What to do in Vegas?
Hey guys I just broke up with my girlfriend and I live in vegas. I have a nice place and job. I don't really gamble and I can't stand night clubs. And pof is bringing limited results. I make good money online, and offline. But I get very shy opening new women in public. I'm mid 30, blk male, not bad looking, even sometimes chicks think I might be a playboy. I like women of all races. Another thing is I'd like to find a gf or someone to date longer, but many people here are tourist here for a short time. Any ideas?

Seek out other black guys advice. Hitting on 'every girl in the club' twice over is a cultural staple.

RE: What to do in Vegas?
The post is a little confusing. Are you asking for things to do in general? Or are you asking how to meet women? And this is posted in the travel section so it makes even less sense, especially given that you live in the location you are asking about.

What did you do before you broke up?

Did you not have any interests or hobbies outside of that relationship? Ideally you would spend more time doing those things, both for their own sake as well as to get you out and around people/women. You say you are shy opening women in public, but nearly every dude on the planet is if he's never done much of it, that's normal. There is no way around doing some uncomfortable things if you want to meet new girls. This does not mean you have to stand on a street corner chasing women down and doing a clown routine, and you do not have to go to clubs either, but you will have to try some new things.

You can tailor your strategy to align with your personality. If you are a more calm and introspective dude for example maybe you like coffee shops or the Barnes & Noble. There are plenty of ways in these environments to casually begin a conversation that is (or seems anyway) completely natural. Or you can try the ladies working in shops and malls. Again, these situations allow you to initiate conversation naturally without pressure, you can talk a bit completely innocuously then go from there. I am frequently "looking for a perfume for my sister's birthday" in department stores. As a bonus those girls are often more feminine and sweeter than average.

Now, Vegas may not be the best for a couple of these example like coffee shops and book stores, or maybe you're not even into that- I don't know. But the point is you don't have to follow the standard path of going to clubs/bars/doing internet if those thing don't interest you. You need to look at your personality and interests/hobbies - and your local environment - and come up with some ideas that work for you.

Americans are dreamers too

@jetset this is it, I'm planning to get a gym membership. I have a nice condo near the strip and some nice cars, I guess the breakups in my last years really took a tole on me. I even went on a date recently and I was really out of it, feeling like a guy with baggage. When I was actually helping out my exs and ended up screwed over.

As much as it might hurt initially try to force yourself to get out a little bit and socialise with women in general. Try some new hobbies, plenty of different outdoors stuff would be great around Vegas or things like the gym, yoga, dance lessons anything where the focus isn't on socialising but the activity and socialising can come in time bit by bit when you're ready.

Jealous of the fact you live in Vegas, i would love to live there. Plenty of fish in the sea as they say.

Fremont street bars aregreat on the weekends: Goldspike, commonwealth, griffin, oddfellows. All except for goldspike for the most part have a hipster vibe.
Townsquare is also great on the weekends: blue martini, McFaddens and Stoney's on Thursdays which is ladies night, bunch of college girls
PKWY tavern on 215 and flamingo is pretty good on the weekends lots of college girls but some nights there's a white trash vibe.

You live in probably the greatest city in the world for pickup. Thousands of new people everyday come to vegas to have an adventure away from their boring ass lives.

You seem like a very introverted person, and you live in the best city that you can imagine to change into being a much more extroverted person.

Go approach every good looking girl you see whether she's in a group or not, and just start off with "Hello, you look interesting", or "Hey, you look cool, what's your name?"

Do a minimum of 20 approaches a day for 100 days.

Focus on one thing a week to work on (body language, eye contact, tonality, kino, etc), and keep a journal on things that went well and things that didn't.

Just go approach, have a focus on improving, and you'll change your life in 100 days.

Yeah participating in activities on the strip gets exhausting and expensive. The places I listed are the more local areas. Fremont is a good mix of locals and tourism but it's getting more hipster and trashy all at the same time unfortunately. China town is a hidden gem too. The golden tiki is an awesome place.
Great drinks great crowds

Not sure if serious.... You have access to girls from all over the States and the world for that matter who go there to party and gamble. Goose every girl you like until you find one who likes to cook and clean. Either make her your full time GF, or a side piece as you find more girls who like to cook and clean. Just make sure you make a mess each time one of them comes over so they don't get suspicious.

Yes this is exactly the problem. I think I have sat online so long (I do internet marketing) I dont even know how to talk to girls anymore. Back when I had my tattoo shop I met new hot girls daily.

I'd echo what pretty much everyone else is saying. To add to it, I'd suggest starting a log. When you put things down in it, it encourages you to go out more. I get down on myself a lot, but reading my past successes helps to encourage me to continue to put myself out there.

Yes need to watch that......I used to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week working from home......good for your bank balance but not for your social life.

RE: What to do in Vegas?
I second what JackFrost said, "go approach every good looking girl you see whether she's in a group or not, and just start off with "Hello, you look interesting", or "Hey, you look cool, what's your name?"

Dont even worry which direction the conversation go's, if you get dissed so what? The key is to only approach great looking girls as that way you can always rationalize that it is OK to be rejected by a model vs if you get rejected by a mediocre looking or fat girl the sting will be more severe. Also, the other recommendation is to target pairs of girls who are either sitting or just walking slowly on strip and looking around, that usually inficates that they are bored and willing to chat. Also i dont know what it is but in a pair theres almost always a very high chance that one of the girls is single if not both.

I myself dont try groups of girls 3+ unless there are obvious IOI's. Single girls can be hit or miss, usually if they are "just chilling" i may try to approach but if they are walking fast or concentrating on the phone it may require more advanced game so since youre an introvert for now just avoid until you get more comfortable.

LV is the best place I've been for street and gutter game. And I am no daygamer. You don't have to step into bars or clubs.
The game is between A and B as far as I'm concerned.
I met locals girls there.

Las Vegas is the Stalingrad of game.I'm perplexed as to why you would even do online there. Also I met alot of chicks looking for black dudes

What places were you hanging out? I hung out on the strip today not much excitement, I'm planning on trying some hotel bars later in the evenings.
