Important note on that 14 year old transgender whoopsie from the 60 Minutes interview: the "estrogen medication" was given to him by his mother. He was not prescribed those drugs.

This would suggest very strongly that the doctors she took him to had suggested the usual course for the idiocy that is Sex Confusion Due To Fucked Up Family Life And/Or Hormones: wait until he grows into it, or grows out of it, and stop talking about chopping his fucking dick off until then.

My guess is that Mummy then couldn't handle 14 year old's whining about his body issues, and decided to secretly "help" him against the father's consent.

Also note the attention-whoring by the mother letting the fucking kid give his story, identifiably, to national television. The kid beams towards the end of the interview that he's looking forward to getting back to a "normal life". Fuck me, you think he's ever going to have a normal life now, when he's been immortalised in the Internet Memory Archive as the kid who couldn't work out whether he was convex or concave? That sort of dickheadery comes from parents, not kids.

It's a few decades since I was at school. I don't remember any transgender pupils when I was there. Ever. Here is another example of a kid that must be below the age of 11 (to mix with a 6 year old) being labelled transgender.

Mr and Mrs Rowe say the school's handling of the situation did not show proper regard for the possible long-term emotional and psychological effects for the two young children seeking to change gender, or for the confusion and concern caused to other people by the suggestion that boys are not always boys, and girls are not always girls.

LGBT campaigner Jane Fae, who is transgender, said Mr and Mrs Rowe had misjudged the issue, as children with gender issues need sympathy to avoid being bullied.

She said: "I have a child who took a lot of bullying on my behalf and that bullying was exactly the same - it was parents saying 'we have a right to an opinion' and they told their children their opinion, and having told their children their opinion, their children thought it was open season on bullying my son."

I agree with your post but have a question about the bolded statement. Not 10 years ago, this was even classified different medically, and certainly had no place being even considered with children. It's amazing this is in the Zeitgeist no less, but it's for sure a long dead canary in the coal mine.

I would say, there are genuine cases of profound and deeply held dilusion, to the point that the child is perhaps irraparably insane in actually believing that somehow magically he is something he is not. And a reminder we are not talking about natural born hermaphrodites here, which is a much more complicated and truly tragic situation.

I'd further state that no child benefits from being given ritalin; they're just having their pathways realigned from a young age.

As others have pointed out, a lot of this has to do with poor parenting and trendy psychology. Mass social experiments performed by the irresponsible.

I didn't know/see a single tranny when I was growing up in school. From kindergarten through college graduation; nothing. When I was younger, I did know a kid who was a bit off balanced, he was very feminine and had a high pitched voice, turns out, he enjoys dick. Big deal.

Even though that kid liked to smoke pole, there were only a few other people I saw that swung for the other team. When I mean a few, I mean 3. It became more prevalent in college as the school I attended accommodated more students. Even though that was the case, saw maybe 4 or 5 gay people.

Now that this shit has become more mainstream, it's as if gay people have popped out of the woodworks and started voicing their opinions.

Now, people who are mentally disturbed are coming out saying that they "should have" been born a different sex. Since everyone is so fucking PC now, it is now being engrained into our youth as a societal norm. Acceptance and even praise of mental disturbed individuals are now opening up the floodgates to much more perverse thinking.

Pedophilia will probably become normalized. Marrying your dog won't be a problem. And, incest will become a commonality.

Indoctrinating young people will these views and experiences make this all more commonplace. The kid in the article is permanently scarred both mentally and physically.

The kid's mother belongs in prison. What kind of woman would believe her child is capable of making a decision at that age that would affect his life in such a drastic way. He would become a social outcast, most likely made fun of by his peers, and cause him to fall into a depression with suicidal tendencies.


Edit: With everything that has been happening over the past 10ish years, things like this don't surprise me anymore.

Ditto, and I'll expand on this. I knew this kid from kindergarten. Probably before. He was BFF with the girls in our class. I have a vivid memory of him running around playing with the girls and even being slightly jealous knowing there was something special about chicks I didn't yet understand.

Anyway, besides this kid and another admittedly gay kid in high school...neither of them were bullied or hassled at all. I was fairly in tune with what went on, and it wasn't a huge school. There was zero harassment toward these homos. Actually, I never confirmed the former was a homo, but the writing was on the wall.

I'll go on further with this. I grew up in Hickville USA. All white (until high school when a black family moved to town, rocketing us to 3 state track championships, but I digress).

I had a couple friends in high school with Confederate flags in the back window of their trucks. They smoked cigs and chewed tobacco. The one played baseball and football. I also recall this badass friend got a bit of poon.

No one, not even us back country farm boy tractor driving hicks would ever have thought of physically harassing someone because their sexual orientation or skin color. And we were idiot testosterone-filled 17 year old dudes.

Sure, you have clicks. Everyone is insecure to some degree in high school and trying to find identity. But even when the black family moved to town, there was no harassing Jim, the kid in my grade. I can only think of a few moments where I pushed the envelope on a few race jokes, and it was only awkward because of this massive social pressure from school and media about how race isn't funny. We all got along fine and if I ran into him, I'd have a nice little catch up. We were all just trying to get by.

That's what I think most (95%) of Americans are doing right now. Just trying to get by. We care too much about our job, family, sports team, hobbies, girls, boys, etc, etc...to think much of race or sexual orientation or whatever.

And that's from a real back country hick.
