True. The hoodie thing isn't so popular anymore though. I'm seeing a lot of guys in blazers and business suits in SF these days.

But honestly DM'ing SF girls isn't really going to give a lot of ROI if your just some average tech guy. You realistically need to get into a niche (art scene, bdsm, DJ etc) to get anywhere. SF girls either have ridiculously high bar or set it ridiculously low where you just need to be their type/niche.

I took a long hiatus from Instagram after building up to some 2600 followers by the beginning of last year using Follow Liker inspired by Vinny's original guide.. I recently purged over half of my followers that were inactive and thinking about starting over again with automation. I bought an unlimited license at the end of 2016 that cost a shitload of money, hope I don't have any issues starting it back up again.

I was really into IG for about 6 months but it got boring after a while. I've grown to love the photography aspect tho and now I am taking more pictures than ever. I used to hate taking photos. Going traveling soon so I want to get my profile back up to speed.

More data on Instagram that may be helpful: I've found no difference so far between following a girl and liking 3 of her photos vs. following a girl and liking 1 of her photos. My followback rate is around the same.

The conventional wisdom is that liking a bunch of photos will help "fill up" her feed and get her to notice you, but I haven't found that to be the case.

About 50% of the girls that read my message responded (I'm not going to count the girls that were obviously in a relationship)

I was trying to find something out about the app, is there a way that I can hide my comments on other chicks IG"s to my followers?

I just got an account on instagram with no followers,posts etc.

But too often I notice that people have looked their account to private after I've been watching through their pictures etc.

It seems like they've seen someone has been stalking them and then they lock it? Is it possible and if so, is it that common for people to check who has been watching their profile?

I'm not an Instagram expert but I don't think it's possible for someone to know who has viewed their profile or pictures unless you like a picture or comment. If you view one of those stories or whatever they call it then they can see who has viewed it.

Were these girls that follow you, or random DMs that were going to their message request folder?

No, you can't hide your comments, however, why are you commenting on girls profiles? It goes down in the DM, you need to be keeping everything to DMs.

A lot of savvy girls like every single comment people leave them without clicking on the person's profile. It's a trick to keep their most engaged users happy with the dopamine to make sure they come back and keep engaging.

Just wanted to give a bunch of random observations since I now use Instagram heavily for my personal and business accounts...

1) It's hard to get really hot girls to follow you... it's nature of the beast.

Everybody wants followers but the least number of following.

2) Choose your niche carefully since unless your good looking....having a great profile but if you got no pictures of you that is pointless if your looking to game girls

3) I noticed a lot hot girls might post something inside the Instagram Stories if they are with a guy but rarely in a regular post unless it is steady boyfriend. Reminds of years a ago when I joined VK and saw there Slavic girls traveling all over the world but they were always pictured alone. Western girls are pretty much doing the same thing these days as they only post with their girl friends especially if they are looking to gain followers.

4) Switch to a business account if your looking to monetize the platform and you get better analytics. I have found now I have have 30K followers I get a lot of more attention then before and random messages from people.

5) Approach girls with lower or the same numbers of followers to collaborate... that has worked well for me to start a engagement group to post comments and meet up some potential targets.

6) Instagram is like day gaming in a sense... take a long term approach to be successful.

Just to follow up on post from the other day... Instagram Stories is great tool due the analytics... you can see exactly who saw it even if they are not following you (assuming you have a open public profile). Unlike a regular post in which you only see who liked it....this is like getting the details on the impressions.

Stories is important as you can see your regular viewers are and then target any potential single girls for communication. Interestingly I saw few girls I have had no contact in awhile but now knowing they are watching means maybe at some point later they might meet up again.

A hot 22 Ukrainian that I had talked to about 2 years ago but never banged recently started following me.... I'm sure the great profile and number of followers, comments, etc played a part in us reconnecting as we plan to meet now.

I would like to start working on an instagram presence for the purpose of game. I'm trying to start figuring out a strategy for this, here's where I stand:

- My goal is to get this account as useful as possible in the next four months. Suppose my content is travel pics - what's an amount of followers where I have more than most girls but not so much that it appears suspicious? 2-3k?
- I've created a new instagram account for this, the username does not feature my surname. For now, I don't plan to interact with anyone I actually know. Perhaps I could keep this identity difficult to link to my real name, Is there value in this?
- I have a bunch of travel photos going back to 2015.
How should I post them, some sort of schedule over the next 2-3 months?
I feel like it's going to look weird uploading that much travel content over such a short period of time, but does it matter?
I don't want to bother with captions on old content, will that be fine?
- I have very few (if any) decent pics of me and I'm also quite average looking. Does it matter? I take it I should limit the pictures I upload to the very best ones?
- I'm not going to have my friends or anyone I know commenting on my pictures, chances are it'll be just likes (if that). Will this look weird?

I could never get the hang of follow liker, I bought it after vinny's initial thread, even though I had 10k+ followers by that time. I tried it for a few days and it didn't seem to work well (i probably did something shit in the settings).

Anyway rishboy, how did you change yours to a business account? I think I might get back on the followliker wagon and start to push my instagram more in 2 particular cities as I plan to open a business in one of them.

-high quality pictures of you doing cool/fun shit. Pics with hot girls optional.
-cheeky/funny captions on the pics. Honestly I feel like this is as crucial if not more so than cool pictures.
-know your target demographic (ex. I play music, so I do well with artsy/hipster girls)
-have tight text game
-be patient with DM'ing and make sure once your target follows you, you are still posting cool pics, posting on your story of you doing fun stuff, etc.

I'm currently at just over 2k followers and by using a follow liker, about 5 - 600 are natural followers. For me I believe this is the limit for what still looks natural.

My profile is the real me, not hiding anything or misrepresenting myself in any way.

If I were you I'd post 10 of the best all at once, then schedule at least one a week.

Decide on a main focus or niche for your profile. Then have 2/3rds of the photos reflect that niche. The rest can be more day to day life stuff.

From what I can see quality is more important than quantity.

2-3K is fine, 10K is better.

Keeping the account secret from your real friends is best. You should use it for Game only.

All of your content should have captions.

You should upload one image every few days, and be running Followliker or a similar service to make sure you are getting likebacks on your images so you have good engagement.

You *need* to have photos of you, even if you aren't good-looking. You are using this to fuck girls, not entertain them with travel photos.

If you don't have good photos, take some of you looking as good as possible in cool locations.

Does anyone have experiences they can share with combining Tinder and Instagram. I'm unsure about how to present myself on Tinder to best reach my goals.

My main goal currently is to grow my social circle and social proof / pre-selection and not necessarily to go for the hookups straight away. I want to create an ecosystem.

In the past I've experimented with a purely 'looking for friends' profile but that got me very few matches. There has to be some kind of date / hookup / relationship angle otherwise not enough women will bite. I'm actually trying to perform a bait and switch, but the opposite of how most guys do it.

This might seem very convoluted but the reason is that my lifestyle has the potential to be propelled forward massively with social proof. But I need to push things along myself for a while before it hopefully gathers natural momentum.

I'm on about 3k Instagram followers right now which seems to be having an effect but I think is about the limit of what looks normal for my current status.
