No - lawyer should never have been on that list in 2008, and definitely not nowadays. Sure, there are a few who make good coin but a) there are not many and b) most are unattractive and cunty anyway. Model/actress obviously only applies to the ones famous enough to be able to make good money in those professions. The rest, more or less ok, but still need to think about child support in the event of an "oops" even if you are broke.

I was just talking to a guy who quit his job as a computer programmer. He had been making six figures, although it was in Silicon Valley. He said that he was going to declare bankruptcy. He didn't care about taking money from a big corporation. The guy is definitely a train wreck.

Haha, your examples sound interesting, but I wrote that up in the context of marriage material. Certainly not checking credit scores when going for the quick Bang. At some point I wondered "Do I want to stay with this girl long term?" So I took a closer look at her spending habits, figured out it was debt or daddy paying for a lifestyle I would never bank roll in a wife. I learned this during my purple to red-pilling transition when marriage went from a possibility for me to a non-negotiable NO today. But there are a lot of dudes that want to marry that end up lurking on this site, so I pointed my comments in reference to a Red Flag Men need to understand i.e Credit.

In my early 20s I banged 2 girls that had damaged credit. The first was my gf at the time, and I found out she had bad credit when she tried to get her own apartment. She called me at work angry that the apt. community was requesting she put down 2 months deposit. She tried to spin it on them, but the logical me knew the reason they were doing that - she was financially childish.

The second was a 2 month fling with a divorced nurse, pretty hot but batshit crazy. She let her ex hubby pay all their bills and handle all the finances, but he stopped paying her credit cards and student loans almost a full yr before they split. She had collectors coming after her threatening to garnish her paycheck. I think she eventually filed bankruptcy.

Either way, no one is perfect, but bad credit is a definite red flag.
