What is it about the English (and their colonies) and buggery?

A lecherous continental / Mediterranean will hit on a girl that is just a biiiiiit too young. Brit/Aussie predators will turnout prep school boys.

The average Australian woman has a squarer jaw than the average Australian man. Makes it difficult to tell the difference sometimes. More seriously, I think it was Churchill who said the British Navy was founded on rum, sodomy, and the lash.

Four women played the sisters on Charmed. The first cast was Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Shannen Doherty. This shows Milano, Doherty, and Combs:



Doherty was soon fired. Apparently, Milano said to the producers that she would leave if they didn't fire Doherty. They brought in Rose McGowan. This shows Milano, Combs, and McGowan:



Holly Marie Combs was also on the series Picket Fences. It was a very bizarre show produced by David E Kelley. It wasn't that popular with viewers, but critics loved it.

Doherty was on 90210. Her role there ended the same way it did on Charmed. I do find it interesting that Aaron Spelling fired her on 90210 and then hired her back for Charmed. With the exception of George Steinbrenner and Billy Martin, how many employers do you know who fired and then hired someone?

Doherty is also good friends with Sarah Michelle Gellar. There was some talk that Dohery might make an appearance on BTVS, but it never worked out for whatever reason:

I find it interesting that Eliza Dushku's most publicized relationship was with Rick Fox. He's not an actor, but a guy who played for the Lakers and other NBA teams. I suspect she wanted the Hollywood establishment to see that she was dating a tough guy:

I also think Alyssa Milano has another motivation for being concerned about sexploitation in the business. She dated Corey Haim for several years. She even worked to detoxify him, but it didn't work out.

The sex part is usually how actresses get the job. If they are unbearable on set because the ego-trip hits them harder, then no one wants to work with them. The producers have it easier - just bang them in the beginning and here and there.

By the way - there are a ton of actors and actresses who ruined their careers by insane diva-behavior on the set. At best very very big actors can afford being huge cunts and dicks.

Life however has a way of humbling anyone.
