Nah you're not alone OP. I've often wondered the same thing. My main purpose here is to learn tips on how to improve my game and share/read stories of like minded men. And provide snarky comments from time to time.

I'm in my 40's and I love chasing pussy. I always have really and I don't forsee myself outgrowing it. Maybe I'm an "abnormality". I dunno. I just know it what makes me happy. At the present I plan on chasing pussy well into my 90's. What of it?

I did the family thing for most of my 30's and I don't regret a minute of it, but it just wasn't for me. Being in a LTR/Marriage and having side pieces isn't my thing (no judging others who can do this). Feminism and other factors are rotting our society, there is no doubt about it. But unless you're running for political office or have some kind of major online presence to change this, what difference are you making? I have no interest in doing either of those, but I'll support the ones who do.

I had to marry my wife otherwise she would not be allowed to live in the US with me. As to why I fly around the country engaging in ONS... to stave off sexual boredom. To prove to myself that I can still do it. Keeps my game sharp and on point even though I'm physically slipping.

As for Steelex's ignore the politics manifesto... good for him. God bless the Ostrich. If I could just stick my head in the sand and ignore what goes on around me then I would be a happier man. I actually worked in political campaigns for liberals. I know the truth behind what goes on and I know what motivates them. My assessment is that it cannot be stopped. Even if they passed a law enslaving all men we would still just bicker with each other and fight over who gets to be top slave.

Alot of deep and soul searching shit on here.

Maybe it's the holidays, maybe it's seeing all the friends with families, friends married with kids, etc.

I went through a slightly bummed period this Thanksgiving weekend, it made me think alot.

It also made me realize my predicament isn't that bad.

Steelex you aren't alone - dudes on here changed, they moved from quantity/quality pussy to worldly causes. (More on that later)

Some us grow out of chasing pussy and want to chase money, others dont' have to chase money as much and want to chase pussy.

We all love banging sluts, some eventually want to bang quality females.

Some want to do both (me included). Fortunately I have a few plates that are just plain fun, slutty, and are fun to chill with (in bed).

I also have a decent main girl right now who I enjoy going out with.

Included are new plates, ons's, and new dates.


I'll be quite honest, I've had some slightly nagging thoughts:

"Where the fuck am I going in life?"
"There's no way in hell I could deal with a kid, let alone family."
"Can I even afford that right now?"
"Shit I can barely help myself out right now"
"Work probably is killing me inside, I need more money"
"I really need to work on this debt"
"This girl is cool, but there's not much [else]"
"Game is 24/7 so can I ever really give apart of me to a girl"
"Why bother getting married, it's bad odds, why not just have a kid?"

The thoughts go on, father time is maybe a man's biological clock, maybe it's apart of the male hamster.


Now about the change of the forum:

Yeah man it was totally about game, traevling, and bettering oneself, with women or in life.

I'd say some of the biggest pushes of change in the forum are the following:

-Obama
-The rise of the PC and SJW Cultural Marxism
-The Immigrant Crisis of Europe/Terrorist Attacks
-Donald Trump election/president
-The rise of the Alt Right
-The ever increase Autistic Right newbies that joined the forum after the meet up outrage.

I know quite a few gents here who talk about that on back channels, of how things have changed.

The forum has grown, it's demographics have changed, but you'll notice a certain subset who never post in the Game section and avoid like the plague.

Most who avoid the Game section are usually in the political section, rarely do you see the two merge, typically in the travel/making money areas.

It doesn't mean we can't still write and advise on gaming and banging sluts.

I've actually focused on spending less money, paying off debt and now focused more than ever on leaning out and getting a program at the gym.

I'll still bang my plates, I might dabble with a new chick here and there. Hell I'm finding myself writing off mediocre chicks and not bothering following up on meeting them.

I'd rather not go out and drink much anymore, focus on my diet, and look better.

This is why I have tended to avoid dating app dates. I feel like it creates almost a dead part of your brain where you become a robot avoiding human connection and just trying to bang. You go in with little attraction aside from maybe some sexual if you established that before hand. It's also why possibly I don't mind western girls as much as a lot of guys on the forum... sometimes it's refreshing to have an intelligent conversation after some robotic conversations abroad where girls either don't have the greatest education or don't speak the same language as well. People like Mark Manson, Travel Bum or even someone like RSD Madison(not the rest of RSD)... that's when it becomes fun and allows you "not worry about the script."

Unless marriage/kids/is your calling, (I know a few guys that really are made for it). Hold off for as long as possible, that will depend on your circumstances, what is/will be your SMV at 30, 40 50 etc. Mine is now higher than it was at 25, 30, 35... Im early 40s, I take immaculate care of myself, I love it, its like a hobby. I am working hard on making money to the point of obsession, I use the fact that I live in Australia to make money, and the crap dating market to save money on dating etc, trying to get Aussie skanks. I am going to start to go OS once a year, for me that is where I will be looking for a LTR.

At the end of the day, your damned if you do and damned if you dont. You will be dead one day, I just kind of realized this after turning 40, so do what you want to do not just whats expected because no one really cares, they never did.

All in all I think most men will feel a strong desire at some time, some 25, some 45, some later to form an LTR.

It is really amusing that even though you might remember being salty about how stupid the society is and SMV disparity is when you are younger, as you approach 40 and higher, you reallly lose little and gain everything. Seeing young women to be the silly, entertainment driven children that they really are (at least in modern generations) and that there are plenty of fish in the sea interested in all manner of guys and interactions, its strangely liberating. I wouldn't say that marriage is the worst thing that can ever happen to you. Divorce, however, is right up there just below Cancer, and the incentives are just way too high. You won't believe the number of women who divorced for "happiness". Current list of divorcees I've recently banged:

* Divorced because he was bipolar and she'd had enough crazy. She's still basically in love with the guy.
* Divorced because the guy didn't want sex anymore. She cheated on him. (Not a great blowjob from her, incidentally).
* Divorced because the guy had chronic health problems that were bringing her down. Guy is still in love with her.

There may be other circumstances. I'm positive that if you have a kid together, that counts. The state will treat you as married even if you never put a ring on it. Crazy world, huh?

To just answer OP directly: Yes, forum has changed.

A lot of vets who posted about smashing, traveling, and personal improvement have left or been banned. Many of the rest have grown older over the past 10+ years this forum has been around and their priorities have changed. There have been some newbies who have joined the past couple of years who have filled in a couple cracks but a lot of the traffic this forum gets these days is politics and culture based. A lot of the puritan shit you read about is from dudes that don't fuck.

Hell, Roosh himself who built his entire career and lifestyle off of having lots of casual sex with women around the world never even posts in the Game or Travel forums anymore. He posts in the Everything Else sections sharing culture and political stories.

As for me, I mostly just post in my fitness thread these days and thats about it. I'll throw in some game advice in a thread here or there but again - my priorities have changed over time.

See we all have a journey we are on. I used to read a lot about game and ask questions. Then I started writing a lot about game and giving advice. No my life has taken me somewhere else after that and I don't even write about game much on here anymore. Mostly because I've just been seeing one girl primarily for the past year or so and because I've shifted my focus more towards improving my body and my finances while enjoying the company of my girl and my friends.

As others have mentioned I agree it is age. Millennials are getting older and with that priorities are changing. We are becoming quickly the core workforce because Gen X is smaller in number. That means we are soon to be upholding society on our shoulders. It is a large responsibility.
