If you ever visit Ukraine or Russia and want to find something to talk to your girl about, maybe their music, Ukraine and Russian singers are pretty much interchangable, Ukrainian singers play alot in Russia and visa versa, and these people love their singers, her's a list of some of them famous ones, who have been around for a while,

Via Gra (виа гра) is group is from Ukraine an all girl group of 3, been around for maybe ten years, very very popular, and these babes are hot, they have changed girls many times but it does not matter to the fans, they are still famous. I've seen Via Gra twice in concert, what a great show,

Valeria (валерия) she's Russian from Moscow, she's sometimes refered to as the Russian Madonna, about the same age and she looks just as hot, she's very famous in the FSU and she looks great for her age.

Ani Lorak (ани лорак) she's from Ukraine, about three years ago placed second in Euro vision, very popular, married to a very wealthy Turkish guy, but from what I hear they are ready to split, I seen her iun concert twice, what a show,

Sofia Rotary (офиа ротару) a Ukrainian singer, from Odessa, she's been famous since the 70's, she very very famous and kind of a national treasure, she is loved in Russia as well,

Ruslana (руслана) she's from Ukraine Lvov, about 6 years ago won Euro Vision, she doesnt play much in Russia, she is most likely not fond of russia, very famous and she's totally hot.

Tina Carol (тина кароль) Another Ukrainian, very popular, she just had a baby ans she's still hot.

I can name some more if you're interested, also it would be good to read up on Russian/Ukraine liturature, every girl here has read Anna Karinia, by Tolstoy, a great book that I totally recommend, Dostoyevsky, anything he has wrote will do, he's the greatest, a few books by N. Gogol, he is from Ukraine, also Pushkin, not necessary his poems but about his tragic life, and poems if that interest you.

Unfortunately, most Ukr/Rus girls my age (18-24) don't read much literature and listen to random pop music (Beyonce, for example).

I've found that its easier to just say you like pop music,ask her what she listens to, and agree that you like it too.

I'm not much knowledgeable on music myself. My dad for example, never listened to music.
A lot of the local guys my age listen to Russian rap..which is not my thing. Girls don't really expect to bond over music with their men, and I'm glad about it.

The one thing I might do is take a girl to a symphony concert. Its a good opportunity to dress in a suit...and these girls love to see their men dressed in suits.

Might be hanging around with the wrong kind of girls,a lot of the ones I know are very knowledgeable about Russian/Ukrainian/English etc literature. Helping one of my girls with her homework at the moment and she is reciting prose from English poets I have never even heard of

She doesn't have much else to say..

Deb, you should learn Russian and talk to them in their native tongue.
English speakers are a small part of the population and not representative of society at large.

Am I just looking at the world as "glass is half empty" and you're seeing it as "glass is half full"?

Last time I messaged 20 random girls in English I got zero replies.
When I did it in Russian, I got 6 replies.

Are you preselecting these girls somehow to ID English speakers?
I personally avoid English speakers. The one girl I met that was an English speaker was much more westernized and much more money/visa hungry than the non-English speakers.

Well I am a good looking guy, probably has something to do with high response rate.

I'm the opposite, I tend to steer clear of non-english speakers, English speakers here tend to be better educated and realise if they want to get out of Ukraine and achieve something in life, they need to talk the language of business
