This industry is going to take off.

There is a huge market out there for thirsty guys not getting enough action and without the coin to pay for hookers.

At the start Sex Robots will sit between internet pornography and prostitutes but as they become more advanced they will put lower level prostitutes out of business leaving only the higher end "gf experience" ones.

While this still may be true, I think the actual impact of sexbots on male provisioning will be quite low, as men are taxed through Big Daddy Gov no matter if they actually pair up with a real-life woman or not. The net result will be less productive men, but social welfare taxes are still a 2/3'rds wealth transfer from men to women. The men getting the sexbots in the first place didn't attract even the dregs of women, who would prefer welfare to spending time with an omega male.

Yea, but that level of realism would insanely hard from a technical standpoint, not to mention the massive cost per unit, even with economies-of-scale. I think VR porn is far more likely to take the beta guys that women otherwise would marry out of the gene pool if it becomes even more addicting than regular porn is.

I say that as a man now over 5 weeks in on nofap. If you've ever used porn and tried to quit for an extended period of time, you know how hard it is. It will be even harder for VR porn.
