with spikes. With this indirect stuff you're just a mild entertainment during the boredom of their bread & milk shopping day. Create an edge. Most men are too afraid to take risk. Red-line the car. Promise them sexual, anonymous adventure. But first you need to create a congruent dress look, body language, eye-contact and sexualise the interaction with touching and verbal spikes. You're going in the right direction and as long as you introspect and self-diagnose, you'll do well.

Daybang is 7-8 years old now and at that time there wasn't an onslaught of social media and Tinder, Bumble, OKCupid, etc. Roosh, I think, based his advice based on the amassed daygame experiences between 2000-10. It was the right book for that era but now we're in 2018 and I'm afraid with girls inundated with sex offers online (random guys spamming girls' Facebook/Instagram day in, day out, for example) and offline (hordes of western sex tourists travelling for peanuts to EE, for example).

You need much stronger signal to noise to draw girls' attention. Nice guy daygame doesn't cut anymore. Maybe 5-10 years ago it was good (well, I guess it was, I got bangs running nice guy stuff) but it's not daygame 1.0 anymore, it's 3.0 and I think it's already at the verge of its limits because so many daygamers run around many city-centres from Spring to Autumn and girls become more and more used to pretty good game.

Probably the only good places in Europe are outside EU now with few exceptions (Croatia?) - Belarus, Macedonia, Moldova, Russia, Serbia, and Ukraine but in 10-15 years they'll be exhausted with more of these countries connected to fast 4G/5G internet, more social media for the girls, more cheap and frequent flights to the key city destinations and more day- & nightgamers hitting on the girls. Nobody mentions Latvia anymore - a small country to start with + massive exodus of people to western European countries after joining EU made it unpalatable prospect.

Most guys on the forum, for example, who spent some time in Poland, complain it's been pillaged and ransacked and Poland, a country of nearly 40 million joined in EU in 2004 only. All these countries I listed above are much smaller (less than 10 million) than Poland with the exception of Ukraine and big Russia. So, roughly 10, maybe 15 years max (Serbia, for example, is possibly on track of joining EU in 2025), perhaps a bit more in Ukraine and Russia. I remember being in Kraków in 2007 and was actually on a date with a girl in some bar. I still see vividly this fully intoxicated non-descript English guy, stumbling around, then shouting, and dumping in one swipe all the glassware off the table. Kraków as a city was inundated with weekend sex-tourists, girls' guards were much up and Polish media kept complaining about (especially British) male tourists behaviour.

Once all the countries with beautiful girls are in the EU and, as consequence, fully globalised with omnipresent fast internet, online dating, cheap flights, feminism, girls’ exodus for better jobs to western Europe and embracing UK-like attitude and lifestyle it will become a game-over. The clock is ticking for real.

I think I made strong enough case that, on average, indirect daygame lays in the ashes and anyone who wants a really good, consistent results should really step the fuck up their game and say goodbye to asking girls when the nearest coffee shop is.

Ksbms - Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed response. I definitely want to do more direct approaches going forward from here (although I still get AA when I try to go direct, something I need to work on). However, I'm not quite ready to give up indirect approaching either. Since starting this challenge, I've had dates with two very attractive girls whom I met through indirect approaching (numbers #16 and #34). Sure, I didn't bang either girl, for very different reasons. However, my gut is telling me that indirect can work and I really want to give indirect a proper chance before giving up on it. I really do appreciate your feedback though and I've enjoyed your insights into game.

The following approaches were done over the past five days. I've been busy and haven't had a chance to update this journal...

Approach #73

I approached a blonde Aussie girl in a supermarket. Chatted for 10 minutes, then found out that she had a boyfriend (again, apologies for the short reports: I have a lot of writing to get through today).

I got a number from a German tourist in a supermarket. She was in town for one more day. I met up with her early in the following afternoon; she had an early flight back home the next day, so I knew she couldn't stay out late. We had a few drinks, then we went back to my place. There was a lot of making out on my bed, but we didn't have sex. Everytime I'd try to escalate things further; she would push me away and told me "just kissing, no sex," in her broken English. She's back in Germany now.

