Right, in order for Russia to get to Sweden, they would have to go through Finland, which even big mean Stalin wasn't able to do. I had drinks with a Lithuanian guy tonight and learned that Russia has a territorial “exclave” between Lithuania and Poland called Kaliningrad that dates back to the Prussian era. Its Russian territory and as such most westerners need a visa to enter it, I have no idea how much military hardware is there but I dare say there’s enough to launch an attack if push comes to shove. Hopefully the hype is only to prep the Swedes for a swift “social cleansing” of their shitty ethic ghettos and not the onset of a third world war.

Is it a coincidence that Swedish government talks about using military to fight the gangs and that we recently heard about supposed French plan of "cleaning the neighborhoods"? I think that there is a possibility that we might not get european caliphate and instead we get this gradual cleaning of cities. Maybe those on the top decided a different action, a bit different that we usually discuss at Migrant Invasion thread.

Also, in the event Sweden and Russia did actually go to war, I wonder how many Swedes would work with Russia? Russia could promise that they would work to get rid of the Muslim migrants. Of course they knew what was to happen.

In order to end the fruits of diversity enrichment while still retaining the "diversity" (cannot stop that) you have two options:

1. Orwellian militarized Police surveillance state

2. War with Islam one day

Possible that you will get both.

None of that include a stupid war with Russia - they had similar exercises all throughout the Cold War with the serfs getting scared of the boogieman while the true movers and shakers were certainly partying together with escorts and coke - and laughing about the gullible nature of the people.

The entire exercise is like a Russia collusion article that is set only to deflect of the more pressing issues.

Still I think that the mobilization of the forces is only partly a charade - partly it's an actual preparation of the true war coming for Sweden - those enemies are already in the country and they are numbering more each year.

Kaliningrad was only Russian territory from 1945 when ex-East Prussia was ceded to it under the Potsdam Agreement from a defeated Germany.

And it was annexed for good reason; as a Europe-leaning exclave of the USSR, it was armed to the teeth as an advance projection of forces if the Cold War ever turned hot.

It's an interesting scenario...Russia rakes control of Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Geographically it looks viable. Russia would need to up it's game to get the job gone, but it's not out of the question.

I'd disagree, Sweden and Norway are very difficult to take and hold. Sweden has vast forested areas and thousands of lakes. Norway is 90% mountains. Sweden actually has a military goal of lasting 6 months in a war against Russia.

Yeah, but that defensive geo also can work in favour of a stronger, slow moving force that uses it to lock up defensive positions.

Hypothetically, Russia would just need to control air space (which they could do with their ground systems), control sea access off the coast of Norway and then wait six months for a negotiated settlement.

Would NATO intervene? Maybe. But unlikely, given the risk of opening another front.
