Many quite appropriate comments have already been posted regarding the brainwashed idiot cowering on the floor mumbling about the attackers not being Muslims. Something else is rather salient to me and I haven't seen it addressed thus far. Why is everyone on the floor? How is that going to help you if a group of attackers armed to the teeth enters? It's a spot on representation of how the state sees us: helpless sheep that need to be managed by (often incompetent or declawed) police forces.



They are in a bar or a restaurant, right? Plenty of tools available that could easily be converted into make-shift weapons. I'm sure a few knives could be found, maybe there are pool sticks, I'm sure there are a ton of bottles, what have you. May not help you at all in case the fuckers are heavily armed wearing body armor but it's better than cowering on the floor in fear and repeating the mantra 'it's not the fault of Islam'.

I would completely ignore any police office ordering me to lay on the floor. Instead I would start searching for anything that could be turned into a weapon.

One insight TLP had: you know why the 9/11 attackers walked onto their planes armed only with box cutters?

Because they had a pretty good idea their targets would not be armed and would not attempt to overwhelm their opponents, that, supposed American reputation for fearlessness notwithstanding, they would stay the fuck down and follow orders. Partially because they knew hostages had been reassured that in the event of a hijacking, they should sit back and try to remain calm while the negotiators worked their magic and government handled the problem.

By comparison, the one time a pack of Muslims successfully hijacked an El Al flight, they brought pistols and hand grenades. And never did it successfully again. Part of the reason they stopped trying was because of attitudes like those of the only pilot to ever foil a midair hijacking, again an El Al case:

The passengers, he said, were all belted in and would be fine.

Bar-Lev lifted the nose of the aircraft, dipped one of the wings, and then tilted the nose down to earth. The plane began to plummet, dropping 10,000 feet in a minute. When he pulled out of the dive, Kol charged through the door and killed Argüello.

The second terrorist, Leila Khaled, a Palestinian veteran of previous skyjackings, rolled a grenade forward but it didn’t explode. In her memoir, Bar-Lev said, Khaled claimed to have been violently subdued, but the air marshals found her passed out from the dive and quickly arrested her.

“The whole thing took two-and-a-half minutes,” Bar-Lev said.

Same attitude that was present during the raid on Entebbe. Like ransoms, hostage-taking is a tactic that only works so long as the other party plays by the rules, and when it succeeds, it guarantees further incidents.

Note that that hijacking was part of a coordinated attack, in the same way 9-11 was. Four planes were attempted. The El Al one made it home. The other three went to Jordan. And by the way, the bitch who was threatening to blow up airplanes with a hand grenade, Leila Khaled, was released. She made it back to Palestine where as at 2014 she was sitting on the Palestinian National Council.

London bridge is covered by City of London police, Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police, all of which have armed units around. The officers in that video are telling them all to get down in case stray shots come through the restaurant. Picking up a weapon in that situation wouldn't be ideal, if police are on the floor telling everyone to get down, they would just take you down. I actually recognise one of those officers, who had a twitter shouting match with Dianne Abbot, an overweight cultural marxist who is high up in government.
