Here is the thing. You don't need the media. As Mike Cernovich points out, they need you. In light of this, I should mention that I am modifying my media policy. Previously, I had been willing to answer written questions posed to me by reporters in writing. I have now learned that they will never run those answers because they cannot use them to fit the Narrative. So, I will not be replying to any mainstream media inquiries that do not specifically, and solely, concern either Castalia House books, or games for which I am the lead designer.

No, refusing to engage them at all is the better way to go. As I said when people here were trumpeting Cernovich's interview on 60 Minutes as a victory: you do not win against the enemy by fighting on their home ground or on their terms. All MSM interviews by definition are on the MSM's terms. You have no control of the final edit and that's where the real power of an interview lies, because even if you run your words together the editors can still chop and manipulate it how they will. Even if you have your own cameras recording the interview it's weak counterpunching to put up the full interview, because the liberals watching the original interview do not care. It might be handy for your viewers, but they already know the nature of the beast so at best it's just preaching to the choir.

It boggles my mind that Alex Jones doesn't understand this either. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he did not go through the whole Kelly thing as a cynical win/win for the network and himself to boost ratings for them and himself. But even if he wasn't manipulating his audience, the alternative is head-shaking: a supposedly woke dude who distrusts the MSM got cuntstruck by Megyn fucking Kelly and made a serious unforced error by agreeing to be interviewed.

The more effective approach would have been to play Kelly along, get some unflattering audio (or ideally Skype footage) of how she thinks of him, and then post it right up with a shitload of commentary about how they are manipulative and want to bring him in to shit on him. That sort of allegation Kelly could never have refuted because the interview would never have been done. It was stupid, stupid, stupid for Jones to have taken to the MSM at all.
