I've looked into the board, and the thing to pay attention to is how they're all spread across multiple businesses and committees. So, say someone will be working for the NRL's board, who is also on various Aboriginal Committees trying to radicalise them against White Australia, whilst also being a Lawyer undermining existing Australian Law, whilst also being on a UN Committee. Meanwhile, another Board Member will turn up in propaganda videos for Refugee Immigration, because everyone knows playing Rugby League makes you a model citizen.

This is how committed they are to working towards making Australia Spiritual Israel, and this is where I get annoyed, as in the ((())) thread when people dismiss this kind of thing as Anti-Semitism.

Mainly because the Amish are forbidden to use beauty products. They can use any shampoo they like, but face creams, moisturizers, makeup, and coloring hair are all considered to be unnecessary and worldly.

Bosch covered it, but another shorter way of putting it is this.

Moves like the one Loreal made don't make sense if you work on the assumption that these corporations only care about making money (isn't that one of the most ingrained tropes of our society?).

The reality is that if a small handful of elites virtually own all corporations lock, stock and barrel then why would they care about competing financially with each other? Money is only relevant insomuch as what you can achieve with it.

All of these events make far more sense when you look at corporations as non-competitive entities pushing a political agenda. Cut "markets and profit" out of your thinking. Why does (((this guy))) care if you take your money down the road and spend it with (((that guy))) instead?

The Amish don't watch TV.

Therefore there is no point in marketing to them with TV ads. However, there is a sizably garbage bag wearing demographic in Western countries that does watch TV and it would serve these shampoo companies well to convince them that just because no one ever sees their hair isn't a good reason to not spend all of their disposable cashflow on beauty products just like the heathens.

I think companies do things for attention and this might be the case here. Although, France has a lot of Muslims and L'Oreal corporate office is right near an Arab neighborhood in Paris. A global company like L'Oreal probably has a decent sized Middle East business too.

The Amish don't slaughter their daughters if they let down their hair, the Amish also let you leave their religion without repercussions - they even let you go out and test the modern world.
