Im living in Riga currently, considering going back. Avoid summer at all cost! Total disaster, city is deserted, even some clubs are closed. Even midwinter is better, as far as I remember. All the action moves to Palanga, which is no price itself though - that is, during the week. I actually banged two there in two weeks (one from tinder), but I went out 6/7 so it is not a great result.

I have a soft spot for Vilnius. And not only because of pretty much the only real "crush" I've gotten lately, which was on a gorgeous Lithuanian girl who did have beautiful long hair. Been there 4 times, 2 of which on the way to other final destinations.

Despite having been there so many times I have only had 1 lay and that was from pre-arranged date from a dating site. However that does not have something to do with the chances the city offers, rather with logistics and a non do-or-die approach i.e. not super aggressive. So I concur that it's a good destination for pickup. Even when I did not get laid I had makeouts at bars, the last one by being approached by a girl. Met a Polish girl that I closed at a later trip. Good chances for daygame too, girls make eye contact.

Last time I was there I noticed it has started getting more Scandinavian though. I noticed it in the way girls dressed, and part of the nightlife vibe I got. Not hard to believe considering the Baltics are between Scandinavia and Russia, plus lots of Scandinavian companies operating there. Anyway, that is a discussion for another topic.

Oh and about Salento...The stickiest dance floor I've stepped on. All girls will tell you that this is the club that "easy" girls go to (like the "good" girls usually say). However the ratio is horrible and the guys that hang out there look like they would bang anything. Go cause it's fun and it stays open till late but take all with a grain of salt. Btw there is a restaurant on the other side of the street that is the only one open all night long.

I was there for 4 nights: thursday, friday, saturday, sunday. Went gaming the first 3, last one spent at a couchsurfing home. "Wasted" saturday night with a girl I met on CS with whom I hanged out from like 6 til 4 am and could not get more than make out...

Thursday was pretty lame in general, went to most clubs and the only one that was lively was Salento, although it was full of eramsus people which means starving men, bitch shields up and not many locals which are much finer than these erasmus girls.


Friday I made the mistake to bounce arround to much and spend most of time at Mojitos: Casa de Cuba, a Latino dance club since I got good dance moves and I thought I could nail something there in this way but it seems like this place is better for people that just want to dance. I tried Pabo Cubano on thursday but it was full of +40 dudes and old woman too. Heard that friday is similar so skipped it.

Salento on friday, same problems as thursday but worse and less crowded.

It seems like the best place to game locals is Vardakas for wealthier girls and La Birra (which is in front of it) for less snobier ones. Both are bars. My bar game is not good so I needed to find a good club which I did not find on friday.

I also went to Pantera with some dudes and girls I met on Vardakas but I do not recommend this place. It's filled with gold diggers. Here you pay hundreds of euros for a bottle of champagne that's delivered into your table and this way guys showoff their money and I guess this grabs girl's attention. As I was saying, I went in there with 3 other latinos and 3 girls. One of the guys bought 2 bottles of champagne, I didn't wanna feel like I was owing something to anyone so even when one of the girls was giving me IOIs I just left withouth telling anyone lol.

There's another Vilnius topic and I pretty much wrote there all about it. I like white girls, preferably blonde and blue/green eyes. I think Lithuania have the most beautiful girls in the world, for me.

And then, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Russia, Poland and list goes on.

It's all pretty walkable, but anywhere around the circle made by Vilniaus, Vokieciu, Didzioji, Pilies, G. Prospekt is fine, although the area by the castle hill near Pilies is more touristy and dead for nightlife.

It depends on your goals. Old Town is small and bounded by two rivers (to the north and the east) and a semicircle to the south and the west. So, if you do not mind walking, all of Old Town is packed into a relatively small area. It is a great area to walk.

On the other hand, much of old town is closed to buses and cabs (and even traffic on some streets). So, if you want to pull lizards, you may need to set up camp near your hunting grounds, because you may not be able to simply hop in a Taxi or an Uber.