Approach #75

Indirect approach on a 21 year old English brunette standing in the centre of a shopping mall. I chatted with her for 10 minutes, this was right before I was going to meetup with the German girl for our go-nowhere date, so I couldn't stay in set for too long. I got her number, but never heard from her again. Man, she was sexy though. This must be what Krauser means when he talks about approaching girls you feel a deep attraction for down in your core.

Street approached a redheaded uni student from the country. She was on her way to meet some friends, so I didn't have much time. We talked for a minute or two, then her friends arrived. I felt like I hadn't built enough attraction to ask for the number, and sticking around now that her friends were there felt awkward. So I wished her a good day and left.

French girl in a supermarket. This set didn't last long. My rambling was weak and she walked off. I seem to have no luck with the French.

This one was two days ago. I indirectly approached a Persian girl and I got her number. We've been texting back and forth, I've got a feeling she might be very conservative and not down for casual sex. I'll write more on this if anything ends up happening...

Indian chick. She looked good from behind, but when I got up close I discovered that she had really bad acne. It was so off-putting that I ended up ejecting myself from this set after a minute.

I'm no history buff, but I believe that, after the collapse of the FSU, the so-called "West" intended NATO and the EU to eventually isolate the one country that would not accept their bullshit, whether in terms of ideology e.g. the rights of gays and all sorts of degenerate subcultures, or in terms of more concrete geographical compliance e.g. cessation of nuclear program, allowing NATO bases within the country etc. One by one the most strategically important FSU republics have been courted by the promise of a "new", "better" way of living, whether in the country or by freedom of movement to far more economically prosperous countries. These offers were too hard to refuse. Now the EU and NATO can place troops or weapons launching pads anywhere they wish e.g. provocatively close in the Baltics, for example, while Russia is expected to sit down and do nothing in retaliation. The West may meddle in Ukraine, a very important asset if (when) it turns west, but there are no consequences. However, if Russia does anything, no matter how small in comparison, sanction after sanction are imposed on the country designed to make it suffer, however arguably it is the common people that suffer the most - the rich are still doing fine. What even Russia did not anticipate was, however, technology. All these politics have been important in the decline of former "poosy paradises" up to, say, 2010; but now Ukraine and Russia have been infiltrated by what appeared to be the most seemingly innocuous technological advances. "Better communication", "contact with friends and family" etc. doesn't sound too bad when speaking of smartphones and their "Apps". But now, even the formerly humble, pretty young village girl in a small town in Siberia can get a smartphone and see the entire world outside of her little bubble. She can be approached by hundreds, thousands of potential suitors; she now knows her value on the worldwide market. Even a skinny girl with a decent face has high value compared to your average british or american girl, so ukrainian and russian girls become increasingly aware of their place at the top of the beauty hierarchy. It's common to hear a ukrainian or russian girl say their girls are the most beautiful in the world. The leadership of Russia may not care too much about such developments; they might not even be aware of them, many having no problems with wives and children and mistresses if they need a release elsewhere. For the average american or british or western european man trying to get pretty girls with good, feminine personalities, however, when you see Russia eventually as vulnerable as the rest of the world, because these devices and the data have no geographic boundaries, then you start to see the "game over" as ksbms refers to.

I personally would love Russia to annex Ukraine in the form of a "partnership" leading to a full union, as well as the remaining FSU countries not yet in the EU, but the west just has too many incentives and can print dollars and euros as much as it wants. I guess we were just born a bit too late, or we were just a bit too late in taking proper action i.e. in becoming location independent. When I sit at airports now, great to be able to travel on the one hand but on the other hand everyone is entranced by their smartphones as if it is a vital organ that happens to be on the outside of their bodies.

