I just got the new Samsung Galaxy 7 a few weeks ago and I noticed a funny thing. When I have girls put their number into the phone, the screen opens a list which immediately shows them other number that begin with their same area code! So a girl will see things pop up like Anna Spain, or Tanya Blonde when they enter in their number! I'm all for being r-selected, but what does everyone think- is this too much?

^Sweet memories.

There was something to be said for getting same-night lays at parties prior to mobile phones or more specifically smart phones.

Back then you couldn't just put life on hold and play the field. Blow someone off on the expectation that you could just hit them up the next day on slut-app #5932.

There was a sense for both genders that you had to take the opportunities in front of you then and there. The difference between hunting and farming perhaps.

I suppose I'll take two approaches. If the girl is very r-selected I'll hand her the phone, and if she's clearly K-selected then I'll have her tell me the number.

I love typing in any area code now and seeing a bunch of girl's names pop up with someone watching. Makes me feel like a slayer. Except that I never met up with 90% of those girls.

Agreed. This also mitigates the risk of entering/hearing her number wrong.

There is also the command/frame aspect to it as well - telling her to input the number as opposed to requesting it.

There is a third aspect, which is why I always do it. After talking for several minutes, making out, etc., I rarely remember the girl's name.

So instead of asking her again, which would make her go apeshit, I just give her the phone for her to type in with her number. I've had some girls testing me by typing in only the number and then looking at me to see what I would type as her name. Then I just type something like 'afjafhaf" without her being able to see and ask for social media later.