For example, look at what you would need to do to drive to two tourist sites (to drive, you must travel almost three times the walking distance):

I have traveled everywhere in Europe in the past. Vilnius is very easy. If you don't bang in Vilnius in a week, you don't bang anywhere else.

I was in Vilnius yesterday on a business trip. I was amazed by the level of talent on display and how the place has come on leaps and bounds.

My impressions of Vilnius after 3 nights, 4 days:

-looks wise the women are overall 0.5-1 point above the average Polish girl: long blonde hair, tall slim bodies, lots of dresses, skirts, better fashion sense
-friendly attitude to foreigners but some princess mentality can be observed: some girls will flat out reject you even if you are taller than them just because they're aiming for an even taller Chad
-the local guys are not much of a competition, previous poster who said that they are athletic and aiming to become basketball players was talking non sense, most guys are average in height and not particularly interesting, lots of hotties next to cavemen
-got my flag off Tinder (I still think the application is shit though) with a 6 who basically offered to come over, based on our conversation she's banging a different foreigner every week
-for accommodation definitely stay near Cathedral Square or Vokieciu street. Some very cheap flats can be found, I paid less than 60 euro/night for a studio
-I tried some of the places mentioned by the op: Sprotai was closed, too bad because that sounds like my type of bar , Pabo Latino sucked, paid 10 euro to get in and was almost empty, maybe because there were a lot of concerts happening outside, Distilerija and Alchemikas were crap, good places to bring a girl not to pull
-Huracan cafe is OK, basically the local Starbucks, lots of chicks on their laptops, for bars I recommend Portobello
-most places have tables and everybody sits down, in summer everyone sits outside and makes it almost impossible for a solo guy to run game, I believe this city would be better in the colder months when people will rather sit inside next to the bar
-haven't been to Salento, no time for that, btw most places are closed until Friday night, not much going on during the week
-guys who do daygame have a lot more opportunities, I recommend Vokieciu, Gedimino and Vilniaus streets, lots of beautiful girls walking alone
-try to ask locals to show you around, I have received a lot of offers but didn't have time to capitalize
-for better quality (7+) I believe you need to stay for the long term (maybe 2-3 months), based on my interactions a lot of girls are relationship oriented

All good points and match my observation from last July. Nightlife was shit, city seemed a bit quiet in summer. But in what universe is 60€ per night cheap? Of course, it depends on your disposable income, but for airbnb privates anything under 30€ is cheap for most people I know.

You can probably find cheaper if you book in advance. I had to do it the same day. Considering that last year I paid 40 EUR/night during peak season in a hostel in Barcelona I was happy.
I tried to find a similar place in Riga and it cost almost double so instead I stayed in a hostel.

Been here 10 days. Had an epic time with edlefou who was an excellent host and guide and chick magnet. Our livers have suffered though and so has Vilnius' alcohol supply

I will say though, the place feels easy but my results haven't been. I've had nights where girls with husbands gave me their nb, girls calling us over from other tables, etc... tons of bathroom number closes...But ultimately the bangs haven't really followed with them. I've been with two and both took multiple dates and aren't really top quality. Many I've met only go out sparingly so you need time to see them again.

Also the city is small as fuck and it's tough to juggle girls as you will be spotted easily.

I haven't been going to Salento and pianoman though as I felt the quality there is lacking.

So basically I'm getting attention which makes me like the place but I'm not getting the results. I feel less drinking and more focus and adjustment would help but easier said than done. We really had been focusing more on having a good time Than girls and I was too much in friendly fun mode.

Also the very very high quality is a bit lacking. It's not a sea of 8s here. I think most are gone or gone fornsummer. Most of the hottest girls you'll see will be jailbait

@Beirut, 10 days is a long time in Vilnius. You need to head west to Klaipeda and Palanga. You will enjoy change of pace there and can work on the beach club game
