Bulked until 180 and now cut down to 165. Still have some leftover fat around my lower abdomen but apart from that I'm pretty lean, measured at 13%.

I noticed my game and looks were way worse when I was at 180. I wasn't huge anyway so the extra 15lbs were just unnecessary bloat around my face. Ideally I want to stay lean and still add some bulk and strength so I'm looking into recomp and lean bulk atm. I noticed girls like the shredded look way more than the bloated perma bulker. Unless you are super huge with a big frame you don't look good at 15+ BF%.

Got any advice for me ?

how old were you when you were 130 lbs?

RE: Lifter's Lounge
I've been focusing on improving my shoulders for quite some time now. I neglected them for years and it led to some pretty weak shoulders that would fatigue too quickly.

I used to flat out suck at incline bench because of my weak shoulders but in the past few months I have been doing that as my main chest exercise instead of flat bench and it is really starting to pay off. I also supplement this with a variety of shoulder exercises.

My favorite is shoulder "dislocations" I don't use a weight like this guy in the video:

I used to get all kinds of weird shoulder pain but now it's gone and I can incline bench way more than I used to. Slowly working my way up to being able to rep out the 100lb DBs in my gym.

I have also focused heavily on hanging style ab exercises which has flattened things out considerably.

Usually I run supersets because I don't like to spend too much time in the gym. I have gotten really efficient with my workouts to say the least.

It really pays to focus on your weak points.

16-17. Why?

So Muscle Barbie is apparently totally against steroids and claims to have never used anything except off the shelf supplements.

What is the psychology behind lying about steroid use? I know guys that have told me they are on gear but then publicly try to push this narrative of being clean on social media and to others. I think it goes beyond any legality issue.

I think a lot of it has to do with making money off of supplements.

Money. You can lose your supplement advertising contract for publicly admitting to steroid use.

I don't keep it a secret from anyone if they ask I tell.

RE: Lifter's Lounge
Squatted my equal PB of 137.5kg today. In sets of 5, 4, 4, 3.
The last rep of the second set was ugly so I didn't go for 5. So were last rep of the following two. My form felt good but slow through the middle of the lift. It feels good to be pushing it.

Now, I haven't decided whether to go for 3 sets of 5 before adding weight or to go for a set of 140kg. I think it's more psychological from here.

I'm sure someone mentioned this blog before but Chaos & pain is probably the most bad ass and redpill fitness blog.

If this article doesn't make you wanna go out and collect some skulls, then I don't know what will.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

Did some max outs today. Just broke into 400 pound club with a 405 squat also a PR bench at 290.

Hadn't heard of that one, cheers!

I think I've found the answer. Go for 140, as many as possible. More is more.

Gonna stop taking creatine. I like the effects but my hair is just pissing out of my head right now and my hairline is getting thinner.
I might take it again when I'm older or already have significant loss of hair.
I'm 21 right now and girls my age and younger are really anal about a guy's hair. I look pretty young so I can't pull of the receded hairline.
Sucks but what can you do

Dude I don't think it's the creatine.

Hell, there is creatine in red meat.

You're probably just going bald.

I have tried creatine multiple times. Every time I use it I notice a surge of hair loss and scalp itching on my temples where the hair is thinning out. It has happened 3 times now.

When I don't take creatine I lose practically no hair and don't experience shedding or itching.
For me it is no coincidence

CnP went from giving some pretty solid training information (that had to be taken with an appropriate dose of salt) to basically batshit insane. Fun fact, he apparently has been in a gay porno.

I feel badly for him, honestly. He's a very fucked up guy.

Yeah, he's got some fantastic stuff on training, but watch out for his "spot the tranny" porn.

That's awkward.

Welp, that's one thing I didn't need to know about him.

Otherwise, I enjoy the blog. Not sure there's anything to feel sorry for. He seems to be doing as he pleases between the blog, supplement company and powerlifting career. I've certainly seen weirder shit. Kai Greene, anyone?

I broke one of my gym's squat stands today because I dumped a bad squat on the safety pins. The whole rack bent about 10 degrees forwards and stayed that way. It was 345, so pretty heavy but not outrageous. I'm willing to replace it myself if it turns out dumping on these stands is a big no-no. But I can't find anyone experiencing this online and I've dumped squats plenty myself. The stands aren't bolted into the ground, which might be why this happened.

Well i got it, squatted 5x 140kg yesterday. Then a set of 4, a set of 3 and a set of 2.
I reached the goal I set around 3 months ago. So it's time to set some goals for other lifts since I've been focussing on squats.

Having reached it, I don't know what's next? (When you reach the summit, is it time to reflect?)
I believe I should build up to 3 sets of 5 with perfect form and mix in some higher volume work, say 3 sets of 8 at a lower weight around 120 - 125kg.

Sounds like faulty equipment. Those things should be able to handle well over 345.

Don't give them a penny. A commercial gym should be using commercial duty equipment, not ricketty little light-duty squat racks like this one.

The safety pins did their job this time, but if you're paying money for a membership, they need to provide equipment you can have confidence in.

Yeah, I agree. However Rogue is a pretty highly-regarded company in the strength training world which is why I was shocked the thing broke so easily. I wasn't sure if "dump to safety bars if power rack, dump to floor if squat stand" was some rule I never heard of.