While I believe the above is indeed going to be the end-game so I agree with ksbms on that, I don't think verbally indirect game should be thrown under the bus. It has a lot of advantages. Roosh once said that going indirect to more direct as the conversation continues, you at least have a chance, but going direct immediately, you can often scare a lot of girls, especially the shy ones, or let's face it in terms of in person social interactions a lot of girls are socially retarded due to their smartphones. I agree that you can get the awkward transition from friendly chat to any type of dating/sexual intent, but this often occurs with the girls that weren't available or open to that anyway. It also occurs when you have started your conversation and ramble (fine) but when you don't tease her or you don't touch her at all or you don't appear non-verbally to be any kind of sexual prospect at all. I have opened girls indirectly and then left because I was too chicken only to find them sneakily following me and smiling, hoping I will re-engage. Granted, this happened a lot more when smartphones didn't exist, but if a girl is available and likes your look, you may well get more than one chance. If she is not available then neither direct nor indirect would have helped you, but indirect really helps in environments where there are more situational options, and to put less initial pressure on the girl. Sometimes in a supermarket it can appear socially retarded to go full on direct. Also if you have found an especially good place for targets being more inconspicuous and indirect helps as you have plausible deniability. If your non-verbal communication is good then it will matter less either way. I think that diagram will just confuse guys and throws away a lot of useful stuff.

Pre-approach screening is definitely something I do. It's mixed between which type of girls have historically given the best yield and which type of girls regardless of yield am I looking for in particular. So it will vary for every man. The way it's phrased looks like another stupid piece of jargon but it basically comes down to looking at the streets at a deeper level, not just seeing girls but seeing girls who are likely to be most receptive. If you approach every single girl walking you will not only burn out towns and cities as has happened in so many places now, you also shrink your already low chances by an order of magnitude.

See on Approach #82. The girl already likes your look. The girl appears available. In the end she may not be, but she appeared to be at that time. You could approach her indirect all day and it wouldn't matter unless you seriously screwed up. It just goes to show that verbally direct or indirect is almost redundant as 90% of things that happen depend on things out of your control anyway. Even without IOIs I've approached girls indirect who are interested and know what's up, while others are uncomfortable with the transition to going out on a date because, in nearly all cases, they were not available in the first place. The worst that can happen with indirect is that you waste a few minutes of your time. Even among the "direct" guys, they have realized that going full verbally direct puts the girl on a pedestal, so the tendency is to go "semi-direct" i.e. say something you noticed about her and tease her on it. The only time I run after a girl is if she's fast in motion and I really like her look. But even then you won't find many of the best guys going full on "you are beautiful" without some sort of backtracking/teasing/"push" etc. to even it out. Thus it's possible to waste time with direct as well.

On Approach #83, I do agree that you had plenty of time to tease her and touch her incidentally and if you were particularly bold sexualize the conversation quite heavily. But again even if you had done everything perfectly she might have just not been available. Most sexually unavailable girls have some sort of "block" where they do not give IOIs in the day (unless they are bad attention whores) and by doing exactly the same stuff on another sexually available girl, there are IOIs all over the place.

About the indirect leading to friendship stuff... ideally your vibe/energy/non-verbals and your look should take care of most of the work, even if you open indirect. One time I indirect approached a girl who was giving IOIs like crazy and got her number. She seemed nervous and a bit shifty so I said I can delete her number no problem if she's nervous, she said no. Turns out she had a BF and I saw her as GF material so would have rather been her BF than her side dick so I did not pursue her when she told me she had a BF but kept talking to me. At the time I didn't realize it from how innocent she looked (my type) but she saw me as the adventure sex guy and wanted secret adventure sex only from me. I'm not saying I get this all the time, indeed there are some girls who require men so hypermasculine that they only go for thugs with tattoos who have had long stints in prison. Usually the girls who are quite masculine in their personalities themselves despite looking sexy. But depending on what you're looking for it's about striking the right balance. You can go too direct, too masculine in non-verbals, and "scare the cat" with many girls. The opposite as you've experienced can also happen. Try and tweak things if you can to see if you get any noticeably different results.

Thanks for the reply skankhunt. I don't really touch girls in set and I tend to play the nice guy. I'll experiment more with touching, teasing and being cocky in set (even though it doesn't come naturally to me) and see if I get better results.

Approaches 84, 85 & 86

I'm going to lump these three approaches together because I'm short on time today. All three of these girls were sitting down & reading books when I approached them.

The first girl was a Dutch backpacker who was reading The Alchemist. It was her last day in Melbourne, so I didn't bother with the number. She seemed interested though.

