In the continental US, it's either a purge or a second civil war soon enough. Take your pick.

(06-20-2017 10:16 PM)The Lizard of Oz Wrote:  The GA-06 win is a big deal. The Dems and the media were all in on this and even a week ago they really thought they probably had it. Instead, they lost and it wasn't even that close.

This outcome will have disproportionate effects. The Republicans will be emboldened to implement Trump's agenda. As of tonight, the odds of healthcare reform, tax cuts, and an infrastructure package are significantly higher than they were yesterday. This is good news for T's presidency, and a huge relief; a loss would have been bad and demoralizing.

By the same token, it means that this summer will be dicey. Irrationally, the Year Zero cadres will be much more enraged than if they'd won that one seat, and they'll feel they need to go all in on "obstruction". Expect to hear a lot more about Comey/Mueller and co. in the weeks and months to come. They're going to make a serious push for this. I think they're going to fall well short because the legal pretexts are so flimsy -- very tough to make it work even with all the will in the world. But it might get interesting for a while.

I agree. I wasn't feeling very optimistic given Handel is about as charismatic as a blade of grass and how energized the irrational leftists were by their hatred for Trump, but that makes victory all the sweeter. It's also a good demonstration of the "focusing illusion" in action - because the Democrats and the fake news paid so much attention to this district, they inflated its importance and even made themselves believe they had a really good shot at winning with all the out of state money and airhead celebrities, which may or may not have been true. Attention is causality in action.

This was a good win. I want them to sink into despair. I want their morale and will to fight completely destroyed. I want them to lash out irrationally (which they will, as you note - this loss will make them even more irrational because they see the country as "impure" and "immoral" for rejecting them, again). I want them to be so irrational that it becomes impossible for any self-respecting person to support them anymore. That will take some time, though.

Eric Holder is starting to sniff around for 2020.

Eric is no threat. We can roll out a toliet paper of shit he's done. Especially if Trump pulls out that Fast and Furious stuff and hits him over the head as a Globalist that helped Obama destabilize Latin America turning at least a few countries into violent hellholes. He should actually call him a Globalist publically since lots of disaffected progressives are cannibalizing each other over Globalism.

Eric would get at least 80% black vote just because he is black, liberal, and well spoken. I would not be surprised if he got 90% honestly, but that isn't enough. Most blacks are either jealous of Trump or too put off that he is nothing like Obama (based on the fact most of us have to be many times more polished than our white peers to get the same success in life, the Fratboy Chad effect), when that is not a fair comparison in this situation.

Statesmen like FDR, Lincoln, or Obama are usually best compared with each other. Jackson, Trump, Teddy types are better compared to each other as well in regards to decorum, etc. Perhaps someday a rootin tootin black dude that is politically incorrect and swears will be president, so that they can chill the fuck out on that.

Trump has enough black support to deny 100% democrat black voter base, which would be important because Hillary did not get enough black voters to come out, like Obama did, which Holder could. Trump has enough Latino vote to prevent 100% vote for Democrat as well. How Holder would do with Latino voters is too far to guess on, because there is no telling how they feel about him and that F&F scandal, but I am sure he will be on an open borders platform to woo them over, which will completely fuck him over on moderate white vote and conservative black and Latino vote.

More importantly is the rule of thumb that favors incumbents regardless of the political wind. It is very hard to unseat an incumbent.

I sometimes think the whole manosphere including RVF are controlled opposition. I don't want to be and none of us do either. However, if the elite knows there will be opposition, they would want it to be channeled into spaces where we just sit around and talk, and then go out and try to get laid, rather than becoming the kind of active revolutionaries that could actually harm them.

For good measure, the elite would want to encourage a number of opposition schools of thought, each of which are at least mutually exclusive, and preferably with active hostility between them, as there is between feminism and the manosphere. This way no single opposition group can grow to achieve critical mass against the elite.

I don't know if the elite are smart enough to engineer this kind of thing. I do know this kind of thing has happening in history, and has been portrayed in fiction many times, both regular fiction and science fiction in future human and alien universes. Obviously the idea is out there and would at least occur to the elites.

Thank God that Donald Trump broke through. Whatever the actual strategy the elite is pursuing in terms of channeling and controlling the opposition, I think the Trump actually broke through and constitutes real, effective opposition that is shaking up the elite. Naturally now that their plans have been thrown up in the air, they are re-calibrating, and will likely have some effective counter strategies. Heck, they could easily decide that their best strategy is to support nationalism and traditional values. It works for North Korea, so maybe that's how they should play the game elsewhere.

