RE: Rebel Media Drama (Caolan Robertson, Faith Goldy fired, and Gavin Mcinnes leaving )
It's a tricky thing because they aren't making any money from the views of their YouTube videos, so they need a way to bring in money to keep the lights on. I guess petitions was the way they did it. To be honest, I never really thought people would have contributed, but I guess they have been. I don't really have a problem with it, although it would have been nice to have some transparency to say that you were really just contributing to the company.
It would be sad to see the Rebel go under; there aren't many conservative voices in Canada. All the other media sources such as the Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, and even the government funded CBC are tilted left. They misrepresent and misinform Canadians in the same ways that CNN does in the USA. It's really too bad.
As for that Faith chick, I can't believe she's only 27 years old. I honestly thought she was an older cougar. I suspect she'll be just fine and land another gig pretty easily. Hopefully she and Lauren take some good advice offered by Gavin and settle down soon. It would be in their best interest to settle down with a traditional man, rather than fame whoring until the wheels fall off.

I also thought that Faith was at least 35.
God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIwzRkjn86w

Levant sounds like a shitty boss, also a very dumb one who barely understands the concept of the company he works with. Also if his hosts keep on making interviews and trips he does not know about, then I guess that he does not pay them enough or does not have a clear contract on that point.
I would make it so, that I have to greenlight anything that they do since they represent the company while they work for Rebel Media. But then you would have to pay them enough. Infowars has such policies and they don't have ex-employee meltdowns. Alex Jones may be controlled opposition, he may have amassed tens of millions of dollars during his activity, but he seems to be likeable behind the scenes and his employees like him. Also whenever they split off to do their own thing, then they either are given an option of loose affiliation with Infowars or splitting amicably.
This Laura Loomer character sounds like a semi-SJW and by the looks of it - that is what Rebel Media may turn into. If you are an unstable, money-grabbing asshole who even works with SJWs like the Young Turks on some points, then I am afraid, that things will blow up in your face, because your personality shines through all the close contact and social media.

My guess is that he will transfer the domain registration to a new company and keep it going. I used to use Google Domains and Godaddy, but when I saw Godaddy starting to release SJW commercials, I knew to pull the plug.
Whether you agree with the Rebel, Daily Stormer, etc or not, the amount of censorship going on these last few months is truly chilling. Millions of twitter accounts banned. Domains and hosting companies blacklisting unpopular views from the entire web. Paypal and other processors cutting funding to Roosh and others. You don't need to be a fan of Hitler to see where this is all heading.
I think we need to get together a list of tech companies that support free speech and start USING THEM BEFORE WE ARE ALL DEPLATFORMED. Does anyone have any experience with pro-free-speech tech companies? Share the links if you have them.

Listened to the vid - quite informative.
Levant hired 2 gays - the one guy who "rebelled" against him later and his boyfriend. He claims that he gave them 1800 pounds for rent money the instant he hired them, because they said that they would be evicted otherwise. Then he finds out that they spent it all and so he gives them another 3000 pounds as an advance. Levant says that he hired those 2 guys because they interviewed Tommy Robinson in London and liked the vid.
Maybe they thought that they could piggy-back on some gay-untouchable stuff similar to Milo, but not all gays are the same. If someone instantly wants his boyfriend hired too and then demands an advance the moment I hire him, then it is a massive red flag. I find this plausible, because the "dirt" the guy dig out against Ezra were more on the scale of aggressive money raising and a boss with a hot temper.
Alex Jones does not even deny that he is now worth tens of millions of dollars - that's probably why his wife wanted to cash in as the cash cow got big enough.
Still - I find it truly staggering that they move against Rebel Media in the same way as against the Daily Stormer. This is not a good sign.
The Internet was 100% created and supported from Government funds, i.e. your taxpayer dollars. These companies should be regulated as public utilities. They are providing essential services. The evidence of "state action" is overwhelming, and a state actor is bound to respect Constitutional rights. These bastards have hijacked what is really a public good and use it to increase their own political power and further oppress the people. Even well established Antitrust laws aren't being used to break up these monopolies. Why isn't the Trump administration doing anything?

There are very few. Bitmitigate showed that they were willing to provide DDoS protection where Cloudflare wasn't. Not a single domain registrar has shown itself to be reliable. Perhaps that's the first place to start - we need to get together as conservatives and create a free speech absolutist, ICANN registered domain registrar. We should also build our own hosting platforms, for websites as well as a video alternative to youtube. We need our own fundraising services and payment processors. Everyone should migrate over to GAB for social media. We should also support Voat over reddit. Migrate over to protonmail for email. Move over to Brave as your browser. Search is harder, duckduckgo and start page are possible options.

There are problems with moving domains too. While your site might exist it can be throttled for views by Google and other companies. The current calls for censorship out of Europe and the US for online hate speech could be forced onto ISPs like they are doing to social media.
Either restrict their access through legitimate channels or face massive fines. The EU governments are strapped for cash and they would not hesitate to fine companies with billions of $$ in revenues.

Some of it is general overzealous reach of various companies that later gets retracted:
Jihadwatch by Robert Spencer got Paypal cancelled and then later reactivated again after people protested. I wonder whether that would work with Return Of Kings if enough of us protested? But on the other hand you don't want to be dependent on them too much if that is where the wind blows.
Faking a provider cancellation can backfire easily if the company responds to the contrary.

She tans a lot which has aged her skin. She also has an athletic background so the wire and toned look of her body makes her look like a toned up and tight cougar.
She better get on her marriage and kids thing, she is 27, her eggs ain't getting any younger.

Ezra's just doing what Jews do in a business setting (go for the money, lie and deny). And the Caolin guy is just doing what phags do in any situation (go for the drama, gotta be sensational).
Goldy did an interview with the Daily Stormer, which is a "gas the j's, race war now" website, so obviously hardcore Zionist Ezra is gonna let her go...
Nothing here is out of the ordinary. It's like.. I mean, there is nothing shocking here, it's tough for me to have any interest in it.

Here is Ezra Levant's interview with Roosh back in 2015 during his tour and all the controversy that came out of that. (Roosh starts around the 7:30 mark.) If I recall, this was one of Roosh's highest-profile media appearances at the time. I remember thinking it was a great interview when I saw it then, but with hindsight it doesn't seem edgy.

It's not that we disagree with the content created by Rebel Media - seems like the company is more hampered by bad leadership.

I would say that's a function of how much we have seen and how far discourse has come since then.

For what it's worth, Ezra has accumulated a lot of benefit-of-the-doubt credit with me, from his Western Standard magazine, his fight against the "Human Rights" commissions, his activism for the oil sands, his exposure of the Omar Khadr thing, and his position as a free speech absolutist. There's a lot of crap that would not have come to light if it hadn't been for his team at the Rebel.
As he says in his latest post "I’m a flawed leader who has made mistakes. But as long as you stand with me, I will still stand." I'll probably be sending a few more dollars his way.
