In June 2016, McGinnis managed to flee — with eight of her nine children — from the remote village in Mexico where she had been held captive. (Her eldest child, a son, had run away before her escape; they have since been reunited.)

Tired of begging for money and food on the streets of Mexico, McGinnis says she’d been supporting her family by selling coffee, honey or homemade ice cream. She grabbed what few funds she had earned and, that June, paid for a taxi to take her and her children to Oaxaca City, Mexico, where she made a call that would change her life.

That’s when she was able to contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and tell them what had happened to her.

After years of being abused, threatened and forced to lie, “it was so nice to be able to tell somebody the truth,” McGinnis says. “I was still scared, but it was wonderful not to have to lie anymore.”

She and her family spent two months in hiding while multiple agencies, including NCMEC and the American consulate in Mexico, arranged emergency passports for them to return to the U.S.

“Ninety-nine percent [of the accusations] are lies,” he said. “I’m telling the truth.”

“They’ve been manipulated and they’re lying,” Piette told a TV reporter about his children.

About the allegations that he was sexually abusive, he said, “I never raped any children. I made love to my wife. We were married.”

Pretty obvious this story was buried because of the obvious race-angle. Notice how all of the details of the story omit how the abductor had ties to Mexico, or managed to get his "wife" down there. There's also no mention of the victim's mother, who must have been insane to abandon her daughter with this man. Not to mention this is yet another story of a single-mom destroying her child's life.

Due to the politically incorrect nature of this story, people are willfully ignoring it. Conversely, when the tables are reversed with Black people over the smallest of slights, such as President Trump not saying the perfect sentence, then the "victim" sets up a GoFundme and is on course to reach half a million:

Eh, this seems to fit the pattern pretty well for this sort of thing. Teenage girl gets lured away or kidnapped, doesn't try to escape because she's too young and scared, gets stockholm syndrome, then gets bred by the abusive wacko for decades.

Of course we all know that our sympathy should really go to those millionaire female celebrities that had to spend 15 minutes sucking Weinstein's shmeckel.

We live in a world where, as a "victim", you'll get sympathy only if you have a race card (and naturally accuse President Trump of whatever you might invent), or are beautiful (e. g. Hard to know the truth in scenarios like this...but I'm inclined to believe her if only because of this part here:

An eldest child doesn't just run away and leave his mom & siblings behind if everything is peachy-keen at the crib. There was some serious fuckery afoot and the kid felt like he had to get away. I'm betting if you question the son, he'd back up most of his mother's story.

Agreed, this is a dastardly story and a horrific one at that.

Why the hell does Henri say the allegations are 99.9% false? That tenth of a percent matters and i'm definitely curious what the hell he means by that.

If this isn't proof that we need a border wall, nothing is. Disgusting we have a largely unprotected border with such a 3rd world shit hole.

No, I believe the story isn't receiving attention because of the race angle, despite being featured in People magazine. But her race did ensure she got lots of attention when she first went missing, but according to her she was forced to tell the cops that she wasn't in danger while her "husband" waited outside the police station with 3 of her children when she was 18 or so. Henri said that if she came back with cops or did not come back in 2 hours, "she would never see her children again." He used the children as blackmail to keep her in line and to stop the cops from looking for her.

She seems credible to me because of a few things.

1. Nine children means she got fucked very young. Way below the age of consent. Obvious rape/kidnapping angle here.

2. If you listen to her in interviews, she sounds like she's suffered through physical trauma. She speaks very slowly, almost like she's mildly retarded. That is a big sign of abuse.

3. Her oldest ran away, most likely to try and get help.

4. She came from a single-mom household, which drastically increases the odds of pain and suffering for anyone.