Elite gonna elite.

Edit: Maybe this represents our best strategy as men. The elites know that they have to guard against the masses getting fed up until they riot and hang the elite from the lamp posts. Socialism is their attempt at managing this. Bread and circuses was the Roman approach. It's a serious concern that they have to address. There are limits to pure totalitarian oppression. The system has to provide at least some positive incentives to the masses to go along.
So, if men are being emasculated and exploited to the point where they MGTOW and refuse to be productive or to father children, this constitutes a new form of rebellion that upsets the elite's apple cart. A shift in direction that makes things better for men is the obvious solution. Time to go Galt and party poolside until things change for the better.

I'm the tower of power, too sweet to be sour. I'm funky like a monkey. Sky's the limit and space is the place!

He does have some personality challenges for sure, just like Cain did. He is more likeable than Cain, but he is alot more like a Jesse Jackson running for president and that shit isn't going to fly in today's political climate. If he tries to shift more right toward the center, he will be called out hardcore for being a hypocrite liberal in sheep's clothing.

Obama had a slight advantage by being a huge fan of Reagan and being on record as a neocon votes wise. Aside from his dynamic and rare speaking style, he had moderate voter appeal from the beginning. He shifted super far left on his second term, and I betcha white folks did not forget that nor appreciate it either. They will not forget about that on Eric's turn either, since they are buddies. Eric is on record of being very liberal from the early parts of his career. He cannot flip flop and get away with anything.

As if Trump needs to constantly watch and comment on every little move in various industries on Twitter like a news outlet.

Those folks at Ford have already calculated their risks in testing his gangster. They have been warned already. I'm pretty sure he heard about it in one of his briefs and nodded his head. He won't forget about it when it is time to talk tariffs.

Here in China Ford has been pushing out Ford Edge and Focus vehicles like crazy, trying to get more Chinese to buy them. Might have something to do with that too. Headlines don't always tell the full story. If they did the math on a Trump penalty, it might still be more profitable. Trump might even have to wait and see what they are doing before figuring out how hard to tax them or not at all.

Call me naive, but I really, really expected a lot more from Trump, also when it comes to Russia, the Middle East and Economics issues. As for the US-Chinese issue I expected some kind of restrained confrontation between both parties, but as far as I can see, the relationship has been very smooth.

Because campaign talk and vitriol was to get everyone's attention. Right now, both sides are talking and cooperating very well so far. *knocks on wood*

If you have an older child you don't want to always be repeating yourself when you have issued a threat. Same applies to Ford or anyone else. Trump is going to try to get the best deals for the country and so far he has kept his word. Is he going to stop 100% all forms of outsourcing? Hell no and you would be very naive to think that he can or would burn cycles trying to snap every company's ass that tries it this year or next.

Same thing that applies to GE moving some operation to Canada.

However if too many start moving and think they can bluff Trump because they think he is too bogged down in Russia accusations, he would need to push back with a bill proposal or two. More devastating would be to offer a tax rebate to their competitors that stay. Bet most of them would think twice on that.

Do we really need to go over everything Trump has already accomplished in under 200 days? Maybe he can squeeze and 8th work day into his week. Laugh

My take is that the issues you brought up aren't the type to be solved overnight in one fell swoop.

That BBC article is a bit misleading.

They don't sell a lot of Focuses (Foci?) in the US as it is, but sell a lot of them other places. In fact, the article already says they already make them in China.

Have a nice day.

I put all my winnings from the election down and even took out a high interest loan for this rare Pepe.

It feels good for it to be acknowledged man.

Trump needs to get his neocon dogs like Mattis and McMasters back in order and de-escalate this Russian conflict.

(06-21-2017 02:37 PM)Brother Abdul Majeed Wrote:  Are you just stupid? The Republican party hated Trump. He took it over with a revolution that was supported by "we the people", not by party insiders.

It's a nice script, but his revolution wasn't powerful enough to remove any of those Never Trumpers from the board of play, and all they have to do is wait him out.

His supporters pretend he has Supernatural Agency when it suits their Cult Of Personality, whilst simultaneously-suggesting that he's helpless in the face of Negative Influence when it doesn't, which is the kind of Doublethink I loathe from the left.

