True story.

I actually managed to actually find a 23 year old (almost 24) virgin asian girl. Quite shy, thin and nice looking. Between a 6 and 7.5 on the HB scale depending on how you rate asian girls. She had lived with her conservative over protective parents her whole life and still does today.

I remember reading about hymens breaking from riding a bicycle. I figured any sort of weird force on the vaginal area with an intact hymen could break it.

The medical practitioner probably just saw her age and assumed she needed one regardless of her being a virgin or not. From a doctor's point of view, he probably assumes all women coming through are getting the D fairly regularly. Most countries performing these tests do not ask if you are a virgin or any details about sexual history, they just strongly pressure you as a girl to do the test no matter what, with various propaganda methods. The age in which the medical establishment start pestering and scare mongering women about this varies from country to country. I don't know what the "normal age" is in her country to start getting these tests.

I do think she had some (non sexual) health issues last year, so the test may have been recommended by her doctor to rule early onset cancer out.

She answers all my questions without getting upset or being evasive. If I ask for evidence she gets it. She is the first girl I have known to be this accommodating with detailed responses and real evidence whenever I have doubts. Like I said before, she had no red flags in her behaviour or any signs of knowing anything sexual by expierence. I'm a sceptical person about many things by nature, so I'm the first to be suspicious if something doesn't check out 100%.

Nah, that's not how medicine works these days. They have hundreds of "guidelines" such as "female above age of 21 is to have pap smear every 2 years." When the doc sits down in front of his computer and pulls up the electronic medical record, there is a million check-boxes he has to check off before completing the patient visit and moving down the assembly line to patient #35 of the day. He's not going to spend time figuring out if OP's 23 year old girlfriend is the 1/100 girls who has never had sexual activity by that age, he's just going to see she hasn't had a pap smear and will recommend she does.

It's going to be the rare virgin to be on the spot and not only know that cervical cancer is caused by HPV and her lack of sexual activity makes it unlikely she is infected with the virus, but also have that thought process in the 1 second she has to either accept or decline the doctor's recommendation. In the vast majority of cases, the word "cancer" and the fact the doc is recommending what sounds like a pretty innocuous screening test is going to result in a reflexive "yes."

Alright, you had to have known the direction this thread would go. But honestly, what do you hope of accomplishing with this line of questioning?

There's little chance she kept a receipt even if it's true. And unless you've made some unbreakable vow to yourself that you're only going to marry a virgin, I honestly wouldn't give the girl an interrogation on the matter at this point. All you're going to do is drive yourself and her crazy.