The second girl was an English backpacker; she's going to be staying in Melbourne until Tuesday. She was reading a Jack Reacher novel on a Kindle. Got her number and we have tentative plans to meet up on Monday night.

The third girl was an Indian chick who was reading some Elkhart Tolle. She didn't seem interested in me.

I should make an effort to approach more girls who are reading books. I'm quite an avid reader. I've read The Alchemist & The Power of Now, and the first Jack Reacher novel has been sitting on my shelf, waiting to be read, for a while now. The fact that I was familiar with all three of the books these girls were reading made conversation easy for me.

I approached a smoking-hot blonde in an orange dress inside a newsagency. I was out daygaming with bluey, I feel like I would've backed out of this one if he wasn't there with me. Having a wing really helps.

Have you thought about instagram-closing instead of number-closing? Or is there a specific reason you only number-close (at least that's a trend of yours that i've noticed).
If you have a good instagram profile that demonstrates high value e.g. having photos where you are doing cool things and are with cool people, perhaps girls, it could enhance the chance of the girl going on a date with you, or that she contacts you in the future (if she finds what you are doing/posting attractive/interesting). As well as that, it would grow your account, which would be benificial to you down the road.

^Thanks for commenting. I actually don't have an Instagram profile, or a Facebook profile either. It's a lifestyle choice. That being said, I can understand how having an intresting, value-demonstrating Instagram profile would improve my results with women. It may be something I do in the future, but it's going to be a lot of work building one up from scratch.

My first approach of the day happened while I was shopping for my groceries this morning. I saw a brunette in the cereal section of the supermarket. Finally, a good set! I saw a cute brunette walking through a park while reading a book. I opened her by asking if it was hard to walk and read at the same time, which she laughed at. Found out that she was French. We had a solid conversation (around 15 minutes) and she definitely seemed into me. However, she's only in town a few more days. I've got a date with girl #82 tonight, then I'm working night-shift for the rest of the week.

While on my way to the date tonight, I approached a blonde American 7. It was a bit of a rushed set as I had a date to get to. She hesitated when I asked for her number: not a good sign! I met up with my date around 5pm. We went to this bar I've been taking a lot of my dates to. This girl was really easy to talk to, and she was quite intresting as well. This one happened on Thursday. I spotted a stunning brunette, sitting down smoking a cigarette. I wasn't planning on approaching that day, so I was dressed very casualy. She was so hot that I decided to go for it anyway. I asked for directions, then started rambling. She was friendly, but not intrested in me.

Approach #98

Street approach on a blonde girl with glasses. She looked good from a far, but was far from good (thanks for that line bluey). I wasn't particularly attracted to her, and after we started talking and I got the impression that she felt the same way about me.

18 year old blond Aussie chick in a shopping mall. She seemed very intrested in me right from the start. I got up to the L in Galnuc, then her group of five friends came out of the nearby shop and ruined this set for me.

My final stats were as follows:

Approaches - 100
Numbers - 24
Dates (including instant dates) - 8
Bangs - 2*
Near misses (girls who came back to mine, but didn't bang) - 2

*I'm using Bill Clinton definitions of sex here: blowjobs don't count.

I feel proud of myself right now. Not so much for my results (which I think are only OK), but simply because I set myself a goal and I stuck with it. I know a lot of people attempted the Roosh Program, but I wonder how many actually completed it?

I also went out for my first nightclub game session since starting this challenge tonight. I completely bombed. It's funny how I can approach a 7 in a supermarket, with no fucks given, but I can't approach a 5 on a dancefloor. I'm definitely sticking to daygame for now on!

As I mentioned in the previous post, I feel the time is right to switch to direct approaching, at least for the next month or so. I want to test which is the better method of daygame, once and for all!

Man congrats on your results! And keep in mind you're getting it done in Australia! Once you start traveling... or get your social circle tight for NightGame... you'll be at the Top of the food chain my friend! I don't know if you're already doing it... but consider going direct, even on the streets! I fought going direct for 6 months... but ended up getting a way better ROI! Might be the same for you.Food for thought!
