Withdrew money from Coinbase to Revolut also on Monday and still not arrived

Both transactions state successful/completed

Huge number of users out there getting shafted at the moment. No customer support service or public recognition of problems they are facing.

That's correct, use GDAX--or if you're like me and the insider trading Bcash bruhaha ruined your trust in the site then give Gemini a try. Haven't switched any assets over yet but I've heard good things.

Thanks. I am leaning towards Kraken as it has a wide arrange of currencies whereas Gemini is limited to BTC + ETH only for now.

Kraken is super congested now. Last month 90% of transactions didn't go through. Better use gemini to get the BTC and then move them to an exchange with more alt coins, such as binance and bittrex.

I missed out on buying that big dip on Friday with BTC and LTC because Coinbase took so long to get my bank account verified. Yesterday they STILL hadn't gotten it done, so now I'm trying to get a credit card verified.

Also tried to sign up for Bittrex, but they're not taking any new registrations right now.

Wish I found threads like this before jumping in last week. For anyone else wondering what's decent, I'd recommend:

1) Create GDAX account and send them a pic of your ID, front and back at night (midnight PST works best)
2) Link your bank account to your GDAX account and send USD into your GDAX wallet.
3) Wait a full week for the balance to arrive to your account
4) Wait for a dip in prices and use the funds from your GDAX USD wallet to grab btc, ltc, eth, or bch because it will be instant
5) Thank me later

I'm using bitfinex. Send my coins from coinbase. Though I hear binance has more options.

I would avoid keeping any coins in bitfinex, they are potentially involved in major fraud which could shut them down






Long story short: They were robbed by hackers for a bunch of money, reduced all accounts by 36% to socialize the loss among all users, reimbursed with coins which they bought back for a dollar. They also sell "tether" coins worth a dollar and miraculously released an audit that starts days after any funny business would have happened. (I know I didn't explain that very well.)

All the evidence in circumstantial but it's pretty damning IMO.

If you're buying there and immediately transferring to a wallet you are probably fine, I don't like to keep my coins in an exchange regardless.

I've been using Coinbase so far because I have not found any other alternative, but their fees and problems with verifying bank accounts are pretty annoying.

Which large exchanger is not shit?

Poloniex and Bitfinex has been blocking and freezing accounts on a daily basis,
the morror stories with Poloniex and Bitfinex are neverending

Just wanted to bump with my own "Fuck coinbase". Initiated a wire transfer on 12/15 and still haven't gotten it yet. They say it can take up to 10 business days, it's been like 13. I work in tech support and love my job and I know what these guys on the phones go through, but I must have opened 2 or 3 tickets simply asking them for a status update or whether they at least saw the request pending or had my money at all...every-time I got back articles on the steps for withdrawing money via email. Also, upgrade your fucking infrastructure how did you not see this coming.

Anyways, I finally called them and told them "I think my account is compromised because I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone about where my money is". Guy said he would "escalate it" and now it's back to e-mail.

Fuck Coinbase.
