G Man hit up Moscow, we need the real deal. I enjoyed your Latvia trip report and would relish a breakdown on this spot.

I do agree with MSW2007, alot of those places I would stay clear off. Well, maybe not - Helsinki is on my radar.

As soon as a 'new' locale becomes the to-go hot spot, it almost inevitably goes to shit.

I do visit some destinations that have been tourist magnets for years (Amsterdam, Chicago and Vegas among them, mostly for business) but by and large I avoid tourist towns.

Ever been to a place that was relatively off the map, only to return and find it's later gone to shit? I have, more than once.

Oh god... #22 Parati Brazil. Without a doubt. Next time I'm in Brazil I'm there. Right in between Rio and SP with the gals on vacation???? Food, fun, beaches, surfing in Trinidade??? One of the Rio posters mentioned it, but it flies under the radar.
