In sane world I would say this is surely staged, but people are so stupid about relationships and social issues in west that I do't even know for sure.

If it's not staged then why does the girl agree to this? Is she dumb or totally apathetic about keeping or losing that guy?

Also the guy is like in top 10% of male looks judging by face, while the girl is a 6 or 7 and somewhere at top 40% at her age group. He is seriously dating down.
