It's going to be a long night, but I think the tories will squeak by on this one and form a majority. By the next election May will have to go and they'll have to start really appeasing the nationalists or else they are toast.

A potential upside is if the Conservatives only need a few more seats for a majority, they could have to form a coalition with the DUP, which would push the Tories further to the right if they had a decent amount of bargaining power.

More positive news: While Labour have held the first two seats, Newcastle and Sunderland - always safe Labour seats - the swing to the Tories in both cases have confounded the exit polls.

Even if there is a majority, I hope May resigns.

There is a nationwide swing to Labour, it seems even the exit polls are too optimistic for May, and yes I know they are mostly the early safe seats, but cabinet ministers have lost their seats.