So, let's take the Georgia Election. Handel beats Ossoff, which cues Trump's fanbase posting multiple 'Liberal Tears' threads and everyone laughing at CNN Anchors looking grumpy, or random celebrities losing their shit on Twitter.

Winning!

To me, it's all empty distraction. The question his fans aren't asking is this:

Is Handel 'Pro-Trump' or 'Cuckservative'?

There's so much disinformation about that it's almost impossible to tell. Before the election, Buzzfeed, whilst hoping her opponent wins, offered her a grudging respect for distancing herself from Trump through the campaign.

Quote:It was the most Trump’s name was mentioned during the half-hour event. Handel avoided reference to the president in her remarks. (“My job is to represent the people of the 6th District,” she told reporters the night before when asked about her relationship with Trump during a campaign stop at a local tavern. “I’m not an extension of the White House.”)

“She’ll be independent, there’s no doubt in my mind she’ll do that,” Ed Painter, leader of the 14th District Republican Party and one of the “Make America Great Again” hat wearers in the crowd, told BuzzFeed News. “I don’t know that she’ll do it the way I like it. But she will do it.

If only Handel were running in Painter’s district. Trump won there by more than 50 points

The second question I'd ask is, well, there was just an election in Virginia with a genuine Alt-Right candidate - Corey Stewart - running against a known Cuckservative - Ed Gillespie.

Stewart served as State Chairman for Trump's campaign, and has made controversial statements that would go against Civic Nationalism, but aren't out of line with most Alt-Right thought.

The Cuckservative won the election, narrowly.

So, why did Trump tweet his support for 'Independent' Handel and not repay Stewart's loyalty of helping him into office by doing the same in that election?

He could have easily put Stewart over the top, and chose not to.

So, I researched further back into October 2016.

Quote:Donald Trump’s presidential campaign fired its Virginia state co-chairman, Corey Stewart, on Monday after he took part in a protest in front of Republican National Committee headquarters, a move with repercussions in both the national campaign and the 2017 governor’s race.

The messy parting of ways came just weeks before the election and was the latest sign of turmoil in a campaign that has recently been in a free-fall. Stewart and senior Trump campaign officials blamed each other for problems in Virginia, where polls show Democrat Hillary Clinton leads comfortably.

“Former Virginia State Chairman Corey Stewart is no longer affiliated with the Donald J. Trump for President campaign,” said Trump’s deputy campaign manager, David Bossie, in a statement. “He is being replaced, effective immediately. Corey made this decision when he staged a stunt in front of the RNC without the knowledge or the approval of the Trump campaign.”

Stewart acknowledged that he was let go for supporting the rally in front of RNC headquarters in the District, which was aimed at warning the national party against abandoning Trump. He said he did not organize the rally but wholeheartedly backed it and helped spread the word about it.

Shortly before the rally began, Bossie texted, warning him to stop the rally, Stewart said.

“He threatened me,” Stewart said. “I let everybody know he was threatening me. They said, ‘there are going to be dire consequences’ unless I shut down the rally.”

Stewart said he did not respond to the message but knew that it meant that he would be fired if he went forward with his plans. He went ahead to make his point, that establishment Republicans — he referred to them at the event and on Facebook as “establishment pukes” — were trying to undermine Trump.

Stewart said he never heard back from the campaign afterward and only learned from a media report that he had been fired.

“I wanted to call them out and, look, there’s not a lot of time left,” Stewart said. “The truth needs to be told. Paul Ryan, the Mitt Romneys, the Reince Priebuses, they don’t want Trump to win. They’re sabotaging the campaign.”

Stewart was the only prominent Virginia Republican to defend Trump after the release last week of a video in which the presidential candidate made lewd remarks about women. Trump “acted like a frat boy, as a lot of guys do,” he said at the time.

Stewart complained that money raised by Republicans in Virginia was spent by the RNC on down-ticket races in other states.

“We’ve been raising money in Virginia for Trump, and the RNC has broken all its promises to help its campaign in Virginia because Virginia doesn’t have any critical down-ticket races,” he said.

See how Trump's campaign repaid Stewart's loyalty with dismissal for attacking Cuckservatism, and note that what Stewart was suggesting about Establishment Republicans is exactly in line with Alt-Right and Alt-Lite thinking?

I know, I know: shut up and don't ask these kind of questions.
