I am sure its been mentioned in this thread before but for some reason I cant find it. Does anyone have any recommendations for an intensive Russian course/class in Kiev? I will be going to Russia for several months later this year and thinking about doing this to brush up a little and get more practice. I would imagine it would be cheaper in Kiev v Moscow for example too

I've been in Kiev last summer (also met lots of RVF guys) and it was good but the nightlife was kind of disappointing, way too many pro and semi pro around and too few normal girls
In the few clubs that had normal girls quality was lacking. During the day it was amazing though, so many hot girls in the subway, bus stops, cafes, parks, hydropark ecc but I was too much of a pussy to approach them

Despite the flaws, I liked it because you can definitely dates up and there are lots of nice, sweet girls around but you need a social circle to get to know them, you can hardly meet them in clubs.
Ukrainian guys were very friendly though so I think it shouldn't be that hard to break into some social circle as long as you stay long term

So, here goes my first post on this forum:

I'm gonna be in Kiev for most of the summer, work-related stuff. But I will also have lots of free time, and being newly single, I thought I'd ask for some advice on here.

What websites/apps do you recommend, game-wise, for Kiev? From reading this thread, the nightlife seems to be full of semi-pros and thirsty sex tourists, so it might be better to meet the chicks online and arrange stuff before arriving there. So which online services have a good female-to-male ratio, and what works best for you personally?

(I have Tinder, which I haven't used in awhile, but that's it. I also use Couchsurfing a lot on my travels, but I'm not sure if it works for picking up chicks...also don't want to get banned for using it as a sex app)

depends on your targets I guess, the older they are the more of a LTR they will want (already from 25yo and up!)
Also, not that straightforward to find those that speak/write in english. When you do, they will already be interested in foreigners implicitly.
Most of them also screen for sex tourists, so get your background story right.

Hi Guys,

I will be in Kiev for 10 days end of the month. I will write a full report. I know 10 days is not a lot of time here so I'm not expecting anything other than having fun. This is my break down for my day-by-day plan. Please give input / feedback.

Day 1 (thurs): I land at 17:40, Im staying near Independence square. Ill drop my stuff off, and immediately start day gaming, Around the square, and Khreshchatyk, ill look for cafes I can date girls around here too. Heard Nikka bar is good and right next to my place. Hyatt bar also looks good.

Later on I went to check out Avalon so I will go there around sunset, whilst its nearby, check out st voldomyrs. Then Ill go back and sleep for a big day tomorrow.

Day 2 (fri): Again daygame the same area, all day, no Idates just number farming for the evening dates or tomorrow. At some point I want to check out the vogue cafe, I like fashion and something I want to check out. At night ill go to Carrabbeann club.

Day 3 (sat): Day game, same area. At night go to Chi before 12:30.

Day 4 (sun): Day Game same area.

Day 5 (mon): Day game. Check out Hyatt bar at night.

Day 6 (tues): I want to do some site seeing, so will check out St Andrews, St michaels and st Sophia, theyre all fairly close together. Will do more daygame after.

Day 7 (wed): Go check out Perchersk Lavra, do more daygame. Go to shooters at night - good on a wednesday I heard?

Day 8 (Thurs): daygame.

Day 9 (fri): Daygame then check out UBK club.

Day 10 (Sat): Daygame. Go to Chi again?

Day 11 (Sun) I leave in the evening. So just do whatever I havent done or just keep this day open to whatever.

I will be reading Bange Unkraine before I go. Ive also started to plan answers to common questions:

Why are you here: Im here because my ex gf was Ukranian, she said great things about the place so I wanted to check it out, I already know I will be coming back.

How long will you stay: Im here for 10 days, But I know I want to come back.

I will also say I want to learn the language, I will say that I will be back.

Also im trying to pipeline using mamba.ru

What do you think? Looks like im daygaming at the same place the whole time, should I switch it up, also are these clubs the best ones to go to on the days? Anything else I should be doing whilst im there?

Haha, I created an account on Mamba.ru and already got a bunch of profile views and messages from 30-something women who seemed slightly desperate - same as POF, from what I know. Also noticed that others use the site to look for a sugar daddy. I suppose I'll filter my searches for below-30s and English-speakers.

I spent July and August in Odessa last year. No difference between July and August: plenty of people.

I visited in April to find a place and things were still quiet and the beach clubs were still being assembled.

I didn't go in May or June, so I don't know what it's like then, but I think it would still be good.

So, my first couple days on Mamba.ru were pretty noneventful (although another site landed me two dates...let's see what happens), and I keep getting offers to upgrade to VIP status. Would you guys recommend that?

(It seems non-VIP users can't filter their searches for English-speakers only, plus a lot of chicks are only accessible to VIP users, so this would save me a lot of time and effort. Is it worth it?)

This is probably my main reason for trying out Mamba and pre-arranging dates before this trip. I'm genuinely curious about the post-Soviet countries and people. When I'm in a new country, I love doing touristic shit and exploring the local culture a bit - using all that time for daygaming and spam-approaching women, every hour of every day, sounds pretty boring and wasteful. Personally, I'd rather spam-approach online...

Spending one day in Ukraine, leaving tomorrow. Unfortunately arriving in the city with a huge delay and didn't do day game but I went to clubs. The situation is totally opposite compared to Poland: if you are good looking, dress well and you are from a wealthy western country you can definitely stand out here in clubs and girls are open and even invite you to approach with obvious eye contacts. I had fun, a couple of make out and contacts, hope to seal the deal when I come back. I was so surprised coming from a place where girls don't care about look, status and money (Poland), here the competition is not existent and girls seem to prefer western foreigners (the ones doing their homework): sweet surprise here in Ukraine and seems to be a good environment at least for my look and game.

I explain better the point: there are a lot of sexual tourists from Middle East and a big percentage of them has a beard. Apart from the pro, normal Ukrainian girls don't like them. Hence if you have a beard you will be instantly identified with those people, even if you dress well, you are from West and have good/model look. If you think about that, even Roosh was highly regarded in Poland but he was struggling in Ukraine. Then as many of you already know in Ukraine you have to dress well, possibly with serious fashion brands and good shoes.

Yes many have said that looks are unimportant in Ukraine, but that is not really true, although they are less important than most other places.

Beards have becoming very popular in Ukraine with girls, maybe it's something to do with the fact that many of them have daddy issues, so a beard helps paint the picture of a replacement father.

Beards become less attractive to women as they get older and start looking for "Mr Proper"

I would not recommend many of us to have one in Ukraine, better to keep looking as youthful and fresh as possible

I went to Kiev march 2016.

I couldn't pull in clubs , street hunting and shopping mall was the best.

Well, that's pretty normal....finding a hot, genuine, down to earth, not gold digger girl in Kiev is hard, especially for foreigners since they don't have a social circle and don't speak the language fluently.
The few guys that manage to get them have my respect. Most foreigners get some sort of hot gold diggers that want to be wined and dined, taken to vacations to post pics on instagram ecc
