Haha, funny, that's the first time I've seen a CMB reference in a while. Wow, was that awful. I recall an ethnic girl I matched a couple years back who was one of the few that was a 7. She was a "professional" (in a prestigious field), early 30s. I was dating a lot of girls at the time, but this was one of the classic examples of why America is so often fail-city; this girl had a super traditional mom and I recall her telling me that she couldn't cook by asking me if I could! It was my first understanding of just how stupid this society is --- I mean really crystallizing it. I know several good looking girls who think they have value just because they're 7s, attractive wise. Yet they're 30+ and have no idea, or don't wanna believe they are actually fairly low value, all in all. How many more years is it gonna take for some women to tell these women that they are destined for catdom if not seriously trying to be good for a man by 28 at least???

I remember telling a woman once that the best thing a highly intelligent woman could do is to have at least 2 sons, because the intelligence will be higher in her progeny and the male offspring will do much more out of it. Education in that respect is hardly necessary for a woman and frankly many high-IQ attractive 7-9 women rather choose a life of leisure, marriage to a high value man, even acting, stripping or other fields which give them an easy coast by their looks.

This launched in Chicago one year ago. Looked at the statistics of the first 2000 admissions - 56% live in just Lincoln Park/Near North/Lakeview neighborhoods. Sounds like a Trixie carousel.

Women are still on CMB but they aren't as responsive as they used to be. I think as word of mouth has spread for Bumble that it's killing CMB because both are the anti-Tinder as far as attracting women who say they want LTRs rather than hookups.

Hamster wheel's gonna spin. But I would not approach interaction on CMB/Bumble the same way as Tinder. Douchebag rules aside, everyone knows Tinder is for flirtation and innuendo. Women on CMB/Bumble expect icebreakers to be more down to earth and subdued. Your mileage may vary.

I registered a few weeks ago when I saw this thread.

At the time, I was #6000 on the waiting list.

Somehow, I got pushed to the top of the list and as of today, "I'm in."

I don't know what happened to get me through, but it's either:

-I was messaging the concierge and she gave me the OK to skip ahead
-They let in thousands of people
-My pictures are super hot

So far the app has only showed me three girls. All of them are 24-28 and absolutely gorgeous career chicks. I have mutual friends with two of them so I know it's real.

I'll keep this updated if anything happens.

At a local university, I saw young and attractive students carrying fabric Bumble carrier bags. They must have received them at the Freshers' Fair - seems Bumble is targeting women in real life as opposed by through marketing online.

I've been on "The League" for almost 10 months now.

Some observations:

* same crowd as Bumble and CMB - I've seen the girls on The League on the other 2 apps, however it seems like it's only the good-looking ones from Bumble/CMB that end up on The League.

* CMB is definitely dying/dead - I can't remember the last time I matched with a decent girl on CMB. Bumble isn't that far behind. The League is probably the best right now

* I got a total of 1 date on The League. My experience has been that the girls, while being at the top of the attractiveness scale for professional white-collar women, are too fucking busy to even bother meeting up.

All in all, I'm not impressed. The thing that cracks me up is that all 3 apps are founded by women - CMB wrecked themselves when they decided to go with 'woman's choice' where women only see the guys that have already liked them. I expect Bumble to pull a dumb stunt as well soon enough. The League probably has a year or two before it goes downhill severely. All of them are targetting the same crowd, and quite frankly I've noticed BOTH men and women in my social circles are getting burned out with dating apps. Not sure if any of them will be around in 5 years time.

@Mace, I wouldn't compare SA to The League. The League is more the snowflake 21-25year olds who believe they deserve the 0.1% top guy because their own careers are reasonably successful (a lot of them do work for legitimate Fortune 500 companies and startups). SA, on the other hand, appears to be women who need money because they're straight up broke. I've yet to meet a woman off SA that had a solid job.

@redbeard, I know the feeling. For every app I've been on, the beginning stages are always the best as the pond hasn't dried up yet. Give it a few months and my guess would be it'll start feeling like Bumble. Regardless, I wish you the best!

I have asked this question myself.

Day game: English women are cold and don't like "street sellers" or Mormon street missionaries.

Seeking Arrangement is going to be the last positive online to offline experience that many men will have but the sex ratio here is closing. It was 11:1 women to men a couple of years ago, now the site is advertising to men a ratio of 4:1. A couple of older women on SA claim to have been receiving allowances over and beyond the average UK monthly salary so male thirst from the dry regions of online dating will soon destroy SA.

Which way next? I don't know but I think I will have to disengage from online dating soon by trying the quasi-online social network "Meet Up".

After a 7 week wait, I got accepted into the Chicago League today. I'm in the northern suburbs, and it looks like there's at least some female users in the suburbs...
