Hi, I know both, Manila (and not only) and Jakarta. I would have to tell something about them but before I would like to hear something from you about girls. I don't mean prostitutes but regular girls only even if you have to give her some little gifts or money. I don't consider the the beauty or fun of the city. I don't consider night clubs, disco, etc. etc. but only the behavior of the girls in relation to foreigners and sex. If you know well both cities, in your opinion what is more interesting? What are the differences about the behavior of the girls?
I know very well philipino world and I know what a pinay usually wants from an older foreigner but I'd like to know well what indonesian girls want from older foreigners. For example: if you chat with a girl for 15 days before your arrival in Jakarta and if she will accept to come to your apartment for some days for 24 hour/die, what will she aspect from you? I have spent time in both cities and I have never gave any of the girls gifts or money. None have even asked for it. If that happens in either city and you're white you are doing something wrong and should re-evaluate your approach.

I don't know about Manila but I went to Jakarta recently and none of the girls I slept with asked for money or anything at all really. One girl asked for taxi money and then later when she was leaving I was going to give it to her (since it's only like 2 dollars) and she laughed and said she had been joking. A lot of the girls bought their own drinks and none asked me to buy them one (although I still did most of the time, because I wanted to).

All the girls I banged came straight to my apartment (or hotel when I was in Jogja). I was only in Yogyakarta for two days, so there wasn't much risk of running out of girls.

Sure, the average Indonesian girl wears a hijab, but what of the average girl willing to date a foreigner from tinder? Probably less likely to be conservative. When I'm in a country where the women treat me well and the standard of living is low, I have no issue dropping cash. I will pay for dates, drinks, movies, hotels, even vacations.

When I'm in Western countries I expect the women to pay their own way. They don't have families to support or any real hardships. They have tons of economic opportunity around them and I know that I sometimes come across as cheap to some of them. I don't care much because they rarely treat me like anything special and they often lack in femininity as well. So... it's like tipping. Why tip a high paid waiter for bad service!

I was referring to handing a girl cash, taking her shopping, or helping with a family emergency or buying them a phone, etc. I did not mean paying for dates. I would never expect a girl to pay for her share of the date in the US or abroad. The amount is so small that it's not even worth thinking about. I actually am turned off when a girl in the west wants to pay. If a girl insists on paying on a date chances are shes a dominant chick and I try to avoid those women at all costs. The girls are like girls anywhere, if they find you attractive they will show interest.

It's up to you how you treat these girls, but I generally find Indonesian girls to be playful and not expecting money.

Parts of Kalimantan and Sulawesi are predominantly Christian. Other parts are mixed.
The amount of muslim girls wearing hijab in Indonesia varies per region. Also there are girls that only wear hijab a certain time of the year.

I actually did an exploratory trip where I stayed 2 weeks in Jakarta and then 3 weeks in Manila back to back because I had the same question as you.

For the sake of brevity I will focus 100% on the behavior of girls but it bares mentioning that on average your typical Manila girl will be significantly better looking then your typical Jakarta girl, where there are some hotties, but the average girl is pretty bad. My tinder analysis at the time would give the average girl in Jakarta a 4 and the average from Manila maybe a 5 or 5.5.

Behavior wise, here are the main differences I noticed

1. Jakarta girls are a lot spunkier and less submissive then both Thai and Philippine girls. They like to joke around a lot and seem to really enjoy sarcasm which is unusual for southeast asia. They can bit a bit of "ball busters" in the playful negging type way.

2. Manila girls are way freakier and more experienced in bed. Provided you would be considered above a 3 in the US or westen europe (not hideously fat or ugly), You will be able to get laid and get girls easily in both cities. However, Manila girls tend to give way better head, toss your salad, butt stuff, etc. Jakarta girls are more conservative in these regards, you may find a special snowflake (as I did), but the order of the day is usually gonna be them laying there like a fish while you fuck them missionary, no (or bad) head.

3. Jakarta girls tend to have better personalities and are more interesting. I fucked so many girls in Manila in the 3 weeks I stayed I lost count but I can't remember having any real conversation of substance with any of them , and it wasn't a language barrier these girls were just as dumb as rocks. Hi-so Jakarta girls seem to be more worldy. You might even find yourself enjoying time spent outside of sex with one of these Jakarta girls. 5. Manila chicks are anxious as fuck to show you off as your new "boyfriend" to all their friends and family. while in Jakarta generally its the polar opposite where they are fucking you in secret and would be mortified if there social circle found out they fucked you. While many of these girls are atheist or non religious or whatever, their parents are oftentimes strict muslims that would literally abandon (or possibly honor kill) them if they found out they were skanking around at the clubs and tinder. Maybe this kind of repression in chicks and them letting it all out on you turns you on.

6. Not exactly a behavior thing but should be noted many girls in Indonesia, including Jakarta do not shave their legs (and they have more body hair then typical asian).

I agree that Indonesians have better conversation skills and are much more fun to hang out with.
But it may also mean that you get higher quality girls in Jakarta than Manila (in terms of social quality, not physical).

On average your manila tinder slut isn't very educated or smart, filipino hi-so girls don't want the stigma of being a "white chaser".

In indonesia such stigma doesn't exist (as there are way less sex tourists) so you find girls from wealthier backgrounds on tinder, while uneducated girls are more conservative and would never go on tinder.

At the end of the day when there is around 20-30k girls in tinder in either city the average girl should not matter. What matters at the end of the day is how hot of a girl you can get into bed. This is spot on.
