Anyone watching the Hugh Hefner documentary on Amazon? It's pretty good but they whitewash a lot of the controversy. Aside from the broads, I would have hated Hef. He's practically a communist...except when the government wants HIS money of course.

I watched the whole thing. I don't buy it.

Reason being, I read Down the Rabbit Hole by Holly Madison. I'm on Holly's side. It says Hugh Hefner hasn't fucked a chick in decades. He makes them put on pajamas and dance around while he jerks off. His whole harem is paid for.

It also says that most of the work playboy as a business did, it just used him as the figurehead. He's too big of a jackass. He was set up to look like some revolutionary dude people should model their lives after, which was invented by a corporation. Much like how the show talks about selling the "playboy lifestyle" which is just made up.

She was on Stern talking about how Hef would make them justify their weekly stipend. And the mansion, apart from the public entry, is falling apart - with mismatched and broken furniture and filthy rugs.

Several people talked about how Hef used the girls as his personal whores. It's the reason companies would pay a fortune to rent out the grounds for a party. Hef knows how to supply the "entertainment".

Of course not. But it leaves open the question of who exactly Playboy is for.

This will only further harm Playboy's dwindling relevance and popularity.

Of course the girls get paid.

I have no trouble believing that it was social engineering project by some think-tank. They financed feminism as well - first magazines were even openly CIA financed and created. It would fit well to promote this on the side of men as well.

Still - he did not fuck anyone since decades? I think that there was a time before Viagra where he actually stopped fucking, but it all came back with the advent of the boner-drugs.

In a way that would fit well with what is seen in the Playboy mansion. Plenty of other men who went to the parties got to fuck though.

When did Playboy start hiring feminist writers? This same author wrote about "pop misogyny". How in God's name did a magazine that was geared towards men end up having an article about "Toxic Masculinity"?
