Tuesday morning:

This is just a woman being a woman, when she's involved with a higher value man not paying the requisite attention (in her mind).

A borderline would be distant, in the throes of a melt-down and/or self harm.

What is bi-polar? I have never heard of this condition outside US, maybe extended anglosphere.

I am in camp - this is just a young woman being a woman in a fatherless society.

Used to be called manic depressive etc. It's basically being either extremely "on" or "off" (elevated or depressive mood) with no middle or neutral mood.

Windom Earle, I can buy that. But her posts signal extremely histrionic behaviour, which is a co-morbidity with other personality disorders.

It means that the person's mental state moves between two extremes, "manic" and "depressive". In a manic phase, the person will have very high levels of energy, and often get a bunch of unrealistic and delusional ideas and have wild, obsessive emotions.
